Interesting hearing you talk about Star Trek not being that popular in the the late 60s and 70s. I was a student in Leeds in the early 70s and the only TV was in the common room of my college. That room was always full on the evenings when Star Trek was shown. So students were on to it pretty early. Love the randomness of your conversations.
I’ve always thought Kay was younger. I’m not sure it matters at all who is older. Y’all are a great couple.☺️ Kay I think your blanket square idea is marvelous! I think I may crochet up a lot of my extra yarn in my stash, then sort it into groups to make a few different blankets. I’ve always wanted a blanket that was fall themed. I would also enjoy having a blanket with bright colors and neon, and use black for a border for a Stainglass look. Thank you so much for the inspiration. I hope y’all have a lovely weekend. we are having crazy weather here in North Carolina. There is ice and snow on our pond and it is 72°. Absolutely crazy.
My next door neighbour is Billy King former drummer from the band Lighthouse and he makes drums now.. I think he was their drummer only for one year. It's cool to see him out there sanding away and then you'll see him using his walker to go to the post office to mail out the drum to the new owner!! Happy drumming Dan!
I love Stairway to Heaven, 1st song on my Playlist for the treadmill. Then of course Hotel California, Enter Sandman- Metalicca, the Unforgiven- Metallica, and then to round of the treadmill portion Smooth by Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas. "Music is the Voice of the Soul"
Hi there, love your show, you are my knitting companion while I knit socks, I am only on sock number 5, and still learning, but have become obsessed. I must tell you though, 😂😂, I am in south africa , and currently our daily temperatures are about 32 degrees celsius, so definitely won't be wearing socks of any kind 😂, but they're a small enough project to knit while sitting with my fan blowing .
Great show as ever. Dan's drum talk made me want to point him at my favourite drummer - Paul Banwatt of Rural Alberta Advantage. I'd love to hear what you think, Dan 😊🎶
I'm looking forward to the sweetie sock pattern, just lovely!
Your show is truly a joy to watch. So inspiring!

I so agree! Christopher Reeves is the ONLY Superman!!

I bought all 4 of the Winnie the Pooh mini sets too. 😂
I agree Christopher Reeves was a great Superman. Henry Cavell is an excellent close second.
If you like Christopher Reeves, you need to watch somewhere in Time. You will love it. ❤it is very interesting about the book the story comes from.
❤ for knitted socks from someone with size 10 feet plus high arches. Most store bought women's socks fit sizes 5 to 9.
Couldn’t agree with you more re Pixie Yarns.
I love all your hats and future hat plans!! Is this your pattern? Is it available on Ravelry?
Dan is turning 15?😊
