Do they communicate via IP Protocol? Can you configure the IPs? Subnet Mask? Default Gateway? Maybe via a DHCP server? I'm thinking about using them from different subnets, so they would have to communicate via a gateway
Hello, I bought an extender pair (transmitter/receiver) and it works fine. I will soon buy another pair because I use two monitors. In the user manual, it is written the following: "When using multi-connection, the 1000 Mbps network switch should support IGMP protocol (Not IGMP snooping)". Can you give an example of a not very expansive switch that will work? What means "Not IGMP snooping" ? I see two meanings: a) It is enough for the switch to support the IGMP protocol. It can support also IGMP snooping, but it is not mandatory; b) A switch that supports IGMP snooping will not work. It should only support the IGMP protocol. Which is the correct meaning? I intend to buy a switch, but many of them support IGMP snooping, so I am not sure if they will work. Thank you!
Does this work with protect display content? Like Disney streaming or Netflix? Also what if you pug this device through a managed network switch, utilising existing cables instead of laying a dedicated ethernet cable? And what about Vlans for security reasons.... also protocol dpes it use?
It compatible with HDCP 1.1, if your source is HDCP protected, your display also must support HDCP. Use Cat5e/6 ethernet cable with T568B order. It canbe managed by VLANs, and the network switch must support IGMP protocol (Not IGMP snooping) if you use several transmitters in a local area network.
Do I need to connect the IR cable if all I want to do is to connect from remote PC to my PC? what if I have walls between rooms? Regarding the CAT6 cable - do I need a crossover cable? (If I'm not connecting through a switch)
If you don't need to use IR you could leave IR cables don't connect. It doesn't matter whether there is wall. Don't use crossover cat cable, follow T568B standard.
The KVM extender don't support DHCP, they all have self IP addresses, but they can work in a LAN with IP address range 192.168.1.0/24 (or other range like 192.168.3.0/24) . We don't suggest to put the extenders and other network devices in a same LAN. If you did need to do this, you should use a network switch which support VLAN configuration and separate the extenders from other network devices.
Hello I want to extend the signal from a PC Gamer to a 1080p TV screen, is there a problem with the FPS (frame per seconds)? Or that refresh rate of the image is given by the monitor or the video card? In my case it would be an Nvidia GTX1070. regards
Do you guys do something that would use dhcp assigned ips? i'm looking to add 10s of hdmi outputs and have accessible over a kvm output. Ideally i'd have an 8 or 16 port kvm per rack if you guys do that?
Not sure if you're still searching, but they have different hdmi switches, hdmi KVMs and HDMI Matrix solutions for 19 inch racks and up to 16 devices available on eBay and Amazon. Currently I have their 8x8 Matrix in use.
2 questions: 1. Will there be a 4-USB port version or USB 3 version with 4 ports? keyboard and mouse is great but many times someone would like also to connect disk-on-key etc... 2. Where can i buy your products like model HKE1011A7U?
Hello, if you want to buy our products, you can send an email to this email(sales@tesla-smart.com) to ask for specific details. our sale colleague will contact with you in the first time.
I can use this devices over internet connection? I’m searching for a solution to control remotely my Cable TV box and watch my paid TV cable channels when away from home.
This device will not work over the internet. Good news though, you can create a free TeamViewer account and install it on any pc you want to remote control

Hello, thanks for the information,, to transmit different videos to several screens, how can I do it? You know that I have a funeral home and I want to put screens to process a photo of the person with the data of the same, as well as a small video type that is reproducing all day. There are 4 chapels, then there would be 4 different videos with 4 different screens. You tell me I have to have 4 PC? or 4 different devices (sources) to transmit? Can not do everything from a single PC? Thanks in advance. regards
Hi, a very late response but maybe you can still use it. Try Aster Control (www.ibik.ru/) with this system. You can split 1 pc to many virtual pc's works great for me.
Hi, I would like to use this but over PowerLine plugs from one room (living room with Sky-Q Box) to another room (bedroom) could that work ?. if so, I presume the powerline units would have to be of a certain spec/speed - can you elaborate. Many thanks
Hello, for this video, due to limited space, we only connected 4 receivers. Actually, this product can support up to 16 transmitters and 253 receivers.
Thank you for your message. The USB extender in the video can only extend the keyboard and mouse signal. We have another one that can support extended USB2.0. You can follow us. We will bring you more new products in the future.

The fiber optic modem has LAN input. So your devices support the IPv4 LAN protocol? They have a range of network numbers from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.16. Or am I wrong?
Thanks for the very quick and detailed answers! And one more question. The standard request on a local network from transmitter 192.168.168.50:8080. Or are you using a different port?
This has high latency, I can't use it for 3D designing or creative work, the latency is very annoying, imagine if it was for gaming. its good enough to check on your server.
Great achievement, this technology was develop by newtek. This is also very good for video conferencing & video links for long distance viewer.

Is it possible to achieve it with camcorders by converting the hdmi output to ip and make a multicamera from a distance of more than 200 meters?

Hello, do you want to transmit the video signal to the far end? This is a video extender that can extend the video signal by 120 meters.
Hmmm
Nice thanks for information
You are welcome, friends, you can follow us and bring you more information.
what is the IR used for?
What kind of lag if any can one expect from this? Is Audio transmitted also?
Hello, there will be a delay, because there is a switch that can output audio.
how about audio? no connector for audio?
HDMI has its own audio output. If your output is equipped with speakers, there will be sound.
So its extender or it works with LAN, with switches and routers?
Also, does it support mouse USB in and out?
Yes,it can work with switches and routers, and it supports mouse and keyboard.
Tesla -smart ok, where i can get one on Poland? I need to test it

If your input source is 3, then you will be able to achieve 3 different display contents.
I am interested in purchasing this, is there a USB 3.0 model? also where can I purchase?

Yes, it can be used in wireless networks, but it is not stable.
