The game isnt running at 20 fps or less on the Xbox one. Digital foundry did a video and GTA 5 stayed at 30 fps. It only dipped on xbox 360 which became choppy.

The only thing I would have liked to see was a render test in jets. If you’re in say a starling trying to hit someone on the ground with a missile and they don’t render in it’s a huge pain. You tested the max distance but if it runs everything smoother would they actually render in before you have to pull up?

I got up to level 100 in Xbox360 back in 2013.. To me was the Best version.. I couldnt believe how they manage to push the Xbox 360;that far.. It's easily the Best looking game on x360
anything from Intel HD series is gonna run Minecraft at ~25-30fps, the UHD series will run it at ~30-40, the Iris Plus series will run it at ~35-45, and the Iris Xe series will run it at ~120-200fps

They could be playing at 20FPS and Online would still be better than PC due to the lack of mod menus locking you in an explosion loop or kicking you out of the game entirely. It's sad, but GTA Online on PC is a cesspool.

@@DK-gl3ih Xbox basically patched pulling IP’s through Xbox parties, the only way someone can get your IP is if your in a p2p game like gta or if your IP is in a database lookup like xresolver, six siege is a server based game not p2p but people still try ddosing the servers or if your on xresolver people will look you up on there.
It's a shame more developers don't go in and change this to 60 fps for backwards compatible titles. I wouldn't even mind if they kept the textures, resolution and post-processing the same.

I'm interested to see how GTA Online will perform on the official re-release of the game. If performance improves how I'd imagine it will, the boost in FPS and render distance will make everything a ton more easier and smooth, and make full public lobbies much more manageable. We need dedicated servers, too. P2P is so 2005.
@@benblack9007 For PC go to resource monitor (Hold windows key and r at the same time then type "resmon") then go to the 3rd tab, find GTA V, and suspend it for 10-12 seconds, then resume it. On Xbox just run an NAT test iirc. Not sure how to do it on ps4
This game was first released on ps3 and Xbox 360. When it got enhanced for PS4 and Xbox one it ran incredibly well, then after a couple years the systems started struggling running a game that had a crap load of content.

Bro the next gen console look like they want to go way higher than 30. It litterally breaks the hard cap like every 2 seconds. It was trying to go to 33 FPS on a hard cap that’s means there was 3 denials to the console to stop but it still kept going. The next gen could probably reach 90-120fps
Being one of the games I know of that run 1080p on Xbox One compared to the usual 900p, running at a mostly stable 30fps anyway, I imagine it would run amazing uncapped on Series X/S

A few friends of mine who used to gamble on the console and are now on the PC also say that 30 fps is somehow better on the Console. On the PC, 30 fps are really unplayable for me, but on the console it's alright. It's probably because of some special console optimizations or something else
They could be playing at 20FPS and Online would still be better than PC due to the lack of mod menus locking you in an explosion loop or kicking you out of the game entirely. It's sad, but GTA Online on PC is a cesspool.

@@DK-gl3ih Xbox basically patched pulling IP’s through Xbox parties, the only way someone can get your IP is if your in a p2p game like gta or if your IP is in a database lookup like xresolver, six siege is a server based game not p2p but people still try ddosing the servers or if your on xresolver people will look you up on there.

I'm interested to see how GTA Online will perform on the official re-release of the game.
If performance improves how I'd imagine it will, the boost in FPS and render distance will make everything a ton more easier and smooth, and make full public lobbies much more manageable.

@@benblack9007 For PC go to resource monitor (Hold windows key and r at the same time then type "resmon") then go to the 3rd tab, find GTA V, and suspend it for 10-12 seconds, then resume it. On Xbox just run an NAT test iirc. Not sure how to do it on ps4

This game was first released on ps3 and Xbox 360. When it got enhanced for PS4 and Xbox one it ran incredibly well, then after a couple years the systems started struggling running a game that had a crap load of content.
I can't play at 30 fps anymore, I've been playing at 75 fps for like 3 years now, anything under 60 hurts to watch
once you get a 144hz monitor anything under lik 110fps hurts

Bro the next gen console look like they want to go way higher than 30. It litterally breaks the hard cap like every 2 seconds. It was trying to go to 33 FPS on a hard cap that’s means there was 3 denials to the console to stop but it still kept going. The next gen could probably reach 90-120fps
