Fellow language teacher here! I organize all of my units in binders. Each unit/level gets it own binder. I keep the lesson plans, followed by any handouts, in the order they are used, followed by any manipulatives. I also keep a master “to copy” list at the front of the binder that is organized by each lesson plan in the unit and by the name of the file on my computer.
+Tricia Johnson Yay language teacher! I wish I had the space to have a binder per unit! That sounds like a lovely, organized system! I think my long-term filing system is going to be more simplified (mostly due to space constraints 😅)...
Thank you for inspiration. I am about to start my first year as teacher and I am still trying to figure out the organisation system... this seems to work pretty well, especially the lesson plan section ;-)
I wish I could be half as organized as you! Thank you for your videos, I'm sure they will help me improve my classes organization, because right now I'm a complete mess
I really enjoy your videos. I’m curious to know where you teach. Im assuming it’s not in the USA. Where did you get that 4 ring binder? I’m interested in getting one. Thanks for sharing how you organize things. I’m learning from you.
+Sylvia Mendez-Morse Thank you! I teach in France ☺️ Two or four-ring binders are standard here! I’m not sure how widely available they are elsewhere... You’re welcome! I’m glad you find my videos useful!
