Hi, so I just got the Trinity book and I have noticed that there is actually a mistake in the transcription in the books. Measure 11 in the books says 9/16 but they actually notated the 5th note in the bar as an 8th note as well, making it 10/16 I believe your notation is correct when I listen to the actual track. Thanks for the vid! Edit: They also do this in measure 88! I find it very annoying that I spent time learning it as notated without playing it with the track to realize it is incorrect. Ridiculous of Trinity to make such a mistake...
@@AtomMusicSchool I mean that's understandable as you probably don't have a team and are not an internationally recognised certification provider (as far as I know)🤣
@@AtomMusicSchool okay, maybe not a grade 7 but compared to the other grade 8s it seems easier.. cant say much though as im not anywhere near that level
@@MrFattie862 This is actually the most difficult song of the Grade 8 books, sure it doesn't have tapping but it has a lot of tempo and time signature changes with very strange finger positionings throughout. What level are you working on now? I am doing my first ever Trinity exam this June and it is grade 8 (I have been playing for a very long time - mostly self taught)
@@GainesMusic Very interesting! I suppose there is more to a song being difficult than just speed. Currently learning Grade 5, so havent really attempted any of these songs yet, but I guess looking at the tab vs actually playing the song is very different.
@@MrFattie862 Yeah definitely more than just speed, but speed is a beast of its own for sure! I am doing this one, always with me always with you, and crazy train. What songs did you choose to do for your grade 5? Edit: I think are you gonna go my way is grade 5 and it is ridiculously difficult (specifically the solo)!
cool
COOL!!!!!

Can you do pull off/hammer ons for that intro riff or does it all have to be picked
I probably would. Ultimately, does it sound good??? Dont think they would mark u down.
do yo have gp tabs for this song?
Unfortunately i can t give them out, copyright.
This feels more like a grade 7 than a grade 8 to me.
I dont know, it's pretty brutal.
