Especially because it changes depending on schoolsystem and national education system We learned to make very detailed lessonplans so I don't need to do anything the rest of the time :) I do every chapter before it begins and I do these for every level of classes and then I can use them again and again with little changes ^^
Do you have any tips for self-study? I'd like to begin learning different things in my free time, like languages and maybe skills of some kind. I don't know how or where to start the process. I'd like to maybe create a syllabus for myself to follow.
I have a very haphazard approach to self-study. I do try to find a resource online that I can try to follow: for example, I use talk to me in Korean to structure my Korean studies. You could also look for UA-cam channels!
I really learning how to do these stuff because I want to become a teacher one day. Yes I’m still in school and I always help the teacher and students. I might want to do First Grade or Kindergarten
I've been lesson planning on PowerPoint for about five years and I love it! I've never tried Google Drive since Internet at my school is so unreliable. Do you have a document camera to project worksheets, books, etc.? Thanks for sharing how you lesson plan.
Nice to see (I use Word + link internally for sheets I need to hand out instead). One thing though, aren't you using Google slides and not Power Point? (minor thing but still :) )
can you share your powerpoint lesson plan? I am going to do this google drive thing! How long did it take you set it all up? I feel like it will take me forever!

This is one of reasons I moved to prepping the whole unit - when I prep the unit, I also make the PPT that goes with it. So I have 7 classes which means 7 PPTs ready to go. I try to make sure I have the whole week (or longer) ready to go so I’m not scrambling the night before 😅
Not as far as I know...and I plan to keep it that way for as long as possible 😂🙈 (not because anything is inappropriate or because I talk about them...but I just feel like it would potentially cause a distraction in class...)

I don’t have a document camera...I usually scan the pages and put the picture in my ppt!

Haha yes! But I use “PowerPoint” like I use “kleenex” (brand representing a general thing) 😂🙈

so if you are teaching 5 lessons a day, would you need to do 5 powerpoints the night before the lesson? or can you use your colleagues powerpoint?
