Prepare first, pay attention on your shot, more spin, hit deep, forward, keep your eyes on the ball... it is interesting to see what the world's best player is told from her coach is not much different from what I, a mere mortal recreational player, am told from my coach. it tells me no magic, but her hard works on executing basic fundamentals has created her magic.

Knowing what to do and doing it are two different things. If you ever watch your coach play tennis, you think, "Hold it. He's not doing what he's teaching me to do." Executing is difficult.

1:29 - Now that is world class champion execution. She pays attention to all the details. Chest up, arch'd back, elbow high, arm and shoulder BEHIND her, racket literally on knife's edge, turn of the wrist, doing everything in her power to increase leverage, and then that awesome wrist flip release. Her eye/hand coordination is excellent.

I would have loved to been able to watch Serenas matches in its entirety but I couldn't stand the high decibels when she played.
Especially when it was a Sharapova vs Serena match. Was always mesmerized by boths dominant plays, athleticism and beauty but couldn't bear to hear the screams of effort they put into each shot.

I'm not a Serena stan by any measure, but guys. It's clay. Once you play and run on clay, you'll know not to go full throttle on it. It can be dangerous. Two, she's probably either already played a mock match or did her fitness training before this coaching session. She's never anywhere near this slow in match play. And finally, from what I saw, she's still got it. I mean, you're free to have an opinion, but I feel like it's a lot less valid if you've never hit the courts.

She was most unstoppable in years 2002-2003 and again 2012-2013, hopefully she’ll repeat the (last) cycle again… 2022 - 2023? or was it only wishful thinking? can’t argue the fact she’s getting old 🤔🤔

No I like the way you thinking, I hope and pray that your wishful thinking will come through.
