I couldn’t stand the factory handlebars on my ruckus. Not only did they feel way too big for the bike and have such a wide radius, but I felt like I looked really stupid riding around with them big bars. I installed the samurai bars on mine almost immediately. I like them because there are so many adjustments you can do that you can really dial it in for exactly what works best for you. I bought my ruckus last October 2022 and I was originally only gonna do a few things to it but I changed my mind over the winter and started going all out. I’ve been ordering atleast 1 part for it every week. I did polini variator, dr pulley sliders, ncy drive face, better clutch springs for the stock clutch, the samurai bars, ruck shop pegs, r6 tail light, led turn signals, ncy cdi, ncy coil, ncy gas tank cover, ruck shop intake with uni filters, kehin jets, hot lap exhaust, a radiator scoop to pull in more cool air, bar end mirrors from the ruck shop, new belt, new fuel filter, ncy lowered seat frame, a bunch of other small stuff and other stuff I probably forgot about lol. Next is gonna be front and rear shocks and I definitely like the windscreen you installed I want to do one on mine. Keep up the good work and have fun with your build. It’s actually enjoying learning and doing all the work yourself, figuring out what works and what doesn’t
Sounds like your ruckus is a totally different bike now! I see YT as a historic forum at this point and have used comments just like yours to help with projects, so on behalf of everyone, thanks for the post.
I would ditch the bag and put in the plastic box. I like the pegs. Very smart. I'd add a wind screen. Lights are also excellent ax well. I'd add a cycle box on the rear. As a gag if adc a motor cycle SIren.
Dam bud..your engine coolant level looks dangerously low!? Also iam definitely going to do folding foot pegs i think are much safer on the ruckus, i fell like you could get your foot stuck under the pegs that dont fold back
Stock is 40mph so what did you do to drop speed lol? 2 1/2 cups oil.
7:57 You're going away for a long time buddy. I'm reporting you.
Straight to jail

I think it'd look better without the pro taper bar pad, or maybe a all black one would be better.
I think I like the location of the front signals now. kinda ugly in a good way.
That's kinda how I feel about the bulky 80s aesthetic. It's so specific that it's good.
Do you have a link to this passenger seat you mentioned?

I do want to get one of those hard shells. Check out the update video for the windshield (more of a fairing) and other additions.

Did you remove the front frame to grind off the bunny ears or just grind off as is?
Had to take the bracket off to grind it.
180 pounds??!?! What are you, 18?
6’1 180 is completely normal lmao
