Whenever he talks about that charcoal recipe(the math does not check out), I keep on hearing Saruman saying: "The old world will burn in the fires of industry. The forests will fall." Hell, from what I understand, it has extreme potential to be a goated recipe. Destroy an entire forest for a metric crap ton of coal. Sounds nice.
It's interesting how Ryan looks at how many items turns into how many other items, rather than just looking at the "per minute" rate. Also love how his whole factory is not running in this video.
Yo this is crazyyyyyyyy. You just popped up on my home page and I remember watching your videos when you did book reviews way back when (specifically remember Infinite Jest). CRAZY CRAZY
17:10 - the "100 Grand" was called the "$100,00 Bar" until the mid 1980s And before that it was the "$100,00 Candy Bar" "Babe Ruth" was renamed from "Kandy Kake" in the 1920s supposedly named after the daughter of president Grover Cleveland. "Butterfinger" was named by the winning submission of a contest to name the candy in the 1920s and has remained a constant name.

I guess at this point the only thing grinding my gears is that Coffee Stain did Ryan a big disservice. They gave him wrong/incomplete information. And because of it he will continue to not use a feature that will make his life easier (if he chooses to use it). Ryan chose, rightly, to dismiss a feature out-of-hand because of bad/incomplete information given to him. I wish I could set it right, because it's 100% not Ryan's fault for not using it. Coffee Stain said to him, "do THIS thing and you will enable a feature". But doing 'THIS' thing is so inconvenient and unusable to literally anyone who plays video games (or uses a computer in general), he rightly dismissed it without a second glance. But if Coffee Stain had said "do THIS thing, or THAT thing and you will enable this feature'. And "THAT" thing is so much more practical, usable, functional and realistic a thing to do...Ryan would have tried it immediately and gained the benefit of that feature. But Coffee Stain did not give him that info when it should have. Oh well.... I'll just continue to gnash my teeth over it. But hey, at least he's got the overpowered Parachute up-and-running. So that's GREAT to see... at last :)
@@maksphoto78 haha I'm trying to be very careful not to give anything away to respect his wishes (technically I'm already breaking the rules by saying there is a feature he's not using yadda yadda. But I made an exception in this case since it's a bit of a bug in the interface as provided by Coffee Stain). I guess I can say that I can't give you just 1 good reason why this 'feature' is useful, but 10 good reasons why this feature is useful. After this I'm not sure what other useful UI features are Left for him to discover. Unfortunately, Coffee Stain's documentation is not Right all the time... - End of hint :) It's possible he already knows about it, and has decided to simply not use it... It's usefulness depends on the player I guess.
It's ok to have opinions and it's also ok for those opinions to be wrong. lol also: Turns machine off. "Why are you idle?" Seriously, why would a machine stop processing when turned off?
haha to be fair there are about 2 dozen different ways a machine might not work the way you expect it to work. Almost all of those coming down to 'user error' or 'decision made in the moment that no longer applies'. Missing belts, belt/pipe not fully attached to , installed Merger instead of Splitter, Valve pointed wrong way, Mk 4 instead of Mk 5, etc etc. I've been through the gamut too many times to blame anyone on anything!

Hungry? Stop by the stream for a nice bowl of spaghat! Jealous, I can't play Satisfactory due to work. Thanks for another enjoyable stream.

Frooties are essentially fruit flavored tootsie rolls.
As though a thousand hours of experienced players...
If they made kit Kats with Hershey's chocolate that would be interesting, but kit Kat bar chocolate taste nasty to me.

Ooh, I'm intrigued! I'd love to know what that other thing you're referring to, and what feature. Can you please drop a carefully-veiled hint for me?

I wonder why he's building lv1 miners on copper when he has lv2 unlocked
He doesn’t have encased beams automated
Is there a point to building MK2 if you're not going to use all that copper?
@@maksphoto78 two mk2 miners on 2 impure nodes is 120, that's 1 mk2 belt. I see less of a point putting a half empty belt on a bus.
