Tonight it’s the first in a five part series from Germany, which has been long on the to-do list, so I hope you enjoy it… I took a crew with me this time, so the videos are a little different, but the change isn’t permanent. I know a lot of people out there like the regular one man band style, which will always be a part of what I do…but by way of experimentation and in order to try and capture each video as dynamically as possible, I wanted to give this a try. So feel free to let me know what you think down in the comments. On the contrary, the hyperfixation on the chewing sounds makes these totally unwatchable sadly. Hopefully the whole series isn't like this, it's horrific.

it's basically cannon that he goes to this style at least once a year. I don't think he'll change the format, but it's like the Christmas jingles you know? He's gotta squeeze a cheeky wee holiday with the lads in at some point in the year. But ye the voiceover does make it feel a little more personal. :P
I’m glad it’s not just me that prefers the ‘normal’ style of video edit. The format is just more personal and engaging. Also super highly quality closeups and sound of destroying large quantities of junk food makes it less palatable than if there’s a bit of distance. Especially on the dirty glass!!
I was about to throw up , love him and his videos , but lets keep ths dirty disgusting glass out ... if this becomes a thing I will stop watching , I have to block the look of that dirty glass with my hand
I feel the solo videos gets more authentic connection with the people who are around you while recording. And yes, need the voiceovers. Those are my bedtime stories!
The only thing I miss in this style video, is the voiceover. I like it better when you are giving more context to what is going on both eating, and around you as well.
With a few less jump cuts and the normal voice over this would work! I do prefer the original solo videos way more to be honest. And I got to say that I got super confused when the timer counted down, instead of up as the normal videos 😂
I definitely prefer the solo videos… it’s not that there’s anything wrong with the crew or videos… there is just a hugely different feel and editing to the videos and I find your solo ones much more entertaining 🤷🏻♀️
Just to add another datapoint, I really loved the crew videos and the different editing. I wouldn’t want it to replace your standard style, but this video was great and I hope to see more like it. It’d be nice to have a mixture imo.
Beards getting lazy ,his old basic format was great he's now inviting his sycophants to carry bags &film which camera man who do you know who wants to film themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't edit your own content anymore,I remembered the days when you dropped two videos a week,that bloody fart was disgusting who does that in public.

I feel the same. These are very overproduced: editing is way too much, tons of sounds effects, over the top music. It comes across like a more amateur American reality show in how it’s put together. I feel badly, but this style really doesn’t appeal to me. I’ll still watch and support, I just hope this isn’t a more permanent direction for the channel.

I feel the same! I genuinely had this thought while watching this, "BeardMeetsFood is hands-down the best 'eating-challenge' channel on UA-cam." I like the previous format just as much as this, so I say include your friends and have a good time! Great job as well, Adam, you absolutely destroyed that.

The pronunciation of the „r“ is pretty much spot on. This is what always gives away German natives in English. That‘s as impressive as munching down that burger… 💪👍
I don't mind the occasional crew filmed challenges, but really enjoy just you, Adam doing your thing on your own and the interactions with staff and customers. Just saying
Great to finally see the Germany videos we've heard so much from the boys about in Breaking Beard. This challenge looked like a bit of a beast, even for Adam. Despite what some say, I really enjoy both style of vids. I think the crew ones are great because the bromance you guys have is always good for a laugh and the solo ones are just OG so of course they're good too 👊
Congrats on taking that one down! I like both filming styles. I do miss your voiceovers from when you film alone, but having reactions from the crew makes up for it.
I actually only watched about 4 min. What makes your videos so great is that there isn't a lot of editing and memes. Just chill vibes, tons of food and good banter. But I know the younger viewers (I'm about the same age as Beard himself) need all the bells and whistles to keep paying attention, so you gotta do what you gotta do. Anyways, gonna keep watching the "normal" videos, cause they are great!
I hate the memes, the crew etc. it's going towards that terrible typical UA-camr clickbait formula. It becomes all about profit and not just enjoyable videos.
I understand why you’ve got the crew now, but I can’t help it, I WAY prefer the videos with just you. I can’t get used to the fancy angles, the funky music, and the memes. It’s just not YOU. But still watch every video regardless ❤

Ive been going through extreme depression since my wife and kids left 8 months ago, when they were leaving i was watching your videos for comfort and i still find everytime i turn on the tv and theres a new beard episode a grin and Yes i needed this, slipping out 😁 I love hearing you talk and joke while you do the challenge, some ppl may complain it slows you down, but why do they think so many ppl return again and again to watch you?.. Your a very good eater, but self admittedly not the best * cough cough, joey jk lmao 😂 But your personality and charm keeps us coming back and helps a lot of us through more troubling times then you understand and its about much more than just eating. The voice over adds so much to the videos I didn't even know holy shit. I need that. No fancy crew improves the videos in my humble opinion. Just keep being your humble self, beard ❤️

How long did you grow up there? You might be eligible as a dual citizen but that may not apply to older generations. I‘d ask a consular. Because I am both a legal German (snd by extension EU Citizen) anf American citizen naturalised, as well as both passports and voting rights. That is a privilege not everyone has.

I miss Germany. Hands down the greatest food EVER. Always 100% fresh and full of flavor. I've never been disappointed. This video alone makes me want to go back at least for a vacation
Miss the commentary and dislike the random cuts to the cameramen. We want to hear from beard, the goat, thats why were subscribed!!! Adds more of a story line to the vid. Keep it Classic beard, thats what we love ❤❤❤❤. You are the star and have the perfect format.
It’s great that you’re trying different techniques, good to constantly look to develop, but these videos never feel the same. I’ve never watched because of the food, I don’t watch any other food eating channels, I really enjoy your personality in the videos and when you interact with random people at the venues. I enjoy the bad jokes and comments on your usual voice over, it feels weird without it, it’s like watching friends without the laugh track. But still great job on this challenge!
At the 7:30 mark I was getting concerned, but about 30 seconds later the plate was clean and the crowd was applauding. You never let us down. Congrats!

I like both styles of videos; I like having the mix of the two types, both are fun. I didn’t think you were going to beat this challenge, and there was another close one recently. I like to not read comments until the end so the excitement builds, but you keep knocking these challenges out of the park!

I like the old filming style because I believe Adam is distracted by his buddies and also the added film memes just don't add to the content in a good way. Things were SO much better with just Adam being serious about the challenge and Lindsey encouraging him on! I miss those days! 😢
1. I'm not a DUDE - just look at my name for the CLUE. 2. This isn't the first video that Adam has put out like this with a crew of his buddies and it won't be the last from what I understand. 3. While Adam is having fun with his crew while filming I believe he's not taking the challenge seriously enough and in a way is a little insulting to the restaurant owners. I'm all for a little levity during a challenge but I also like to see a serious attempt at completing it in record time. I also miss his voice overs with this new format and of course like everybody else miss watching Lindsey try to keep him on track and motivated. 4. I'm entitled to voice my opinion and if it embarrassed you - I suggest you pull your big boy pants up and deal with real life or change your name to Snowflake Truth. I know Beard needs a break sometimes and would prefer to have a crew with him to help him film and edit so these kinds of videos are fine from time to time. In saying that though, I think almost everyone agrees that the one man band style of videos are the reason we love you and your videos. It just has another level of appeal and rawness to it💚
Love that you're in Germany! 😍 I think there are one or two spots in the north of Germany as well with potential! But I have to agree with the others - I'm missing the VoiceOver, though I like the crew-style videos. Maybe a combination of both? Weren't there vids like that in the past?
I may be in a minority of one, but I much prefer the non-crew videos. To me they're far more appealing, and just feel really personable and authentic. The only interactions I need to see are with the staff and customers, and if occasionally there's not too much of that, then so be it. If I want slick, glossy, over-produced, multiple-angle camera shots then there are more than enough crappy food shows on TV.
I always love when I see a new video of you. I enjoyed watching it, but quite frankly I prefer )and by far( when we hear your narration and interactions with fans/waiters, when there is no music… overall I prefer when your videos are more simple/authentic. 😊
Still need the catchphrase and the commentary... This format is the equivalent of Disney taking over and sucking the soul out of it 😂 Still though, I'll catch you at the next one 😂

It’s great that you’re trying different techniques, good to constantly look to develop, but these videos never feel the same. I’ve never watched because of the food, I don’t watch any other food eating channels, I really enjoy your personality in the videos and when you interact with random people at the venues. I enjoy the bad jokes and comments on your usual voice over, it feels weird without it, it’s like watching friends without the laugh track. But still great job on this challenge!

I like both styles of videos; I like having the mix of the two types, both are fun. I didn’t think you were going to beat this challenge, and there was another close one recently. I like to not read comments until the end so the excitement builds, but you keep knocking these challenges out of the park!

I like the old filming style because I believe Adam is distracted by his buddies and also the added film memes just don't add to the content in a good way. Things were SO much better with just Adam being serious about the challenge and Lindsey encouraging him on! I miss those days! 😢

1. I'm not a DUDE - just look at my name for the CLUE.
2. This isn't the first video that Adam has put out like this with a crew of his buddies and it won't be the last from what I understand.
3. While Adam is having fun with his crew while filming I believe he's not taking the challenge seriously enough and in a way is a little insulting to the restaurant owners. I'm all for a little levity during a challenge but I also like to see a serious attempt at completing it in record time. I also miss his voice overs with this new format and of course like everybody else miss watching Lindsey try to keep him on track and motivated.
4. I'm entitled to voice my opinion and if it embarrassed you - I suggest you pull your big boy pants up and deal with real life or change your name to Snowflake Truth. Not everyone is going to agree with your opinion. JS

I know Beard needs a break sometimes and would prefer to have a crew with him to help him film and edit so these kinds of videos are fine from time to time. In saying that though, I think almost everyone agrees that the one man band style of videos are the reason we love you and your videos. It just has another level of appeal and rawness to it💚

I may be in a minority of one, but I much prefer the non-crew videos. To me they're far more appealing, and just feel really personable and authentic. The only interactions I need to see are with the staff and customers, and if occasionally there's not too much of that, then so be it. If I want slick, glossy, over-produced, multiple-angle camera shots then there are more than enough crappy food shows on TV.

I always love when I see a new video of you. I enjoyed watching it, but quite frankly I prefer )and by far( when we hear your narration and interactions with fans/waiters, when there is no music… overall I prefer when your videos are more simple/authentic. 😊
