Hey there. I just want to say this: Thank you. Thanks to this video, I was able to do the trade between Colosseum and Emerald, thus making it possible for me to get all 3 legendary beasts in the gba game. Now I can complete the National Pokédex. So thank you.
That's cool! I didn't know this was possible (Even if slightly awkward to get to work). The berry fix, didn't know since I updated it with Pokémon Box instead. Though I wish I had the oppotunity to get the shiny Zigzagoon. So many events missed due to living 50 miles from cities. :(

I have problems. It says the GBA rom (Pokemon Emerald U) i downloaded was not compatible with the Pokemon Collosseum USA. How did you get your rom for Gamecube?.
I probably spent about an hour alone trying to get my game to recognize at all. To inquire further, what ROM of Sapphire and Emerald were you using? Were they US/EU, US, or pulled from a game cart via a cart dumper? Have you reattempted this with newer versions of Dolphin which natively emulate with mGBA or have you only had this work with VBA-M and Dolphin?
From my experience, any network connection (internet/intranet) can interfere the connection. Try disable the network adapters. I used roms from random websites in this video. A cart dumped rom works as well, given it's an authentic cartridge. The connection between GC games and GBA games is region-locked. You need US GBA games for US GC Games. I will test it with newer version of dolphin. Give me a day or two.
I was able to transfer jirachi to my gba using a flash cart that contained the .sav from the emulator to trade with my pokemon ruby. I got to transfer to my heartgold! Thank you!
Idk where else to post this but when i patch the touhou puppet play enhanced rom into a pokemon fire red rom it wont save my progress causeing me to use save states to save my game, is there a way i can fix this?
is it possible to assemble your team in the gba games and play in the colosseum? with the gba emulator and the dolphin? I thought it was only possible on project 64 and gameboy color emulator gen 1 and 2
It appears you can as shown with this, but there may be some kinks that need to be worked out since ROMs of both Colosseum and XD need to match the same region of the GBA ROM regardless if the save file is region-free.

It seems like that VBA is trying to load und after 2 seconds just give up. It just go like normal und Dolphin has a error. Update: The screen is like in 8:50. And thats it. Saphir starts normaly on my side

@@robo-rex0239 That's weird. For connecting Pokemon XD, in FR/LG you must first finish Celio quest getting ruby and sapphire item, and in R/S/E you need to beat the E4. Or... are you sure that you're using original GBA cartridge, not the bootleg one?

i think you'll have to move your save data to a pc to get this to work.

Use the integrated gba on dolphin. It's more stabilized and up to date.

Yes, of course.
It's far more easier than using emulators.
You only need GC-GBA link cable to do so.
