6K Pro over the new full frame 6K. I am excited to see the next step in the l-mount full frame lineup but will not be "upgrading" to the new camera they released. As you mentioned in many ways it's a downgrade.
Yerp, when I run my tests between pocket 6K pro and BCC 6K. There is a good chance I will be staying with the 6k pro I feel.
Bmcc6k FF? As much as I appreciate the usual users like mateo bertoli and oftwolands were given the camera to test and of course I appreciate that they both have there own styles it is more than disappointing to see so little quality footage for such a camera launch. Are users really so confused by the proper use for open gate. Anamorphic!!! Please. Not to be shot open gate with spherical. Its a format that has no legs whatsoever in terms of delivery and broadcast so can i encourage all those thinking of buying and posting with this camera please to get past the novelty of that frame format and please do not post open gate images unless you are using anamorphic. Meanwhile can someone please post images that are not full of washed out Mediterranean earth tones or endless woodland. Some variation of skin tones would be great and something more urban maybe. Im not too sure how many films are set in coastal hide aways but the obsession with shooting beaches at sunset backlit figures in semi silhouette and endless rolling waves is becoming simply too cliched to be able to judge the colour separation and fidelity of the olpf and clean blacks. I know that there will be a rush to post endless test shots with the new bmcc6k FF but please i implore all those thinking of doing so to have a professional eye towards testing. Put up a colour chart card please and try something other than warm tones and shooting endless backlit sunsets. Everything posted on black magic site is so full of monotonic warm tones. Please i would love to love this camera obviously nit for its design but maybe its image and if for no other reason to shoot anamorphic but the test images from black magic are so disappointing in terms of showing something different and especially putting the olpf to the test. The 4k graded footage is so underwhelming and that is mostly due perhaps to some serious over grading. I understand that this is some people’s idea of cinematic but i know we can do better to show what this camera is capable of so please. Get it out on a council estate and film some real people doing real things. Please. Thanks.
Agreed, I was expecting to see a lot more footage! Something that isnt golden hour ideally!
Yeah right, strange odd few selected for the camera. Would be nice to see it on a few different projects / doing work. Guess we have to wait for delivery to start coming in. I will be getting tests up as soon as mine comes in!
@@vinaydahya5353 he is 100% a BM fanboy, the Sony equivalents of which he totally denigrates. He acts like there is never anything negative about anything whilst snidely mocking every other option. Basically lies is what it's coming close to now with him.
