I think what we all want is realistic Tennis game, where it feels like you are playing with the real player. For example, in crunch time, I want Djokovic's accuracy, power speed to increase at times randomly. I want you to feel almost helpless when you play against an alcaraz where he's running almost everything down and you have to adjust the way you play him. I want federer to hit absolute magic, but sometimes just shank a backhand. If you are playing career mode I want a players confidence/attributes to dip if he just lost a grandslam final against the same opponent he's playing against, depending on their resilancy stats. If you are playing against Hurkacz I want him to be a full blown serve bot where its hard to win any return points or get your racket on. And I know, all of this sounds too much. But you asked me what I wanted, this is the kind of game I want.
That would be awesome! As is, Tiebreak struggles to get any CPU player to return short or high balls, not to mention lacking replication of player tendencies 😬 But I don't think having such expectations is too much. Other sports games can achieve that level of simulation with players personalization, perks, animations, tendencies. No reason for tennis fans to expect less.
Serving, net play volleys, chasing lobs. Possibly prior to serving you can select serve and volley so the player automatically sprints to the net and you control the direction of running.
The more i see of this game the better it looks. At first i thought it looked horrible but the devs seem to be actually working hard and it doesn’t seem like a poorly made cashgrab like the other bigant games, i’ll definitely consider buying this one. Also a lot of people hating are just 2K simps
Very good video.Looking forward to picking this game up on PS5 the studio will improve the game going forward but we must support them with descent sales. This game is better than Topspin 2k25
I'm from the future: - Serve was improved. It may need some improvements but it feels way more natural - Animations have better transitions in between - Stamina system is still the same. It shouldn't recover fully after every point. - We have now "legacy" controller mode to play like in previous and common games - CPU is not that unreal anymore but i wish CPU players get "better mistakes" - Online is still broken Yes, it's way better now and they clarify a lot of the new patches but there's a lot to do
I wish developer could add serve and volley , and approach shot / slice and approachto the net. Tiebreak lack of this kind of shot..nobody notice? This shot is essential to make the game feels like playing real tennis. Topspin 2k25 even with bad rooster have approch shot
Great video again. I agree with everything. Something else l suggest is the following. Even on hard or expert, the CPU turns into to a novice at the net. On easy winning shots at the net, the CPU either puts the ball in the net or gives a weak return. Instead of making the CPU challenging on hard and expert with the CPU returning almost everything, l prefer if the CPU didn't get to every ball but instead was more aggressive at the net with easy shots or put away weak returns by the player. This game has the potential to be very good. The content is already amazing. The serve is the number one priority like you said. The serves need to be dangerous. It should be hard to break someone's serve. Right now, the serve is just a rally starter. Not only the power of the serve is important but also being able to control the location. Ideally, we should be worried about the CPU having a big server on expert.
The players look very good, and there is plenty of them, that's a big plus. The courts as well, not sure if this aspect is better than top spin tho, but the animations don't really look smooth to me, especially the movement of the players, might feel different while playing, and I have the impression that you can put up power shots very easily. The importance of the timing in top spin is a good thing imo and allow you to win points even without power shots, if your timing is right. So right now, I have to admit I'm not convinced by TieBreak, might try it out to confirm or not my opinion
It's just something devs added - some like it, some don't. I discuss this in the first chapter of the video (serving). I hope developers add a toggle option in the settings for this animation in future patches.
The game will never be good until they shed the origional AO Tennis movement. Movement is everything in tennis games. The shot making could be the best ever and the game would still suck becuase of crappy movement
What would you like to be improved before Tiebreak's full release?

It seems like the people who have the strongest negative opinions about Tiebreak have actually never played it, lol.

You make nice points!
I like the idea of CPU being more punishing/aggressive rather than everything-returning on higher difficulties!

1:32 Camera on the right keeps appearing and disappearing.
How can do serve good ? I always fault
Really nice video! Agreed!
Tennis Elbow 4 vs Full Ace Tennis Simulator? Comment if you have an opinion 😊
EARLY ACCESS 6 has arrived
They just changed the lunging(defensive) animation yesterday its much better now, they also reduced players speed while sprinting
Really? I can't find any info about that on steam or official forums. Do you have perhaps some link to info about that?
@@machetegaming just install the last update and try it yourself you'll notice it right away
@@GO7DENB00T Strange there's literally 0 info about that.
Thanks for the heads up! :)
I'm still unsure if I should buy the game now or wait untill release, but I do really like how it's improving.
I think if you're not convinced then maybe it's better to wait until the game is more fleshed out.
Question i haven’t played this but why does it zoom in on serves, looks kind of annoying

Ball physic here definitely better than topspin. It's looks more satisfying
