This is awesome! I would love to have an easy-to-install mod like this for my BB unit to make it feel more "real" and life-like! Keep up the great work!
I thought about designing K9 at one point and then making a mode where he follows you. The 'follow' concept could be super neat. Would have to be distance based and signal based. Sounds like a cool project idea
No idea how to ask this but would it be possible to do something similar but with a time limit to when the droids react? As in you can set it so they only react from 9AM to 12PM? If so I might try to make something like the above.
it's possible, but would require additional components such as something that can keep track of time. and the microcontroller would need new code so it knows how to check for the current time. or you build something else that the beacon connects to that does all of the time keeping for you and provides power to the beacon only during the period you want it to be active.
