Ryan Garcia is now the face of boxing, after almost getting the knockout on Devin Haney but winning via decision he is now a superstar, but what do we make of it? how has it all evolved since Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta tank Davis? And Is Ryan Garcia a genius or not?

I do think Ryan is unhinged as the topics he’s been going on about are not some thing you joke about, but there are a lot I mean a lot of mentally unstable fighters in boxing but it’s boxing which keeps them just on the right side of slipping into a complete mental break down. Hainey is well known for blowing up on purpose come fight night. For the fight against Ryan he came in at 160 pounds to Ryan coming in at 150 and still it done Hainey no favours. boxing is a show, but one where you can get hurt, and all your efforts can be "deluded" by friends, acquaintances, and vices, so be alert young man, and keep a close eye on your "friends and advisors".

Another of boxings big ass problems come to light here, how the boxing world is celebrating this dude when hes a clear cheat is beyond me, if you cant make weight or intentionally (As seems to be the case) avoid making weight giving yourself a huge advantage then plain and simply you should be removed from the card and replaced with a back up fighter. All these combat sports moving away from fair competition in favour of making a quick buck by backing these loud, obnoxious cheats to the moon is just killing these sports

A few things I think that don't seem to be talked about much:
    - weight bullied him, looked much bigger on fight night
    - didn't care about the belt so gladly missed weight as he knew a "win" with or without belts is much better for his profile and SoMe career
    - don't think he had an amazing disciplined camp, he did seem to fade in the latter rounds

Ryan knew Haney couldn’t hurt him so it’d just be target practice for him. He probably believed Haney couldn’t handle his speed, he was right. He was so confident and he drank through it, came in hung over, and did him worse than Tank did Haney when he beat him up hung over

Alerts the world to a bunch of horrible stuff that's genuinely happening, knew it would make him look mental so used it to his advantage, bet on himself and made millions - and became this biggest fighter in the world in the process. If that's not a genius level play I don't know what is.

Even if he didn't use another person to place the bet, it wouldn't matter so long as he was betting on himself to WIN. If he tried to bet on himself LOSING, it'd be highly suspicious and look like a total fix and that's why a book would probably not even bother taking the action because it'd just be a headache.
But if someone is betting on themselves to win that's no different than anyone else betting on themselves in any given situation.

@@akaInfamous no pal, you don't understand that Haney is a champion in a catch-weight division. Under the original 8 weight classes this fight would have been at Welterweight at 147 because both fighters missed the middleweight limit. If you think 3lbs of shit in your system makes that much more of an advantage your having a laugh. On the unofficial weigh in the day of the fight Haney weighed more than Garcia. Garcia came in at 153 and Haney came in at 156. Fucking smackhead 🤣🤣🤣
