Welcome back Tiebreak fans for another Steam Early Access update - five is alive!
We have to say we are really pleased with the response and feedback we received for TIEBREAK Early Access 4, it was great to see the positive feedback regarding the progress made in several areas of the game.
While we love the positive feedback, we also note and address the negative feedback as it is just as important to making a better game, and we know that the majority of you were not happy with the addition of the adrenaline system. After public discussion and consultation on the TIEBREAK forums and Steam, we have decided to remove it from the game for this Early Access 5. It is our hope with this update that you will see that we have continued taking on and working with your feedback to push the game to its limits. You rest assured that we will continue to work on and improve with each update as we approach final release.
Early Access 5 heralds the introduction of Star Player Career (One Season, for feedback) and a Movement and Groundstroke revamp, plus eight additional ATP / WTA player
Sofia Kenin
Jessica Pegula
Aryna Sabalenka
Caroline Wozniacki
Kei Nishikori
Holger Rune
Cameron Norrie
Andrey Rublev
While we have your attention here, we’d like to shout out to the many new fans that have joined us on the forums to give feedback, we’re so pleased to have you all onboard - please keep that feedback coming!
The final release of TIEBREAK (on August 22nd, 2024) will include the ability to play a career with custom players, in addition to Star Player Career Mode. In the meantime, TIEBREAK Early Access releases will introduce even more new players, WTA finals, press conferences for Star Player Career Mode and gameplay improvements (of course!).
We would like to remind those that have not purchased TIEBREAK Early Access that the final price will be €49.99, and in line with that, there will be a price increase to €39.99 on 10 June 2024.
Lastly, there has been a lot of feedback on the smaller details such as line judges, ball kids, and a challenge system, these will certainly be included in future updates, but for now our focus is the core gameplay and implementing change based on the TIEBREAK experience you have shared with us.
Thank you! We’ll see you on the court!
The Tiebreak Team
i have early acess on pc when full game comes do i need to pay again?
@@teliakos No...
Big improvement with movement on baseline and love the ball speed,i am sure animations will improve further before console release, very happy with the progress. No way am i buying topspin 2k25 as the rallies look so boring after a while even though the animations are very good.
Gameplay need a massive improvement still
this IS a massive improvement over even a month ago, different game to two months ago. It plays well now, serving still sucks though.
So much igual shots and points
If you haven't tried yet, try using scramble for EVERY shot. Both triggers at the same time. It makes the game so much more fluent, it's almost like a movement assist. Way less backhand lobs happening if you do this, running shots it's practically required. This should be 'default', imo.
better than before but still need to improve animations and ball physics
Will be buying this game because of the deep career mode but how will the console and PC versions compare?
Well to me it looks….’better’, but how does it feel to play movement wise?
Do AI have individual play styles now?
I see rallies still far too long with too many shots painting the lines, be interested to hear your general impressions
Movement wise there is still a lot of awkward movements and animations. I don't know if there will ever be any individual play styles, they never managed to do this in their previous tennis games, all players just ended up playing the same way
@@JohnnyDGaming89 That would be a shame, but I'm not sure they could get motion captures and signature moves for every 120 players of their roster if we are realistic. Hopefully a few of them at least... Or maybe they could add them on the go after release if they follow their game and really wants to make it the best, and not some kind of yearly money grabber as TS2K25.
Does anyone know if Rybakina will appear in the game?
Players running animations and pace / placements really needs more work. Too fast and sometimes it feels like they're running in every direction like beheaded chickens to get the ball.
Imagine thew have atop spin gameplay😮😮
If
What are your thoughts on it?
It's still a long way from being a good tennis game, despite the claims of a revamp for movement and groundstrokes, there's still a lot of awkward movements and animations
Players looks too fast, what makes rallies too long and unreal… It gotta change!
It's a clunk fest 😂
Players looks too fast... idk
The players run very robotics...
