(While the burn is active, and still assuming ofc that the burn isn't stacking)
I would argue that for the people who don't really like math, it is easier to remember: The tick rate x Half of the tick rate + Half of the tick rate, In practical terms this would look like 6x3+3 or 420x210+210. I am not saying the math gets easier to do just easier to remember the equation. Hope this helped :)

Just ran a similar burn-core + rays build yesterday - also got the restorative fire claw on the right and all 4 rays on the left of the core - made it to 2 chests before I f’d up and gave a haste enchantment to the claw, not realizing it would scrub the heal 🤦 Best ranked run I’ve had since the update! That said wish I had had your plasma rifle for triple-cast on the core - ran the claw on the right though for more scaling, but was having haste issues
I wonder if it would have made more sense to put the incendiary round between the rifle and duct tape. I'm pretty sure that would have activated 4x compared to where you had it.
Fruit I want to see you try an aquatic build with Vanessa. Got 2 wins with it using cove, sextant, and other aquatic items for shields + healing. I think one was with torpedo and other was with that bamboo spear

If you want more info, even for multiple applications from the same item, an actual calculator app or python script is going to be convenient. It's a recursive process over x applications of burn.

burn calculation for one item should be "burn(burn + 1)/2" or in the case of the core "6(6+1)/2"
