As a retired math teacher, I can absolutely affirm that the word "and" in a number designates a decimal. Thanks, Ray! 👍
Also a retired math teacher and agree with both you and Ray.
As a maths teacher in the UK , and means addition so we say one hundred and twenty eight. For the decimal we use point. One hundred point two eight. Language usage in different countries is so interesting. 😊
I am from the US and I was taught to say point for the decimal.
In the US 😁 Deffo not a thing in the UK. We don’t say one hundred twenty two, that’s an American wording 👍🏻😁
Great episode guys! 😍 How have you not come across Sarah Schira?! 😲 Had to laugh when you said ‘imagine the christmas table setting’ Kevin, her design name on rav is imagined landscapes! 😂 They’re super addictive, enjoy! 🤩
Ray looks so Clint Eastwood in his wrap. Love it!
LOL, totally get that vibe.
Hi Kevin and Ray. An Aussie here. I love that you say Y'all. It's a great word!!
New Zealander here, and ditto
Mostly a southern phrase I believe.
@saraw8503 yes, I am a Southerner, and I know we say it a lot! I know I do. 😂
It so funny that we tend to say it, y'all is more common in the southern states.
OMG!!! I'm driving down from Louisville by myself to go to the Nash Yarn Fest. I'm so excited that you all will be there! Would totally make my day to meet you all!
Wait!!! Did you two go to the same high school? As a former teacher, I love the call out about an awesome Math teacher! Hope someone in his family heard that! Gone but not forgotten!
Thanks again for a great episode !
Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
Rae when I am Tunisian crocheting I have my working yarn in my left hand and tend to have that holding the working yarn and the project, and am using my pointer finger to wrap the yarn around the hook to pull the yarn through the stitches. I am always looking at the side of the hook, it is never twisting if that kind of makes sense. And I will move the hook side of things up and down as I am wrapping to help with the process. Hopefully that is helpful!
I do always love seeing what you guys are working on and is always so inspiring!
Kevin, your “ yarn baby” is beautiful! Great socks guys! Ray, good luck with your TC. I had a hard time at first holding my hook with the loops on it, but it got more comfortable over time. Toni Lipsey has a review of TC hook sets. I didn’t care for TC until I watched Toni’s review and bought a Clover set, based on her review. Definitely worth watching.
We Brits do indeed say one hundred and twenty eight, and we have a bonnet (hood) and boot (trunk) on a car and petrol stations rather than gas stations. My favourite US English word is Eggplant, tickles me pink every time. The first time I visited the US I was baffled by Eggplant noodles, took me days to work out it was Aubergine pasta. I also love cilantro and zucchini, coriander and courgette here but my absolute favourite phrasing difference is negative two instead of minus two. You do need to stop calling everything a sweater though, its a woolly pully and a cardi if you don’t mind 😘.
that was a good one! I love woolly pully :)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Slipstravaganza was also my very first Stephen West MKAL as well. It is my favorite so far. The Go Go Dynamo is a very close 2nd. I am halfway through the hiberknitalong and I am loving it as well.
Slipstravaganza MC-766 yds
CC1-2 & 3-399 yds each.
I have crocheted since I was 9 years old, but I just learned to knit in 2019.
"Get away from me!"....you guys CRACK me up...love love love your channel! Thank you so much for keeping me company while I knit.
Hi Kevin and Ray. Glad you guys decided to visit New England Farm and Fiber, it was nice saying hi. Enjoyable podcast as always.
Thank you, it was great getting to chat for a bit. Hope you enjoyed that day.
Hey Ray! My friend Julie from accrochet is a designer of both regular and tunisian crochet, she told me she buys the ChiaoGoo Swivel 360 Silver Cables - 3 piece - 5cm (2") and puts it between the cord and the crochet, this makes it a lot easier to turn it. Hope this helps!
Great episode. Always enjoy seeing all your wonderful projects and hearing about them. Your hand spun yarn is fantastic! Best wishes for Boston! Look forward to hearing about it.
Thank you Mike.
I like your “ cookies” rather than biscuit which is what we say in the UK. Love your knits guys, love your vlog too. Great stuff.
Biscuit comes from French and means twice (bi) baked (cuit). (Edit from a Brit living in France)
As a Brit there’s so many different words, we use ‘car boot’, but I love trunk, it makes me think of old cars with the trucks strapped to the back. Bless your heart always makes me smile, such a sweet insult. Cookies sound cosier than biscuits but I am firm on arse, a much stronger swear than ass. Thank you for a lovely visit. xx ps, we brits do say 100 and …
Hello from the UK! I’ve always loved your term “fall”. We call that season “autumn” but I think that “fall” is just so much more evocative.
Your were right by the way, we always add the “and” into our numbers. One hundred and twenty eight = 128. One hundred point two eight = 100.28. It does sound jarring to our ears to say one hundred twenty eight. Might just about get away with one twenty eight. But that’s enough on that subject! 😂
So right Ray! No “and” unless it’s a decimal! As a teacher, I love that you remember your high school teacher ❤!
100% am on the same yarn journey as you. I am in the process of mass producing Ross Hats with my acrylic blends and other machine wash tumble dry yarn in order to use it up. The hats are all getting donated to local shelters and I am actually finding this “project” has been GREAT to practice skills I learned in Patty Lyon’s workbook! Winning everywhere! I will never yarn shame as all yarns have a purpose and “audience”, but I sure appreciate the variety of natural fibers out there.
Why do you put “audience” in air quotes? All yarn has people who want to use it for a variety of reasons. I have a large stash and have been crafting for decades. There isn’t a single type of yarn that I would not consider using depending on the project and the recipient. Experience widens one’s perspective rather than shrinking it.
@ I absolutely agree. I think I just couldn’t come up with a better way to say that there is always a purpose for every kind of yarn. As I have become a more skilled knitter, I am more aware of which yarns play well for which projects. It can be acrylic, blends, sock, merino, and all the others! It’s all good! Right now, using up my stash acrylic for learning skills and donations has been affordable and efficient for me. I apologize if I came across as judgmental. Happy knitting!
Yes we do say 100 and 28. We also say Petrol in the UK. You say Math we say Maths. I like how you say Anyways, We say anyway. Anyways could go on but won't, love your Podcasts.
Ray, you can put a clip on your cord when tunisian crochet to keep your work close up. and I do believe you are correct about decimal points.
Looking forward to seeing you at Nash Fest... I'll be the awkward person too shy to say hello. 😂
So if no one else has suggested this. Or if they have I second the motion. The Sewrella Tunisian interchangeables are my favorites. They are metal and feel so good on the hand. Love them!
Love watching you boys and have since episode one. Love to see and hear of your growth in your making. I know you mention different and new podcast and I have one for you. It is a new one that just got started and only has 5 episodes so for. It is called two sistahs knit tin and talkin shit. They are to funny and have a sweet banter. Hope you get to watch and enjoy it.
I think sidewalk makes much more sense than pavement which is what we call it in the UK. We say boot instead of trunk too.
I'm really excited that you will be at Nash Yarn Fest. I will introduce myself so you can know one more of your listeners. Did you guys go to the same high school?? so cool that you both seem to know the math teacher.
also, another favorite British word -- the windscreen (not windshield). the bin (not trash can). Biscuits (not cookies) and so many more. I like to read alot of British authors and sometimes had to look up words! I think the license is a store that sells liquor.
Love your spinning results -- Kevin. And I have wanted to try Tunisian crochet for years, so thanks for the little boost.
See you in March!
We can't wait, it will be our first time visiting Nashville. Yes, we did go to the same high school, but didn't meet until after we both graduated.
You’re going to love NASHVILLE. i live 90 minutes away but I’m going to the Middle Tennessee Fiber fest in Dickson Tennessee the weekend before. Have fun and try to stay out of trouble Ray, LOL
I am sorry that I watched this on Monday because I would have asked to see your socks--especially since I am in the middle of knitting a pair for my son with the same shoe size as you Ray!!! So nice talking to you both
It was great getting to chat with you, hope you enjoyed the day.
Hi Kevin and Ray! The yarn road I have traveled through the years has been the same! And it has been a Wonderful ride! I LOVE all of the yarns no matter where I have bought them or even dyed a few with my sister! I Love seeing all of both of your makes! Those Owl Post Harry Potter Coffee mug bag set are soo unique! On my way to visit that maker! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Ray, lovely wrap however watching you in it the theme from "The Good, Bad & the Ugly" plays in my head! 😊
Hi Ray & Kevin, I always enjoy listening to your podcast and seeing the new dyed yarn along with your current projects!
I gasped with you when you called Ray a Karen.😮 Love, Karen
I have the yarn for Slipstravaganza and would love to actually start kniting it. I'd definitely join in on an Along for it. The required yarn is 2 skeins of the main color and 1 each of the three CCs.
I like "Ya'all! AND I like that the Aussie's say "Get on I'll dink ya" We say " get on I'll double you. (on a bike) LOL
I nearly screamed with joy to hear your going to Nashville, oh lord I so hope I get to meet you in person. I tell all my knitty friends y’all are my best friends, you just don’t know it yet. lol.
I am so excited for you to possibly meet Kevin and Ray. We are going to have so much fun. I can't wait.❤
Definitely say hi if you see us, we are looking forward to going.
My favourite American words are cookie and cabin. In Australia we call cookies 'biscuits' and cabins are a 'shack' or a 'hut'. I also love that you call Christmas 'the holidays' so it's inclusive, and I think you guys made 'yarn' the default instead of 'wool', which is great as we use more fibres than just wool. Oh, and 'hot cocoa' sounds more snuggly than our 'hot chocolate'.
PS Another one is your 'barn' rather than our 'shed'.
Yes! We say chuffed in England - a lot!!
I love everything! Happy making 🩷🧶💚
Thank you so much!
I'm so glad you're coming to Nashville for NashFest. I live two hours north of Nashville and will be there! I've watched you all since the beginning when it was just Kevin. I always look forward to a new podcast. You always inspire me and make me laugh!
J & L rock too. I did lol when they called you out. Ray, love your shawl. Thanks for the podcast, always look forward to it.
LOL, love those ladies.
Hi Ray you can try using a swivel cord for your Tunisian crochet hook. The ChiaoGoo knitting swivel cords work on the Tunisian crochet hooks. Your shawl is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see it finished!
Ray, on the thumb of the mittens, or at the underarm, or wherever there might be holes, pick up as many stitches as you need and get rid of the extras on the next or even the second round. Love your dedication to the podcast!
Hi guys!!
YES, I was taught to never said "and" when saying numbers...
What I've noticed of late is that people don't say "the" before some places... example: "I went to hospital", not "I went to the hospital". Maybe I'm just old. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm sitting here watching you & making chickens, I found a ball of "ice cream" yarn & assembly line making 4... barely making a dent in the ball. 🤷🏻♀️
I just need to dye some red and yellow... I don't have ANY!! 😲
I don't need much for beaks and wattles.
Thanks for reminding me I need to make a Ravelry page. 🙄
Noooooooo, I don't need more yarn!!
But I REALLY enjoyed using you "frozen Grasshopper" single brews.
I'm loving "tiger's eye"!!
The single brew has so much character.
Have an awesome fortnight!!
🤣😂🤣😂
My car is "green with envy", its lime green!! (Yes, really!! A Challenger!!)
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks for your video today ! The months of January and February I struggle with seasonal depression and your channel just brings me a bit of joy. I think my color likes are similar to Kevin. Green is my favorite color anything that lines up with plants. Have a great couple of weeks.
LisaR: Love your projects ! The Tunisian Crochet hooks come with cords that rotate ( as in some circular needles...) I find that very helpful when the project is wide - Maybe you'll find that helps ;) Also ❤, the Bargello is gorgeous. When you mentioned cutting after you were finished- 😅... a word of caution? Check really carefully that if you cut 1) there's actually a closed mesh left ( ie you're not cutting away the right side support of stitches...
2) stabilize the work before cutting . Buy a button hole cutter ( a flat tapered stable short length razor sharp edge with no wiggle , comes with a block of wood to put underneath . Then you can just press down in one cut . Trying to cut on this slippery plastic this close to the stitching , for such a long way with exacto is high probability of a slip ...
3) the other way : Do an overhand stitch around the edge in either one color or match colors all the way up by leaving a tail to stitch over to secure old color .... ps - Wow! My spinning didn't look close to yours after much longer - Kudos ! ❤
Hi Kevin and Ray, beautiful projects loving the yarn too. I have restarted to learn Tunisian crochet too and aim to make a sampler blanket with the stitches I learn. Have a great week ❤❤❤
Thank you Linda! Ray is looking forward to making a blanket with Tunisian crochet.
Always happy to see you guys.
Thank you so much for watching!
If y’all do a Slipstravaganza knit-a-long I’m in. Too bad not this month, could’ve been flashback February 😂 I’ve got yarn from a Canada trip two years ago I bought for it, but never made. Can’t believe I missed you coming up to Boston, hope it was a good day trip! 😭
Love your socks, Kevin! And YES! Good eye!! It is a very dark green stripe!
I love Tunisian Crochet I have put this shawl on my to do list I am currently converting a knit sweater pattern into a Tunisian pattern and I am really liking how it is turning out
Your shawl is stunning !! You need to try the Knitter Pride Dreamz or Ginger set they are really great With larger projects unfortunately that happens its because you are only working in one direction instead of turning the work. You will figure out a way to make it work
Thank you, this has been a great pattern to work on. Will definitely check out those hooks.
Ray, I totally agree about using the word ‘and’ with numbers, I was taught that means a decimal point. It drives me nuts to hear it! 😂
Great podcast 😊 Ray, you'll need to show us your WestKnits shawl again, finally finished mine this week, was a bit of an effort!
You mentioned over the pond differences, I'm in Scotland and I love US people using the word 'trash'. Trash Can, take out the trash etc. We have rubbish bins, pedal bins, paper bins, wheelie bins - so many flipping bins 🙄. Trash is a fabulous self-explanatory word! I did use it as much as I could visiting NYC last year 😂.
You’re right… in England we say ‘one hundred and twenty eight’, when I moved to Massachusetts it was one of those things I’ve never quite changed. In England we also say *Petrol Station*, *Torch* for both the flame on a stick, and the battery operated light, or phone light, *Boot* is a trunk…also we say Bonnet rather than hood of the car….there are so many, and Ive lived here so long now, and as I’m getting older I’m forgetting which is which… 😆 😆
We call a sweater a jumper, and I was here for years before I found out that jumper here is a kind of pinafore dress!!! It was a bout 20 years before I found out that coffee cake here does not have coffee in it…I avoided it all that time!
Love your channel! 😃
I also love American words like awesome and gorgeous! 🤩
Thank you! 😃
Welcome to February! Last night another UA-camr was talking Popeyes. I'm going today! I feel you! Did you ever get to see the Les Garçon brick and mortar (very Brit like speak!) in your travels?
I can't wait to start my jelly roll. Mine will be more consistent in size. Mine will be all Aberdeen minis.
I was all set to make something from my stone soup yarn. Some nasty creature must have invaded. It was all small strings.....both skeins. That isn't fair!!! I'm expletive! I try not to swear!
That color looks like a lovely brown to me on this device. You have to seek the sunlight to determine the true color. 🤣!
Your yarn journey sounds like mine including Arne and Carlos. COVID changed things for me. I never had time to bother with UA-cam so there you go!
Your canvas project I would like the pattern as a scarf!
Oh Ray, yes it is going to be cool! I like the crescent shape but I like more scarf like size. Would it be easy to modify? Is it going to be wider? Are you on the decrease or still increasing. I'll have to see the WIP when more in the finishing mode! - 2 weeks???
Do tell about your teapot. Different temperatures intrigue me! Isn't it a no no to use boiling water?
Go get Reese and I'll go to the more button ! I like that you actually have what you say is there...there! Not all UA-camrs do. They will say to find it in the description but no, not there!
Now you got me to go to this festival in Boston! Hope to see you both. Love the socks
Kevin your newly spun yarn is BEAUTIFUL!! And Ray, I had the same problem when getting used to Tunisian crochet. It was weird to have to hold your yarn that is on the needle while manuvering your hook. I did not ever learn a trick just got used to it but still worry about it stretching my fabric (so far things have blocked out fine). TL Yarn Crafts also has a great tunsian shawl pattern which is super popular and easy to knit and free on her website - it's the Lamia Wrap and looks amazing in hand dyed yarn.
I made the Lamia wrap and agree - it’s a gorgeous pattern for Tunisian and loved making it.
Another wonderful podcast. Kevin, your handspun is incredible….and congrats on getting wholesale orders! You truly put your heart and soul into everything you do! As always, I thoroughly enjoy watching every 2 weeks (forth night)🧶
I’m on the same yarn buying journey 😂😂😂 I stayed at the Jo-Ann/Micheals for almost 15 years as I started crochet at age 8 or 9! After getting a proper job, started delving into indie dyed ❤
It is fun to see how our choices change, sometime ever just the colors we like change from year to year.
I enjoyed spending time with you and also aka “breaking my own bank” With your yarns 🤫 just kidding, thank you for the discount. I look forward to my goodies. Stunning colors❤
Hi, so nice to see your Podcasts again while being a night owl., while putting in some stitches. You guys are so very RAD 🐦!!
Thank you so much for watching Lydia!
Hi Kevin, Ray and Skylar🐦 , Thanks again for another inspiring and enjoyable episode. Love both of your socks, Ray's shawl and Beautiful hand spun yarn Kevin! Happy Knitting!
Hi Ray and Kevin - Ray I can understand the Tunisian hook grip issue from your explanation. I have a double headed Tunisian hook (it has a cable) that I don’t know how to use, but if I’m guessing, may act a little like knitting.
Haven't tried a double headed hook before. It may just take some getting use to.
Ray, my grandmother taught me how to make reversible afghans using Tunisian crochet hooks about 24 inches long that my grandfather whittled from wooden dowels. Last year I made my first twin size afghan using one of those hooks. First crochet project I made and I love it.
Ah..the yarn progression...I feel so seen! 🤣
Kevin, curious why you chose the Daedelus e-sponner versus one of the other brands. I'm researching choices and options
HEY YOU GUYS!!! Congrats Winners!!! I first learnt about not using "and" when I started writing out the amount on a check. Ray: I had to give up crochet because I started cramping in the hand that was tensioning the yarn and holding the fabric. For a while I couldn't go more than about 5 minutes. That's when I finally picked up knitting, after several failed attempts. Since then, I have been able to crochet again, but haven't done that much. Kevin: I love OOAK skeins. Makes me feel ever so Exclusive. You know what I mean, Dahling? Why are you testing my willpower this way? I failed achieving a No-Buy year in 2024. Am I doomed to repeat? Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh, I'd say that was a no-brainer.
Looking forward to Nash Yarn Fest. Hope my friends and I get to see you there. ❤
You are correct. It implies a decimal point. When you write out a check it is correct to write “one hundred twenty-eight and xx/100 cents.”
In Shetland, we call a flashlight a 'blinky'. A trunk is also a 'boot' here and our knitting is called our 'sock' or our 'maakin' ❤
My father (born on an isolated coastal barrier island in 1912) always called the trunk a boot.
Love calling it a blinky.
Your yarns are beautiful 😍.
Thank you Heather!
I’ll be at Nash Fest! Can’t wait and hope to see you there!
Looking forward to it.
I love my Denise Tunisian hooks and my Sewrella Tunisian hooks both are great. You can extend your cord.
Beautiful projects!
Hi boys in answer to your question yes you say candy we in the UK say sweets, love the show keep up the great work love Julie xxxx
Hi from Torrington, CT!! I can’t believe I only just found your channel! Happy to tune in 😊🙌🏼
Hiya! Always great hearing from people from CT. Thank you so much for checking out the channel and commenting, we really appreciate it.
Great vlog seen me through insomnia Ray looks good in his Stephen west shawl very cowboy western
I agree with one of your commentators definitely Cardi & wooly pulley
I call sheep in the field wooly jumpers & cows milk shakers 😂😂😂
I only recently started watching your podcast. I’m enjoying it.
I’ll be at Nash Fest too. First trip to Nashville. See you there.
Thank you so much for watching Fern. It should be a great show, definitely say hi if you see us there.
Kevin, I knit a lot of socks but I have never done an afterthought heel. I would love for you to post a video of how you do it as you get to the 8 inch mark on the leg and add your markers for the afterthought heel. I’d love to see a video on how you do it
I'll see if I can record a video once I get to my next heel.
You are absolutely correct when you speak about how we say numbers! Using the filler “and” in mathematics implies that a decimal is being used. Being specific in the way we communicate using numbers is attending to precision and is one of the standards for mathematical practice that the National Council of Teachers Mathematics emphasizes.
I guess the standards have changed since I went to school. I would never use “and” to denote a decimal point (it means addition to me). I would use “point” to denote a decimal point. I live in the US and have a master’s degree in math and am a retired statistician. Thank you Ray and Kevin for another great podcast!
@ you are also correct! Adding actually is exactly what you are doing when you say “and” when you are describing (verbalizing) a whole number that also includes a partial number. Being precise in language provides clarity for the listener. Yes, it is true that you can also say point, but there is a level of translation that the listener must process to understand that “point”= decimal= additional partial numbers where as saying “and” automatically tells the listener that what follows is additional to what has already been stated.
I’m currently researching and writing my dissertation for my Doctorate of Education on effective methods for teaching content specific vocabulary in mathematics to students who are simultaneously learning English and grade-level content. The English language and its layers of connotations and implications in usage are vast and can add unnecessary layers of cognitive work for anyone in mathematics. This is why NCTM specifies that attending to precision is crucial to success in mathematics.
@@calebaustin8343 Very interesting and thank you for elaborating.
Talking about old whips, I have just finished two months of knitted commissions & have my whips in bags & can't remember the pattern! Lol But I am currently working on a two year old whip & have decided to turn it into a Jethro Sweater. Yay
After all your sock talk.....am so eager to cast on my first self striping socks! Thanks for the inspiration! I look forward to your most informative podcast.
Yay, hope you have fun making them. The stripes tend to make you want to keep going.
Love your spin! Beautiful!
Thank you Michelle!
Kevin, your handspun is gorgeous. Well done! I’ll be at Nash Yarn Fest. I hope to see you both there.
In the 1970s my sister made many afghans with a 24” long afghan crochet hook (now Tunisian)
Another Brit here, I love that you use ' cookie', instead of our biscuit.
And I like that you say biscuit for cookie!
In the United States we say,,, we are going on vacation. In Europe thy say, we are going on holiday.
Love the use of holiday!
I am making the tin can mittens right now. Using two strands of fingering weight yarn because I have a LOT of fingering weight yarn and need to use it up.
HOO hoo - Nashville Yarn Fest keeps getting better and better. I hope to run into you again (I’ll be bringing my “boys” photo with me for some travel time and to hopefully get signed as we haven’t been out together since MD Sheep and Wool!)
I am curious, Ray, what length you have to make your heel flap for a heel flap and gusset. I’m trying to assess whether 5 founds before starting decreases on an afterthought heel will be enough. I need to add 1 1/2 “ before starting a shadow wrap heel.
I love the American "sidewalk" - that makes so much sense,. In England, it's called a "pavement" - I did a quick google, it's Latin for beaten floor. Sidewalk is much nicer!
I kept a list of British words that differ from American words. A couple I remember are: boiler suit is overalls, a plaster is a bandaid, braces are suspenders, of course jumper is a sweater and a biscuit is a cookie.
Oh wow, love boiler suit, never heard that before.
Hi Kevin and Ray, couldn’t think of a US word until Kevin said basil (bay-sil, from 🏴 and I would say ‘baz-il’ I thought yes herbs ( think
You guys may say ‘erbs’??. I also like cilantro instead of corinander … also randomly I prefer ‘thumbtack’ to ‘drawing pin’ . Loved the NATR hand dyed yarn 🧶 ❤❤
Thanks for sharing, we love when people pronounce the "h" in herbs.
I’ll be in Nashville! See you there!! If you have the chance, try some BBQ at Puckett’s Grocery. ❤
With your Tunisian crochet project, try working with the fabric sitting on a table in front of you so that the weight of the project is supported. It will help with the wrist strain.
The hand cramping is likely because the hook is short for your hands. Maybe look for an interchangeable set that has a longer wooden or metal hook part.
So happy you got your surprise bags and that you love them! Enjoy my friends .
I am really sorry to hear that you are not dying Demeter fingering any more. One of my all time favorite yarns.
I love that base too, wish I had space to keep it.
Lol I was going to say boot etc but the one I love the most is I think in the US you call it an undershirt where as here in Australia we call it a singlet you call it a sidewalk we call it a pavement, you call them crisps we call everything chips
2:15 i am Latvian, UK resident for 19 years. From what I hear, they would actually say One Twenty Eight for 128 😄 took me a long time to get it because when people say it like that, to my brain, they should mean the number 1.28 😂😅 discussing prices with Brits is pain for me, so I evolved in my English language to automatically say it as a proper number, example they say "it cost me only Three Twenty Five!" I immediately "ask" ( not to sound rude as if I corrected them) "really, Three hundreds Twenty Five!" 😂 so in that case they can confirm or correct 😂 (because they could mean it not as £325, but as £3.25. So confusing 😅
Hello Kevin and Ray, from Swansea, Illinois.❤❤❤❤
Ray wood hooks like knitting needles are a little stickier then metal so I would think your stitches on your hook are sticking so the metal will probably make it much easier to use
Hooray! I’m going to Nashville too.
Yay!! Should be a lot of fun.
