Going to watch the rest of this video later, but just from the first few minutes I would like to make a point. While I do think that the game could do with being sped up a little, most of the time it is just because the game seems to lag for a few seconds when you click on a character portrait or when you buy gumballs (which may be server latency idk), or watching slow fights at the start of the game. I do have a problem with you calling any animation between phases wasted time as I do value the extra quality the game gets from these visual flourishes. I will admit that it is hard to quantify the value add of these extra animations, but the game has a lot of personality and I think some of the charm would be lost if not for the attention put into small transitions here and there. I'm personally not counting the seconds during transitions, but then I am enjoying the game a lot. In terms of time I think the game length is a bit of a problem. The way the game is formatted between days and hours and requiring a high number of wins means most games end up being over an hour long. While this does make some games drag, and sometimes it is better to just concede a bum run instead of taking that 40 minutes to lose with so few wins, I have been able to get lost in some of my runs and I have enjoyed some of the longer games. I do get it if the game length is a problem for you and hopefully they add some combat skips or speed ups for those less interesting fights.
100% to all of this, I wish I had said it as well as this. My #1 request would be to give the player an option to skip animations if they want to. I completely get that some people like them, and they are very well done. Slay the Spire has slow mode and fast mode, after playing that game for 600hrs+ I prefer to skip the little animations, and they allow the player to do that. I think they are intentionally adding delays, vs it being a lag issue. It's similar to the delay they had in vampire survivors when getting a loot chest drop (a delay they eventually let players skip after getting enough complaints about it). Delays build up suspense, like rolling a roulette wheel, or watching the wheels on a slot machine spin. I do not find those types of delays enjoyable.
The timers were fun, congratulations on figuring them out! Personally I appreciate that you share your stats and thoughts at the start and are honest with your feelings about the games being played :P

As a Gen Xer listening to you complain about the seconds you are wasting playing a video game (kind of the point of a video game) when I would have to wait 2 minutes to get online back in the day. Made me feel like your video was a waste of time so I dropped this comment and will ghost your channel.
You know the comment helps the video, right? Waiting 2 min due to technical limitations is different than intentionally adding 2 minutes of delay to make the game feel more like a slot machine.

It wasn't intended to be, but I could see it being considered bait. I'm good with that :) weird how defensive people are over a random bad game. If I made a video: 'my problem with slay the spire', no one would care because everyone knows it's a great game. Maybe someday this one will be a Slay the Spire level game, but it isn't in its current early state.

This is true, there are people (myself included) who like hearing people's genuine thoughts in live streams and even UA-cam videos. Instead of being fed scripted content. Scripted videos do better, but I mostly play videogames for fun. I am having fun with the comments on this video though, I'm tempted to try it!
I think 'the bazaar' NEEDS a speed up animation button for people like us who care a lot less about flash and pazazz, I can see why people are mad about "time wasted on A GAME" considering that's what they believe games are for. The thing to remember is that people like games for different reasons. LTG is like me and couldn't care any more about animations that only serve to be pretty but slow down the game. Yes I believe your opinion matters, but telling the UA-camr your dumb and bad because you have a negative attitude about the game is not the way. Especially LTG, as I didn't get recommended this video, I had to find it, he talked about resisting the urge to bully people in the comments, and while he wouldn't be justified in bullying, it's kinda what they are trying to do to him for explaining his thoughts. I'm not going to finish this video, I already knew I wouldn't like the bazaar because I don't like games that are "slow" by my definition. TLDR LTG is based for sharing his thoughts, getting hate for it, and not just unlisting this video because as he said himself, he didn't put LOTS of effort into this video.
From the first 30 minutes of me watching I can clearly tell you have played little to nothing of this game. The more you play the more you will understand how the items interact with each other and how to actually "scale" whichever damage you decide to use. Like backpack battles its all about knowing the items and which items work well together which can only be figured out with playtime or a wiki/guide. Another thing to note is sadly this character you are playing has been overly nerfed due to having 2 wild dominate high synergy builds. The character will be buffed I assume in the next coming patches.
Having to wait for animations so it can feel more like a loot box every action/click is not appealing to me. It's pulling a slot machine lever 300 times and watching what slowly happens each time. I don't care what happens, if the run goes well or goes poorly. I just want to stop playing as quick as possible.

I think you raised a lot of valid points. Gamespeed is too slow, not enough information. With a game like this it shouldn't be either use a wiki for your decisions or play enough hours to know what each thing is. Also the gumballs event is really just so tedious. Also yeah it does look really nice but good graphics don't mean good game
I know it doesn't say but items like fishing rod generate stuff in backpack as well, so you don't have to use it on board and could've gone weights for example

Maybe you shouldn't revolve your persona around a game with 15 minutes of fame. Then you wouldn't be so salty about the new better variations. I played a bunch of BB, and it was fun, but got boring. Hoping you can find a more general person so you can enjoy other games!
