Wow, that's an incredible big academy. It has its own hotel too! The amount of money it costs to build that facility must be staggering. No wonder Patrick is constantly trying to get face time in every media outlet that he can. He's just everywhere. And sometimes more coverage than the players. He's like tennis's big brother.
Congratulations...most of us tennis coaches don´t have the opportunity to spend the time with so high level team. there´s SO MUCH to learn ...keep posting your jorney!! Greetings from Brazil!
What an enjoyable content, the storytelling was on point and the rhythm of the video was spot on. Beautiful place and beautiful experiences for anyone involved in tennis. Lovely to witness the inspiration Felix is for young players around the globe…
Thanks Michele, it was definitely my favourite video to create so far. It was so special seeing how much it meant to the kids to meet Felix and watch his practices!
Post all of the footage. I would love to see all of it including normal or boring stuff that people do on train days! Daily diary stuff, going to shops, the local area etc would also be interesting to see.
Awesome video Ashley. What an amazing academy, so well-equipped. It's fun to follow this exciting journey you're on with your top client and rising star Felix.
love this video! super cool to see more of the BTS of felix's videos and mouratoglou as a whole. Also loved the editing style, voiceovers, and chill music. subscribed :)
There must have been a few things you just thought "yes, that's great, I never thought of it that way but it really works". Perhaps at some point in the future you could do video's about them mixing any MTA footage with your own take on it. For me I love those magical moments where a coach tells you something and it just clicks.
Fantastic Ashley, it's so cool to see you guys doing good and training a lot, I really want to go to Patrick's academy one day! Hope to see you guys there ❤
Thank you very much for sharing Tennis Mentor. I didnt know Mouratoglou academy was that big and well organized. Please share More perhaps about the drills you did there and what about the cost for a week?
Solid content and style. One thing, please don't make the background music so loud in places, as it makes it hard to hear your commentary. Aside from that, keep smashing it.
New to the channel. I follow Felix. Great video. Keep up the great content and work. I really think Felix needs to adopt the more aggressive game style that he was playing against AP. Long-term I believe its his best bet for success. Take care.
I would love to see some detailed footage of warm-ups, workouts in the gym, and even some cool-downs. If you don't have this footage it is all good. Thank you!
Really awesome content! I'd like to see more detailed practice sessions in one of your next videos. Only con was the background music that was so loud; it actually covered your narrating and there are no subs for the video to compensate for it!
Thanks Dennis, you should enjoy next week’s video as it is an on court session with WTA 250. Sorry about the music, it sounded good in my headphones… I’ll check twice next time! Maybe I can add subtitles after? I’ll check!
I really appreciate the fact that you take feedback into consideration for future videos. I noticed you mentioned the WTA player session that will be covered, keep on making such videos. You may also make some with recreational players, it is really challenging to help non-pros become better players.
@@TheTennisMentor Watching in youtube we can turn on the subtitles.... No need for you to do anything. The button sits on the bottom right of the screen along with 5 others. Turn subtitles on or off.
I was there in 1992 when it was the Sophia Antipolis tennis club and trained for a couple weeks and later played French national tournaments. I'm really curious. What did your week there cost to train? I had 4 hours a day coached/trained for about $300 for 5 days...$600 for 2 weeks. There was only me and 2 french players. I didn't stay at the hotel. One day I arrived and was locking up my scooter and right behind me walked Stefan Edberg to practice. He was amazing to watch, but what a weird forehand with that continental grip!
I am a tennis coach myself. recently moved from South Africa to the UK. Would love to here the chats you and felix shared during his match. How you approach it and so on
Great video Ash. I think it's great that you are open minded enough to look outside and beyond for ideas and inspiration. It really is a great facility; and I really miss their coffee 🙂
can u talk about what kind of coaches is and how do they coach... in a more learning style not video fun style... i am more interested in how the coaches use different method to teach their student
Hello Ashley. Great video. I hope you're well. I'm Carl and one of the players at Fishbourne. We played against you this summer! Not sure if I mentioned it but I'm a filmmaker producing all sorts of content for clients so do let me know if I can ever help out with any of your filming.
What Popyrin did for Felix was force him to blast forehands. Because Felix had no choice and knew the point was never going to be under his control unless he swung harder off that wing. He was forced to hit harder. You could see him force himself to make that adjustment. He probably could have won another game or two by dropshotting, but that would have been disrespectful to Popyrin who was gracious enough to give him a fair hit.
Absolutely love the content. Just hopefully a little bit of constructive criticism. when that little kid giving a shout out for felix the background music absolutely covering what he is saying which is a shame. edit: Can I also add how absolutely buff Felix had become? The S&C work is showing!
Thank you, my error, it sounded good with my headphones in, I should have listened through without them also! (I was very keen to get it out on my usual Saturday!) Thanks for watching 🤜

Really gradtful for this. Looking forward to much more as you said. So I was the unknown elite protégé of Nick Bolletieri’s back in 1985 along with Agassi, Courier, Wheaton and Blackman, but I quit as I just couldn’t live like that anymore. Long story. But…mental skills and applications were a BIG part of our training. I’d love to know what they teach to aspiring players on the mental game. I look at hundreds of players who are just ranked at the futures level and I rarely see a player who has perfected his mental game. I see lots of great strokes…but so much bad shot selection and weak mental usage. I’d love to see felix reach his goals and potential. Best to you both and after 37 years of not playing tennis I am back re training so I can become 60’s ITF Singles World Champion. Here’s a video of me at a recent M15 qualifying match. Thanks again. ua-cam.com/video/v8grYOaPmk0/v-deo.html
Popyrin was able to beat players like Musetti, Sinner, and Cilic before so it’s good to know that Felix is doing good against someone like Popyrin!
The sound of his serve indoors 😳💥🎾
Seeing Felix with the kids is adorable!

Do you rate cardio for tennis? How does it help? I've completely neglected it since playing tennis as main sport.
Tennis itself is a good form of cardio so. I would add cardio if you feel that it’s a weakness in your game.
