The doors of la metro open then close pretty quick so you gotta get on. I love la metro I mean they are like every 5 min and one side goes one way the other goes the other way. So efficient
I was here yesterday. On the Red/Purple line platform, a violent fight broke out between a man and a woman. The woman was trying to shove the man, and the man was repeatedly yelling at her. Evan after security came in, they were still trying to attack each other, and the man kept yelling "you are guilty of assault". All while I was standing there waiting for the stupid train. Oh, and on the Light Rail platform there was a man running around in circles, off balance (probably high), who was yelling at himself and was scaring anyone within 10 feet of him. Very wild day! 🙁🙁🙁
Haha 0:20 -- why do people somehow manage to time it so that they manage to just reach the platform, as the doors have finished closing? Never a "just got on in time", or a "the train's already moving", it's always just as the door closes.
The next stop is Pershing Square, the elevator has been broken for over a year, and people in wheel chairs are forced onto escalators (moving stairs) instead, very dangerous
Not exactly, the light rail lines travel too quickly to be classified as trams. For example, the Green Line can travel at highway speeds and stations are usually spaced miles apart.
I would call the light rails in LA a dual mode although they do run at grade across intersections they're also a like a light regional rail system that can go miles as a matter of fact the blue line is currently The longest light rail system in the world beating the one in Belgium by just a few miles! 🚊

I like trains especially the blue line
The four light rail lines are basically trams and the two heavy rail lines are subways/underground/ real metro from what I understand

Da trains sound just li,e da ones in dc
Did the power shut off at 7:45?
sort of.
+Fan Railer These trains Sound alot like the WMATA 1000 Series Trains
How long are the platforms? Can they accommodate trains longer than 6 cars?
I don't think so. 6 cars should be max.
Why does every train have that sound effect when the train stops and goes. Mostly the Asian trains.
why do the subway trains and expo line trains sound like they do?
If you mean the horns, they tried to replicate the horn sound of the LA street cars in the early 1900's as an homage.
Its almost like the new bart in sf bay
