anyone play sword of convallaria? just seeing adds for what looks like a tac strat pixel gacha cross-play game- looks fun/i dont know anyone who plays this [from NAeast]
Yeah they either look mediocre and play bad or look good with terrible gameplay and tons of microtransactions or even propaganda. I rather stay playing what I already enjoy than risk wasting time on another failure. Not to mention, some recent mmos are only known to be terrible once it is played over 100 hours...
I think you're bang on. Palworld, Valheim, V Rising - they're relaxing, you play with friends, you don't feel like anyone gets massively ahead of you, they're cooperative. That's what MMORPGs need to figure out. Gameplay that is fun and repeatable without putting some players way ahead of others and segmenting the playerbase. Because when you start segmenting the playerbase why wouldn't those segments find each other and play things like Palworld or Valheim? I wonder about that first MMO that will figure it out because it's a tough ask as we stand today. I'm also glad companies are pushing Pokemon and getting success like Palworld because I loved Pokemon growing up and it would be great to get a real AAA Pokemon game. This one sounds interesting, thanks for the heads up about it.
So true that the community can be a make or break for how enjoyable a game is. A friendly and helpful vs a toxic and gatekeeping makes a world of diference.
Hi, I just came to comment and give a video idea that would really help me (and maybe others). For work reasons I had to sell my PC and currently have a macbook. But many many mmos arent compatible natively with MacOS. Was just wondering if you could list the top choices of mmos that you would recommend that can run natively on Mac. Without the need of VMware, Wine, or any additional software to run microsoft. Anyways thanks so much for the years of content. Been a fan for what feels like 5 years+
it says only multi player in the description tho, not MMO, but MO Can we please stop calling them massive? if its about smaller group and single player? 5:50 the seond M comes from multiplayer, why not tell me where the first M comes from?
They were calling it an MMO, along with other content creators, so that's what I referred to it as. If they decide to clear that up, I'd be more than happy to do an updated video on that!
Doesn't look good so far, plus the fact they are featuring that absolute cringe blue haired Mohawk hairstyle in their trailers indicates a high chance of DEI ideology in the dev team...

You had me until I saw it was MOBa style combat. Plus, the eyes on some of these monsters kinda creep me out Anyway, I like how youtube somehow thinks this is Mabiongi
So instead of monsters being creepy, vile, gruesome and disgusting you want them to look sexy or something? You saying they look creepy, means they designed them good.
What MMO are YOU currently playing?
Bdo😂
The one in my dreams~
also gw2 a bit and trying to catch up 2 expansions in FF14...
Only ESO
The only MMO that matters. OSRS

I'm not sure it's possible for me to be excited for an MMORPG nowadays
Classical Conditioning
haha it's very difficult to be, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be!

Throne and liberty for me
Lots of the same korean slop with 50 million bullshit on screen like Throne and Liberty @joshanonline

the game has been canceled

Does it have a guild system? Is so, I'll play it!
I hope so!

i think some games are more focused on single player, because of lack of time to play
The future of MMOs haha.
Here i'll be the skeptic here.
All I'm hearing is "Microtransactions, more microtransactions, pay for these premium creatures"
This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them!
Arguably 3 because of Pokemon
it says only multi player in the description tho, not MMO, but MO

This one looks alot of fun! Can't wait to try
Same here!
im good
this looks actually good, to bad no release date yet, guess it will be late 2025.

looks decent
It's illegal to be excited about an mmo
Awesome i can't wait to try this game out
Same here!
Bro what ever happened to this that project ragnarok mmo
Good question.. I'll have to take a look.
You’re the goat. Also throne and liberty felt goooooooood
Why play this when palworld is one time pay and im sure this game will sell battle pass, season pass, skins, and all pay to win you can add in mmorpg
a bit different gameplay, more specifically combat, and a free price tag.
Alternatives are good!
@@MMOByte but its a bad alternative

"Mmo that focuses on single player" so not an mmo...
Once human, it's to good.
Mrs Stix really loves the game!!
i had a lot of fun with it too
I’m not exited but Pokémon has been so bad for so long people should get something to enjoy in this genre.
If Gen 10 is ass I am done. There is no way GameFreak will make an awe-inspiring Monolith Soft level world design quality.
If only Nintendo would break down and make a 2D Pokémon mmorpg with cross play.
I wish.. but it is impossible for Nintendo to release one of its biggest franchises on a different platform
If only Nintendo would break down and just disappear
Nah
even if it played like the best mmo now the looks itself will make it a dead game
until ashes comes out there is no true MMOs :(
What is this.

@@ImEcchi Don't put words in my mouth
Nah, i won't play spermix.
I want an MMO like Runescape...but anime...
I thought this got cancelled?
it did
Whenever a new mmo comes out I already saw a foot into the grave.😂
another flop
I’ve always thought MMOs should focus on smaller scale end game. Roster bosses haven’t been fun in forever.
