Ryan I discovered you on your Outer Wilds playthrough too. It was a lot of fun to watch :) I'm really enjoying this playthrough too. Satisfactory has been my jam for a few years now, and it's exciting to see someone enjoy the game in its full form as intended. Downside of Early access is you kind of spoil that experience for yourself 😅
throwing out remains when you have like 5000 concrete in your inventory lmao. i feel like stuff you have to farm should be priority vs stuff you just get for free out of the ground
*_as he said_* when dropping them (after having made an inhaler at least once before), *_he doesn't need remains or protein,_* and similarly also no other food or similar items that he spent time to fight and/or collect (except for a handful of berries to eat all the time). as much as i have enjoyed the blind playthrough at first, as annoying it becomes over time when he ignores ("information overflow"?) info that is given ingame by tooltips, craft menu, mam, etc when we are not allowed to remind him of anything that he saw but didn't notice fully aware of it, not even telling that or where he missed something so that he can go back or look it up himself. not wanting "real spoilers" (for future content) is one thing, but not wanting any info that CSS gave us in 5+ years on their release notes, trailers, ingame, or by other official means, and watching such gameplay for many hundreds of hours to come (when needing to find out everything himself) is too hard for me. i played similarly on my first game in Update4, and it took me maybe 200 hours to find out almost everything myself (but i played solo and didn't stream it, and did lots of experiments to learn how detaiks work or might internally work). the game now has at least 10 times more and more difficult content, and i simply don't have enough time to spend an hour each day for months and years to watch and not being allowed to interact. good luck with this series, and have fun.
You'd lead quite a charmed life, so far in this game, but it was inevitable that once you started venturing out that you would eventually succumb, either by falling off a high place or as a result of being attacked by one of the stronger aliens. As you discovered, it's always a good idea to equip yourself before going to retrieve your crate(s.)
The guy that got moderated at the end didn't even say a spoiler lmao. I think the mod that did that just didn't understand the game and the context of the message. I'm only commenting about it because I feel like every time something like that happens, it impacts the way Ryan plays negatively. Like one time in an earlier episode, someone put an emote in the chat when Ryan picked one of the hard drive research options and Ryan misunderstood that as a negative reaction to his choice... and that unfortunately lead to him being cautious during his subsequent hard drive research choices.
15 minutes in and you've literally ran past 4 cave entrances mere meters away. If you paid attention to the game world instead of chat, you might have seen them.
Personally, I found your channel from your Subnautica series. I'm a sucker for anyone who does a good let's play of that game.

You should get SkyUI mod so you can make it daytime while streaming!
