I never did completely understand the Anatomy/Physiology behind ‘Saro’s’ injuries leading to his subsequent ‘temporary’ paralysis of both legs. Because Saro eventually made a complete recovery with no lasting effects whatsoever. And his mother ‘Sarika’ did a great job taking care of her boy as he slowly recovered.
And Sarika was pregnant with the new goblin Saba then. Everywhere Sarika had to carry a big boy. Now when Rainbow sits with pregnant Libby some nasty ladies post very bad comments. When Saro was injured he was over a year old and Sarika was nursing him too. Sarika had to carry a heavy boy to the tree top to save him from other monkeys attack. @ 5:00 poor Sarika..... She is an amazing mom... @ 9:28 😢😢😢😢
I would think his recurrent injuries are happening because he already is weakened in that area of the spine. Running, playing, jumping can exacerbate a previously "healed" injury causing the paralysis. Obviously, without a Vet to check him out we will never know.

Посмотрите,сколько горя и страдания в глазах Сарики,она плачет без слёз,она сочувствует своему ребёнку,она не понимает что с ним случилось и почему он не может бегать,но тащит его и заботиться,теперь я точно знаю,что как среди обезьян так и среди людей могут быть такие моменты в жизни! Я рада,что у Саро всё наладилось и он жив и здоров,хотя иногда плачет и требует маминого внимания и любви.

Обе ноги Саро отнялись после того, как на него, хромающего на одну ногу от наезда мотоцикла, напали две взрослые самки и искусали его за спину в области кресца, над основанием хвоста.
А ходить он начал сразу на следующий день, когда вечером, увидев новый выпуск с его страданиями, я искренне помолилась за него, попросила Бога, чтобы Саро снова мог ходить, иначе ему не выжить. И каково было моё удивление, когда на следующий день в новом видео он уже вставал на задние лапки.
Не стесняйтесь молить Бога о тех, кому больше ничем не можете помочь.
Хорошая заботливая мама, побольше таких мамулик.

She took to the trees for protection. I don't think she knew what happened to him, but she knew it happened on the ground. They are animals but it doesn't mean they don't care. Good mama!
People saying hes fine now means there was most likely swelling on his spinal cord that made the temp paralysis but when the swelling subsided feeling and control slowly came back. How lucky this is almost def a death sentence for almost any other animal in the wild but this ones attention from mom saved it.

Damaged nerves can cause temporary paralysis. Nerves can heal and feeling and use returns. I damaged a nerve and couldn't move my right hand nor fingers for over a month. Complete paralysis. It slowly came back. One day I could twitch my thumb then little by little it returned but boy was my hand weak...had to rebuild strength. Probably damaged nerves and swelling here...temporary paralysis.
For those that don't understand his paralysis I will try to explain. Sometime vertebrates get an injury around their spine. With an injury there is always swelling. If he happened to break his backone even with a slight fracture the ensuing swelling could press on his spinal cord rendering him paralyzed. It happens in humans sometimes too. Once the swelling supsides and the bone heals the pressure on the spinal cord lessens and mobility returns. Permanent paralysis happens when the spinal cord is severed. You can break your back or neck without any damage to the spinal cord at all. Its too bad George W Bush put an end to stym cell research. There was actually alot of promise being shown in healing spinal cord injuries. Who knows how far they would have advanced in the 20 years since he enacted the ban.

She's a good Mother. She nursed him back to health.
She's not his mother. He was an abandoned pet who always acted like a baby no matter how big he got. He was attacked for it on multiple occasions, but still acted like a whining baby.He was bullied for refusing to fight back , which is weakness in the wild. His refusal to grow up or even wrestle and rough house made him a target. Juveniles who refuse to grow up are always bullied.

these camera guys are not to be trusted. i have heard of all the deranged things they do to sell videos. (guess they don't have the education for an honorly job) They use numbing meds, dress a wound up and film the poor thing when he is scared out of his wits. i guess it's legal in that God forsaken place.

Сам виноват, был ролик как это случилось. Это результат, когда уже большой макаш висит на пузе у мамки, они были на дороге, ехал мопед, очень медленно, мамаша почему то рванула под колеса и проскочила, а весь наезд прошёлся по висящему на животе макашу.
А писали, что самец покусал. А так он её сосал долго. Уже большой.

This sometimes hapoens when teenagers dont want to be weaned. A male will step in. Sweet Pea got away with this behavior because his brain stopped developing at 6 mos. Old and the monkeys can tell by their smell that he had an underdeveloped brain.

All I have to say is wow !!! At least the siblings stick together and if she can't be a fit mother maybe getting her fixed should be a perfect solution so no other baby has to go through the mental and emotional and made to feel unwanted and unloved because that kind of abuse will differently stay with a person, or child or animal forever!!!! So think about how this animal actions is really affecting this baby. Actions and behavior can really do damage mentally and emotionally
