I have loved this woman (in a proper way) since I was 18 and though I'm now in my 70th year, I still do. Her grace and strength thru her trials could only be God given. One day she will sing with the angels and if that's not proof that heaven is a real place, I don't know what is. Fight on Judith, this world will be a poorer place without you.
At 85 years old I don't cry much any more, except when I listen to this angelic voice. and then it's just from pure pleasure that my heart can scarcely contain
Yes the purity of voice, content, memories, and pure soothing melody, are something I can close my eyes too. I have been listening for centuries to the blessed voices of the original, Seekers, and will love them forget!. I'm 73 and love my age and appreciate the talent of my generation. God bless the beauty.
This song is incredible but what do you expect from this talented group. I love the Seekers (especially Judith Durham) more than I did when they started out. God bless you Judith!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful song. My wife of nearly 38 years passed away in May and this song embodies my feelings for her. I thank God for this lovely woman and her splendid voice which gave words for my feelings for my wife
The seekers are perhaps something that will never be repeated and " forever is not long enough for me " is a song that speaks to me in a very special way. Thank you for your gift of music
I am 58 years old now! Just found out about the Seekers. What a voice Judith has. The rest of the group blends in very well with her vocals. To bad she got out to early. I believe she is one of the greatest of all times. Shawn
Sadly, the right words to describe what Judith & The Boys mean to so many of us, simply do not exist. It's personal you know, for each of us, a connection to each of these individuals, and their music, that seldom comes along in a lifetime. Many nights, I kneel and pray, asking God to make sure Judith Durham & The Boys never ever leave us. For I know, and believe, that as long as I share this earth with them, all will be well. May the Seekers sing on, for all my days..........and beyond.
I have no idea how to put my finger on what makes a song beautiful and moving, but this one has got it. Judith sings and expresses the emotion of the piece better than ever and the boys harmony is fantastically rich and smooth - altogether wonderful!
Recorded just three years after the loss of the love of her life, Ron Edgeworth. I have always imagined that she was singing this song directly to him. You can see it in her demeanor at the end. I think she felt his eternal arms wrap around her. As he said the day he met her, "What a dolly."
I have been a massive admirer of Judith since my very early twenties. I know that, despite the fact that there’s no chance I’ll go to heaven, I have been enormously privileged to hear the voice of an angel. What a gorgeous, moving and crystal clear voice she has. Oh, Judith could have me any time she wants.
Forever is never ending. Singing will always be a pleasure of the heart and spirit. People like Judith will always fill our hearts with the desire that we seek. Blessings Rev Jack
for 25 years we her fans surely missed her beautiful voice as part of the seekers.but she was young when she left them.never realising her popularity.looking for something she already had
Judith, your voice is a beautiful Angel singing high above the clouds on a beautiful day. The sun shining down upon us filling us with pure love, Blessings Rev Jack
Of all the songs I have listened to recently by Judith Durham and The Seekers I think this is my personal favourite because it is so touchingly poignant and emotional. The soprano opera singer Maria Callas is widely regarded as the greatest diva of the 20th century. I say it is this lady JUDITH DURHAM!!!.
This is beautiful. Have loved Judith Durham's voice ever since she sang 'The Carnival is Over'. Bless You Tube & its contributors for finding Gems like this & sharing them with us.
Was,is and will be one of the very best there is. Distinctive voice of pure perfection with backing that adds that extra pleasure for the listeners. Brilliant.
Aside from her stunningly beautiful voice Judith Durham has such a sublime talent for singing as to make me believe it must be god-given. Judith is the Michelangelo, Rembrandt or Mozart of singing & I can fully understand 85 year old Phil Corrin below saying he doesn’t cry much any more “except when I listen to this angelic voice”.
What an absolutely beautiful song, sung by an absolutely beautiful voice. Since I went to the Seekers 50th anniversary concert in Adelaide earlier this week I've been scouring UA-cam for anything from Judith Durham. This is a bloody gem! Brilliant!! I love you forever Judith.... your voice is as perfect now at 70 as it was 50 years ago!
I bought the Future Road album years ago, probably when it was released, and this is one of my favourite tracks on the album. It expresses undying love so beautifully!
I'd never heard this one before - this is moving, Judith put her heart into singing this and its' lovely (not that she does anything else). I think Judith has a kind of sad smile on her face towards the end :(
@Michael5191949 I agree 100%...your voice is so angelic...like listening to God's angels while we sail above the clouds....Love The Seekers...and miss them so much......ty for the upload.....jeff
I don't like how the sound engineer POPPED it up with a Bass Guitar, even though there's a Double Bass there, as well as other things he's done.. But the voices are so pure you could never screw them up. Just hit record, & the magic happens. Judith could keep me mesmerized for weeks.
I am in Love... WHAT Person Charakter and Voice... since more than 50 years, THE DREAM... .... GOD please give her a long Life... ... Best Greets from Germany... Bernd G. Fenske ...
@MrRonnieG wow its hard to follow that so beautifully put,but you are right of course i think all of us never wants judith (my favourite) to stop singing for i have never heard a voice to come within a million miles of judiths, its unique its beautiful and it will never be bettered in our lifetime, even at 68 she is and will always be NO;1.

Judith now sings with the angels. Rest in peace Judith Durham.
I know just what you mean, and I completely agree. And now she does indeed sing with the angels. RIP Ms Durham.
Me too, and I will be 84 in a couple of weeks.....

These people are true musicians and vocalists. Listen to the clarity and the beautiful word about life. I just naturally love this music.

I met the Seekers through UA-cam.
Is a delight to hear their music. I love The Seekers.

One might ask where have spent the past 40 years. But glad you are now able to enjoy this great group. Cheers
Forever certainly isn’t long enough. Rest In Peace Judith 💔
Judith still has the eyes and voice that captured me so many years ago
She has to be one of the greats of our time

perfect words.
I couldn’t agree more with you, Mr. Cromer!.
I have no idea how to put my finger on what makes a song beautiful and moving, but this one has got it. Judith sings and expresses the emotion of the piece better than ever and the boys harmony is fantastically rich and smooth - altogether wonderful!

This breaks my heart because she sings this with so much soul for Ron xx. God bless you Judith
One of the world's greatest! The Seekers remain part of my daily musical life and always will.

even now, her voice still amazes me!
I played three Seekers songs at my husbands funeral ,this was one of them. It's Hard to leave. The lords Prayer. He adored the Seekers.

This is a lovely country ballad, praising love&the good things of togetherness.
At the end of this beautiful song you can see she is thinking of Ron.
I have been a massive admirer of Judith since my very early twenties. So glad to hear that this wonderful lady is in good voice. I'm going to catch the concert here in the UK next May.
Her full, resonant voice both stands out from and blends with the men’s voices. Their clever four-part voice styling is rare in music.

Ah Judith what a wonderful voice. Not since Patsy C line have we heard such a clear pitch. Second to none.
I often wonder why The Seekers have not been knighted, now that would be something to behold.
I am a republican but I fully agree with your comment!
