@@jerryhorton5708 I don’t know where you’re getting anger from my point is it’s extremely disrespectful. Dusty was a third of the band when he died. The band died the carry-on just for money that you don’t need is nothing but greed.
I've been totally obsessed with ZZ Top since "Stages" back in late 80's. I am truelly sorry for losing Dusty Hill . But he's been living in my heart forever!Just excuse my poor English pls.
As a native English speaker, I can say your sentence construction and spelling were perfect. Especially the contraction of I have and he is. Kudos. And of course superior taste in music. There ain't nothin' better than that little band from Texas.
been listening to ZZ Top since 1972's Rio Grande Mud...which contains my all-time favorite song by them, "sure got cold when the rain fell" (that original mix is the BEST)...and it never gets old, never gets boring, just plain rocks.
As a freshman in high school, in Pasa-getdown-dena, circa 1969-70, I got to see the Top around town some. A couple of my buddies, who had a band, went over to Billy's house to try out his Marshall head, which he had put up for sale. Gibbons played "Brown Sugar", and they bought the amp... "Brown Suger" is not the same song as the Rolling Stones' tune. It, also, predates it... Imho, "ZZ Top's First Album" still reigns supreme!.. “You just can't live in Texas/if you don't have a lot of soul.” - Doug Sahm #BigLove

Nothing has or EVER will replace ZZ TOP as a top rock n party band . The sound those 3 produced unbelievable. ZZ TOP RAN THRU MY 8 track until cassettes then cds and now digital. Awesome . Saw them in 1980 and 81. Primo good time.
In February 1970, Vaughan joined a band called Liberation, which was a nine-piece group with a horn section. Having spent the past month briefly playing bass with Jimmie in Texas Storm, he had originally auditioned as bassist. Impressed by Vaughan's guitar playing, Scott Phares, the group's original guitarist, modestly became the bassist.[24] In mid-1970, they performed at the Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas, where ZZ Top asked them to perform. During Liberation's break, Vaughan jammed with ZZ Top on the Nightcaps song "Thunderbird". Phares later described the performance: "they tore the house down. It was awesome. It was one of those magical evenings. Stevie fit in like a glove on a hand."❤❤❤
Love ZZ Top. You never know what you will see. The fell holding the longhorn is Ralph Fisher my sort of neighbor. He also had the buzzard, Oscar that traveled with the band during the World Wide Texas Tour. He has some good stories!
oh yes can say that a couple times , not that those 3 80s albums are awful but those 6 first albums leave them with doors blown....when we fire up the turntable nothing after deguello gets touched !
raised on zz since my 1st album in 73 (tres hombres) to fandango to deguello. got to see them in allentown pennsylvania on the deguello tour in 79 with humble pie opening the show. zz hit the stage bout 9pm to temperature of 105. great memories.....
Nowdays, everybody has went crazy. Who cares about technical playing if it doesn't bring joy? I only listen to great music that takes feel and developing a style of playing that makes us feel. I love ZZ Top. They play music that brings a great feeling to everyone 😁
ZZ Top "fandango" is still a great album! They open with "Thunderbird" hard and fresh! Much younger, they had grit and edge. Billy Gibbons has always been a gunslinger guitarist, albeit not so much in later years! Billy, Dusty RIP, and Frank, break in to the song "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers" or "Tush" and they could really lite up any party or stage!
RIP Dusty, good job my man.
ZZTOP Rocking my world for 40 + years now . Saddened that my Hero's are slowly slipping away , Thankful for all the recordings.

It would be better to put them in a group of top trio. Legends like Rush, Cream, The Police, and a few others.
The Police😂😂😂😂
