- Hey guys! This is an updated toolbox tour of my Epiq series cart and Masters series box. a lot of people have asked for an updated tour so I decided to make one. 🔧
I use the Epiq cart for pretty much everything day to day and roll it around the shop wherever I need to go. It’s really nice having the flat top as a work surface anywhere in the shop, which is why I opted for that one instead of the flip lid. ⚒️
Toolganizer was kind enough to send out the organizers for my cart for the new wrench drawer and some other organizers for bits and pliers. Awesome company and they’re all made here in USA. Here’s a link to them :

This is an insane amount of tools, on top of those boxes, if i spent that much the old lady would kill me haha, helicopter mechanics don’t need that much heavy duty stuff though!

According to the internet and my Cornwell dealer, that right angle radiator hook pick @5:31 you have in green doesn’t exist 🤔 I could really use that part number 🙏🏽 sick setup on everything!

Pretty sure I watched this when 1st came out but 4got so now ROUND 2.
That is what sucks about Cornwell. If you need something warrantied, you have to hunt down a dealer. You can't send it in directly to Cornwell. Snap-on, Mac, and Matco allow you to send stuff directly to them if you don't have a dealer. On two different occasions, Snap-on emailed me a shipping label to send it stuff to get warrantied. Cornwell has some awesome BOGO deals, but if you don't have a dealer to warranty stuff, the BOGO deals are a moot point.
yeah that’s what i don’t like about cornwell. i’m slowly phasing all my cornwell out to snap-on
a 2nd year diesel mechanic in AUS for Daimler trucks and wanting to get these big snap on boxes so badly hahaha

How was going from dealer to your own shop? Me and another guy at work are thinking about opening our own shop specializing in Chrysler. Us being Chrysler Jeep dodge ram dealer techs. Wondering if it’s worth it.
it’s stressful but rewarding. my old boss asked if i wanted to leave the dealer and go with him and im glad i did. some days it’s tougher than the dealer, but it’s still worth it. no Saturdays, no warranty, no bullshit

As a pro mechanic how often do you use SAE stuff?
honestly probably not enough to keep that many in my box 😂 i use 1/4”, 9/16”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 1”, and some random SAE allen sockets for aftermarket accessories usually

@@drew5992 i would keep the SAE for a rainy day. especially as a mobile mechanic, older fords and chevy’s have some SAE stuff and when something is swollen or rounded sae or metric doesn’t matter. whatever fits fits lol

it’s currently a catch all/fluids drawer/pest control on top of my fridge at my house in my garage lol

What do you dislike about the astro impact swivels?
they’re very stiff until you use them a while and after using my snap-on and mac USA ones i just prefer the tool truck options. better quality and slimmer profiles. don’t get me wrong, dollar for dollar the astro ones are a great deal. but i just prefer snap-on or mac
@@TxToolGuyyeah I didn’t wanna fork over the $$$$ for the snap on swivels but you are 100% they are a smaller profile. Mainly (in my opinion ) snap on not having that extra meat around where the pin is welded to the base
Of the socket. Makes all the difference for me when using swivels. Specially the 1/2” drive 24mm on brake cans on trucks
The sockets with that extra thick “collars” don’t allow my 24” to get anywhere

How did you put those bumpers on the three drawer cart?
bought them, then cut the tabs out of the inside. cleaned and prepped the surfaces, used 3m double sided body side molding tape and pressed on
