ABOUT THE BOOK: Amidst The Downpour’ is a book about the downpour of my thoughts, opinions, and imagination through poetry and prose that represents different themes including self-love, peace, memories, recovery, morality, individuality, optimism, faith and strength which send across a significant message inspiring change, amelioration and acceptance.
Through this book, author Arayna Saxena has delivered a palpable collection of perspectives on the many elements of life. The poetry in this book is raw and beautiful, making this a book that is easily relatable to all of its readers, and a ride brimming with every kind of emotion imaginable. It says the words so many of us think of, but never speak of.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR : Arayna Saxena is a 14-year-old poet; currently studying in 10th grade. She relishes writing poems that make the reader question their surroundings and have a considerable influence on them through the moral of her poems. She prefers exploring different concepts and writing poems on them to put across a meaningful message. She also likes to adopt distinct styles of poetry which the reader can relate to in more ways than one, and usually begins them with the description of asetting and the introduction of characters to personalize the poem. She was 13 years old when she had written this book-which remains very close to her heart as it comprises poems that she had written since she was eight years old.
Arayna was felicitated in her book launch ceremony by Hon’ble Mr Mangubhai C Patel (Governor of M.P.) , Hon’ble Mr Vishwas Sarang (Minister of Medical Education (M.P.), Shri Manoj Srivastava (Retd. Senior IAS Officer and author to about 36 books) and many such prominent personalities in literature and journalism at Minto Hall, Bhopal on 10th October 2021.
