+JaxRailfanner Thanks man! This was one of the few times I got a horn show from an Acela. Usually they're going too fast for the engineer to see me waving! :D
That train race between those two ACS-64's was awesome.....looked like the train on the far track had the upper hand but then the other one really gained on him at the end. Sweet vid Scott!
+Rainier Rails Thank you very much! The NEC is fantastic. As much as I enjoy seeing freight trains, the freight lines in my area are a hit and a miss. I go to the NEC, I'm guaranteed to see several trains. And as you can see from this video, you never know what you're going to get! Hope ya get to go someday!
Nick The Train Guy I live in New Brunswick New Jersey and I saw a lot of trains on the Northeast Corridor back in the seventies in the early eighties include the gg1 e44 E60 and the arrows and owls and diesels & Freight
It seems like most of the NJ Transit trains have the locomotive pushing them. Here in Boston, the commuter rail trains are only pushed when they're going back to Boston. Also, what Amtrak train was that at 9:14? It's not common to see Amtrak trains with push-pull. I know there's the Vermonter and the Springfield-New Haven Shuttle, but what's that one?
Yeah a lot of the NJT trains have the locomotive pushing. I see that on a lot of their lines around where I live. As far as the Amtrak at 9:14, I think that was a Northeast Regional train
@@TheNomadicRailfan just some constructive criticism... Great video I'm from Canada and it's always neat to see Amtrak and other foreign railways. Whenever the trains would pass your camera a ton of shaking would occur. The platform is probably at fault but in the future try to consider holding the tripod or something idk. Happy New Year.
Fantastic video with great transition shots and great music at the end.
I find it odd that every Acela in this video was going slow, while ACS64-hauled trains went really fast!
Haha, right? Thanks for watching!
Awesome catches! I like that horn show at the beginning and that race was cool! Another great NEC video!

+Norfolk Southern ES44AC Thanks Dan!
The NEC is definitely on the bucket list. Great video!

Fantastic video and great song at the end
Crossing over from track 3 to track two at county interlocking I would love to see gg1&p5&steam&mu&all above
Fantastic video man!! That race was amazing, I wonder who would actually win even though there both the same! :)
+Union Pacific 1982 Thanks Andrey! I've railfanned the NEC several times now and this was the first time I saw trains racing :D

+The Nomadic Railfan It might have been a Keystone. Because Northeast Regional doesn't do push-pull.
LarcenTyler Oh ok. I'm not too familiar with Amtrak operations lol
Very Nice!
Thanks!
Trains > Football
