    That fact that Orei actually invested in making a video to help people understand their products says volumes about them. Awesome.

    This is great! I think a video troubleshooting EDID settings would be great too!

    Very thorough video and I learned something new today. Have issue with monitor not detecting HDMI source from a Singtronic Karaoke media device output. Now I think the issue is with the HDMI cable being wrong standard version so will try a different cable.
    Thank you

    So I want to be able to use my Benq monitor with 2 different computers and not share the same feed. With the Benq monitor, I can have one monitor set with the puck on 1 and then have another feed for puck 2 and switch back and forth. Which HDMI connector would I use? I don't want to share the same feed on 2 monitors, but rather be able to use the 1 monitor and use the KVM switch feather to switch between the 2 computers. Is there a device for that?

    I had this running 2 TV’s and had to replace one of the TV’s. Now when I turn on the 2nd TV (the new one) I get an error saying check the device for power. If I unplug the extender and plug it back in it comes right on. No wires were changed on the TV’s. The main TV work with no issues like normal.
    Any thoughts? Maybe the setting I have the TV on?
    Edit: I forgot I also replace the Roku device I had plugged into the HDMI import on the extender.

    Hello! I have an HDMI extender over ethernet. I'm trying to use the HDMI out of my Mac Laptop as my source. Once I plug the Mac into the sender unit, it shows up on screen for a few seconds then it goes to black. I've tried all the display settings on my Mac, every which way and refresh rates and resolutions..nothing works. It shows up for a few seconds when I first plug it in, but then nothing after. I've tried other adapters out of the laptop as well. I know the setup works because when I plug a PC as my source via HDMI, it works 100% fine. Any help?

    Question, does the extenders for instance ‎EX-230UHD work with a normal network switch connected in between? For instance Transmitter->Network Switch->Receiver?

      Unfortunately no. We have no 4K device that works over IP. We will have one soon.

    So after all test you don’t really need a very expensive cable just test the resistance the 24.99 from Home Depot is a cat5e 24awg the lower the gauge is lower resistance

    I got the EX-165c and wanted to send the hdmi 1080P signal from top floor tv to another tv on the main floor via power line adapters since I cannot use a direct lan network cable from the transmitter to receiver. So I thought I could transmit via power line adapters but for some reason I cannot get power on the receiver this way so no picture. Anyway to fix this?

      I have a similar issue. however, in my case the power to the receiver works but the hdmi from the receiver to the monitor is having issues. I don’t know what’s causing or how to fix it.
      Did you manage to fix yours?

    • @fotofx9589

      @@MH-sf3oj no unfortunately it’s not supported and so I returned it. Got myself another one from a different brand (AV Access ) and works amazing thru power line adapters. Bit more expensive though. Around the 150.oo range but it works. And it also works wirelessly.

    We have multiple 165C modules installed in a community hall. The issue is sometimes, few devices do not work. It is random and we don't really know what is wrong. Can you please help us with this issue?

      Hi test the resistance of cable it should be no higher than 4homs

  • @Rulsi30
    @Rulsi30 4 місяці тому

    Home Depot have a cat5e 100’ for $24.99 and works perfect I did tested the resistance with a voltmeter and tested 3.2at 100’ if the cable tested more like 6@16 Homs resistance then the cable is not going to work I did tested some 13.99 100’ cables from Amazon and eBay and resistance is @16homs at 100’ so this cables don’t work after so many test that one that Home Depot have a very simple cat5e for 24.99100’ works perfect and I did connected 2 100’ =to 200’ of this 24.99 cable from Home Depot and no problem works great so test your cable resistance before it have to be no more than 4homs at 100’

      I had this problem too when it was plugged into a powerstrip. When I plugged it directly into a wall socket, all flicker stopped.

    Thanks for telling me how to troubleshoot, hdmi, network, power, monitor settings, computer settings. But let’s get to the real issue. The net extenders. Yeah let’s point fingers everywhere else first and then not even say a thing about the product it’s self. Come on people, read between the lines. They made this video so you will go through all of this shit first before they will let you RMA the bad product.

    • @OREI-COM
      @OREI-COM  Рік тому

      Ofcourse, we wont issue an RMA for a good product.
