Congratulations to Dr. Ngwenya. We are slowly learning how to negotiate ourselves just from you explaining, and we're taking notes Thanks Dr Muzi Sambo.
Suzuki should make you an ambassador but their focus is taking influencers who don’t really believe in their brand on useless trips around the country, but asikho lapho. 🤣🤣 Will be using your tips soon but on getting a deal assist from VW soon, no rush.
One thing I like about this channel is it really helps you make sound financial decisions.. I mean even professionals/Dentists/Doctors are driving Suzuki Swifts. I’m gonna go for my suzuki. I will not listen to this “aantu aati ngiini “ (what will people say) people that expect us to big/“proper” cars.
I know someone who is a Teacher and is driving 2022 Hyndai Creta.. let me tell you...shes suffering 🤣🤣😂😂 all the hype of the car died in 4 months now it her facing the bank every month alone
@@LeoTechy I hope she’s not eating eggs and pap everyday. Maibe she has a grand side hustle coz I can’t imagine paying high installments on that salary..
I'm 19 years old and I've been watching your channel for months now. I think I'll be ready to negotiate prices the day my sister decides to buy a car. Ngeke sidlalwe mfo.
This channel has been very informative for someone like me who is looking into buying their 1st car. I like how transparent you are with the costs , comparing different brands and what they offer in terms of service plan so one can make a wise decision. Keep it up Mr Sambo 👏
I literally followed tips from this video to get a perfect deal for my 2022 suzuki swift gl😊😁thank you so much, first time I listened to a man and actually ended up happy with no regrets 🤣🤣 thanks Muzi!
Congratulations to Dr Ngwenya, thanks a lot Muzi for sharing this with us. I've been following you for few months now and I'm learning a lot man 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I accidentally bumped into this Channel but I love the content. Very informative, since I am 1 salary away from poverty I will wait until I can afford an " Affordable car" I am learning a Lot though. Thank You for the Content Dr Sambo
Congrats Dr Ngwenya! Such a proud and heartwarming moment! And thank u Muzi for an absolutely awesome and informative video. Ur tips will really save people loads of money. God Bless!
Just start by mentioning 5% discount, tht type of thing and you will see magic. They will play mind games here and there and try to trick you but don't fall for it
3 months ago i didnt know anything about cars, got my licence a week ago. I'm loving the content, and learning alot. Thank you very much.. Ladies.... Subscribe subscribe subscribe!!
Hey Muzi. I find you videos really helpful and informative. I would really like to hear your views on repair /maintenance costs and parts availability across different car brands . Thanks again for your tips
Another trick you can use that is effective is to negotiate a 5% reduction. For example if the car is 250k, 5 % will be around 237k. It's so much easier when you talk using percentages. Just tell them you have a budget of 250k for everything and it will work out better if they give you tht 5% discount then add all those extra cost which can go up to 11k on that 237k then you will end up with a total of 248k which is lower than that 250k advertised price. Just be relaxed and be friendly but firm. Some dealerships may not barge but keep on trying koz you might have to try 5 different dealerships in order to get the deal that you want
In 2015 I was wet behind the ears when I bought my 1st car. I practically paid for everything that was put in from of me 😮💨😅. Now I am wiser and negotiating is my best friend.
Great content, I have been watching some of your videos for some time now, and I noted that you are against buying second hand GTI's. Could you please share some of your input on that as I am considering buying a polo 6c gti manual with 100k kms
One thing I can tell you with those second hand Vrrrpha's, it's highly unlikely that the previous owner was easy on the gearbox and second hand GTI's/Golf 7 what not, usually have gearbox issues because of this. Its not advisable to buy a car that has clocked way over 100 000 KM anyway. I know a person in my neighborhood who bought a 2nd hand Golf 7 R, that thing didn't even last 2months after buying it and its parked under a tree now with no gearbox.
That is the story of my life. R800 worth of petrol every week. That's 34 liters of petrol. It's for work, weekend family responsibilities, my mom has asthma, therefore, time and again I have to go check her at least twice in the week and visit to the in-laws. I travel 38 kilos to-and-fro to work.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I also wanted a picanto with a sunroof but lately ive been looking at Suzuki and thank you for this video Dr Ngwenya wanted the same car as me and also her budget so nje thank you thank you.....Muzi Sambo 🙌🙌
I’m not shaming or anything but we often grow up under the impression that being a Dr, your first car will likely be a German Machine then you see Drs buying entry level cars like Suzuki😩. What has the economy come to.
The problem is...we like to compete here in SA. You dont need that POLO, that GTI..that Mercedes...that BMW. people buy those just to look good around other people but at the end of the day its you and the bank. so wise people listen to their fanance not Lust.😂
It's got nothing to do with the economy but prioritizing important things. No use trying to please strangers and suffering in silence, expensive cars, have expensive insurance, expensive maintenance, more money petrol compared to entry level cars, people have other important things to spend money on, it's not only cars. And as a first time car buyer, it's only fair you buy an entry level car and upgrade with time should you have money to waste on a car.
Chief I should have subscribed to your channel earlier before I bought my own car last year. These dealerships did exactly what you are tipping us on to me when I bought my car 🤦.
I love how Muzi is able to combine his love for financial education and cars in one video
