Beautiful models. Bought mine in Switzerland in 1960 for Equivalent £32!
Oh wow!
That's around £886 today allowing for inflation and the change in the value of money in the UK, so a very reasonable price!
Thank you for this valuable information!I still have a few, but sadly traded off or sold several before I realized what treasure I had. The many variations fascinate me!😁
Great to see you back Derek, and talking about pie pans - my holy grail. Still waiting for mine to come back from Omega post service after a very rash purchase elsewhere.
Thanks for the comment! Hope your will arrive soon!

Omega used to make elegant watches.
Most of them did till 1960's!
How well do these watches handle daily use? Can these be wound easily? Thanks for the video :)
Hello. I have an old omega geneve 136.070 ref, 613 calibre. How much daily deviation would be normal for this watch?
Anyone got any info on ref #2981 cal 491 dial looks jus like the constellation.
im looking at a 18k gold 60s omega pie pan constellation
The magic of those old watches can’t be made anymore 🥲💔 and if they its gonna be limited editions 🥲 with huge price
is the 500/550 movement king of its day? its still great. cosc?
Condition is key. The best movement is not the best if its condition is poor.
