White Knight Chronicles 1 & 2 for the PS3, was a great Action RPG that was Open World and you fight using skill and skill points. The First White knight Chronicles International Edition, had online gameplay similar to Final Fantasy 14. Rogue Galaxy for PS2 had beyond its time gameplay, with zero loading times during gameplay except when it loads a new chapter with movie like cutscenes.
Funny - I played 11 of the 15 games you named, and would probably had played more of them if they where also on the PC platform. Hidden gems? Blue Reflection - Second Light, Atelier Sophie 2, Dusk Diver 1 and 2, Asterigos - Curse Of The Stars, Harvestella, Lichdom Battlemage, Shadows Awakening, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ (and maybe the complete Trails series from Nihom Falcom) to name a few.

I just dont have time like i use to...im gonna try and get the longer ones done first like persona 5 and most of the classic final fantasys etc...just so many...and trails of the cold steel series i haven't even touched..its maddening lol

Scarlet Nexus and Trials of Mana are fantastic games. I truly wanna see a successor of Scarlet Nexus. The combat was top notch. Resonance of Fate is on my wishlist now. If Vanillaware ever decides to port a game/their games to PC I will play it/them as well.

It broke my suspension of disbeliefwhe the character invited me into a cafe the next day, after i tried to kill their friend twice. "Hey i know you tried to kill him but would you mind to drink a coffee?" Like TF
@KurosakiRuka The chars talked too much for saying just a few useful things. But as I liked the gameplay a lot (probably after FF7 Remake my favorite combat system in JRPGs) I could overlook many flaws in the story or conversations.
Trials of Mana and Ni No Kuni 1 are both classic titles that are recommended. Valkyrie Chronicles 4 is a surprisingly deep and strategic RPG game - still on backlog status for me but worth playing down the line.The same goes for YS 8 - a title I have on backlog as well and will eventually complete. I wanna play Scarlet Nexus and Star Ocean Divine Force but it's not on Switch unfortunately.
Glad I saw this. Odin Sphere was on sale for 80% off with the Black Friday sales on PSN. Just added it to my account. I had the PS2 version and want to try the upgrade. Also bought Scarlet Nexus and Code Vein in a double pack also 80% off on Steam. Budget gaming FTW!
Surprised you didn't mention NEO: The World Ends With You or Megaton Mushashi Wired. Those had HORRIBLE marketing yet turned out so fantastic, that it was absolutely criminal that they didn't get more love, even by their own publishers!! However, major props for mentioning Trails of Mana and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Those two are/were hella great titles.
If there's any game on this list that you should seriously consider it's a mortal Fenix Rising and make sure that you pick the female character to play unlike all the other games they try to release this one's actually meant to have the woman lead and it works so good so so good you can thank me later
I do not understand why people call Immortal Fenix an RPG. You do not level up, you do not have a party to speak of, development tree is limited. It is much more an action adventure game with platform elements.
I liked Kingdoms of Amalur but I really thought I would love it. When I started playing and saw the vibrant colors and whimsical music, I thought it was going to be my favorite game. But it just lacked so much of what made Skyrim special. The lore was just too much and not presented in an interesting manner. And there was really no reason to explore, like hidden areas or fun secrets. In Skyrim, I wanted to check in every house and behind every waterfall. But KoA didn't have anything like that. Also, they really went for quantity over quality. They could have cut the content down to 1/4th of what they had and just made it more compelling.
I spent 60 hours in amalurs first zone lol great game and combat but absolutely terrible storyline. Its shameful ra salvatore wrote it cuz hes my fave author
I wanted to like Immortal pheonix rising, but its boring to me, and the characters are usually to small looking. Not mention boring environmental puzzles.

Definitely recommend Atelier Ryza! I had a lot of fun with that one, played it exclusively on the Switch's handheld mode and it performs flawlessly.

Kingdoms of amalur is awesome! So much in that game and the newest Star ocean is really fun too. Great list! Gotta try some of the others !

Playing through Final Fantasy XIII on PlayStation 3 for the first time as I completely skipped the PlayStation 3 era.
I do not understand why people call Immortal Fenix an RPG. You do not level up, you do not have a party to speak of, development tree is limited. It is much more an action adventure game with platform elements.
