My first car was Hyundai I20, i bought it ( 2020) during Covid. I am definitely happy with it and do not have any issues. It's crazy how expensive cars are now!

I bought a VW Polo Sedan which was previously a demo. My instalments are R3600. I am looking to get a new car but its so hard to wrap my head around these new instalments amounts. 🤣 Also, since I am used to the space in my car, its so hard to even look at something like Picanto. I think it also would've helped to include the service plan and warranty the dealerships give with their new cars as they can also be factored into what you're saving and paying for extend warranty or a service plan after the ones that come with the car run out would bring about extra monthly running costs for the car.
Ooohh I definitely did miss that one! Nissan Magnite R227 900 (approx R4 759 monthly instalment) ✨. With regards to service and maintenance plans, so it’s hard to factor this in because this information is not always readily available in the market. So what I’ve done is used the costs mentioned on the website and some dealers have already included this whilst others haven’t. But because I wanted people to be aware of these additional costs, I explicitly mentioned it in the assumptions to say I did not go the extra mile of deliberately including it. I do try my best to bring you guys accurate information however certain elements will require your personal initiative unfortunately 🙏🏾. But thank you so much for raising this ☺️ I know a lot of other people may find help in this comment.

And often if you have a good credit score you’ll get a good rate however if you’re a recent graduate without much credit, a young professionals bank account may assist because they give favourable rates to graduates 🙏🏾☺️. I’ve left a link in the description box for that video which explains further. Then in terms of paying your deposit upfront vs 2-3 months in? Mathematically it’s better to pay it upfront so that any interest calculated on your balance thereafter is on a smaller balance however people might enjoy paying a lumpsum later because they can VISIBLY see their instalment go lower (e.g. first 3 months instalment was R5 059 then month 4 onwards it’s like R4 500). I hope this helps🙏🏾. Also play around with the finance calculator and see what works for you. I

hey nokuhle please educate people about the the disadvantage of 0BD2 port when it comes to car theft .that thing its located under the steering wheel n theres a second one on the bonnet .normally its used for car system diagnose .so what criminals do is ,lets say you r in the mall parking area so when u lock the car using the keys so what they wil do is to catch the key signal with their laptop .1 they will open the driver"s door it doesnt even take them 5min ,2 they will plug in the ODB port cable from their laptop n clip it to yr car OBD port .3 they wil disable car alarm 4 they will over-write the car computer system then your car its gone within 15min .so the only way to avoid this ,buy the OBD PORT LOCKER or the the OBD cable distributer place it where it isnt obvious and also it is advisable to install ignition kill-switch n the fuel relay kill-switch

I also contemplated getting a Grand i10 for my first car but the car salespeople were rude/ didn't give me much attention when I went there the first time so I ended up scratching it off my list because I didn't want to be dealing with attitude before I even spent my money ☹️. We could've been twinning.

My deal they had included a balloon payment which I didn’t want, paying the deposit removed the balloon payment so it can also assist in that regard.

hey nokuhle please educate people about the the disadvantage of 0BD2 port when it comes to car theft .that thing its located under the steering wheel n theres a second one on the bonnet .normally its used for car system diagnose .so what criminals do is ,lets say you r in the mall parking area so when u lock the car using the keys so what they wil do is to catch the key signal with their laptop .1 they will open the driver"s door it doesnt even take them 5min ,2 they will plug in the ODB port cable from their laptop n clip it to yr car OBD port .3 they wil disable car alarm 4 they will over-write the car computer system then your car its gone within 15min .so the only way to avoid this ,buy the OBD PORT LOCKER or the the OBD cable distributer place it where it isnt obvious and also it is advisable to install ignition kill-switch n the fuel relay kill-switch

Wanted a Hyundai i20 but ended up with my second choice, Hyundai grand i10 (Demo). Was looking for a second hand car cos cars are not cheap. Luckily I got a demo. I feel like it’s still a bit pricy but we move 😊
I also contemplated getting a Grand i10 for my first car but the car salespeople were rude/ didn't give me much attention when I went there the first time so I ended up scratching it off my list because I didn't want to be dealing with attitude before I even spent my money ☹️. We could've been twinning.
@@nokuhlekumalo Exactly, we can not be purchasing something so big with bad energy! I hate rude people! Looking for a car is physically, mentally and financially exhausting! The last thing we need is to deal with rude sales people! God had better plans and look where you are right now 🤗🫶
