Don't forget that the story was pretty good, gen 9 has one of the better stories we've seen in the majority Pokemon games, it's on the level of gen 5 and 7, and IMO gen 9 has the strongest character writing in the franchise. Usually the characters in Pokemon games are 1 note and simply with a few per game being somewhat complex, but almost every major character in the game have a distinct personality, an interesting backstory, and realistic motivations for their actions, they aren't the deepest characters in fiction but for Pokemon it's clear they at least put effort into writing for those characters. I went in SV not expecting much for any of the characters save for Nemona and the professors but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were not the only interesting characters in the games and I genuinely wanted to see more of their stories.
@@komladzigbede4184 Yeah no doubt, gen 5 still has the best story in any of the games and the music is peak, you know your music is peak when a simple town has one of the best musical tracks in franchise and the annoying low health sounds is actually a bop. But I do think SV had much more well written characters that Black and White.
I heavily agree. The characters feel so dynamic and even relatable. While I don’t like Nemona as a character due to Yandere vibes, she was excellently written.
@@cyrix6165 Arven's quest to save Mabosstiff had me crying like a lil bitch. I've lost a couple of good dogs due to old age and health issues that come with it so when I saw it getting up and going to Arven I legit had to take a lap to calm down XD
I will say Legends Arceus was a nice return to form to the old style of storytelling about saving the world from big world-ending threats. But Scarlet and Violet really showed why the shift to more personal, friendship and family oriented stories might have been the right choice.
I actually really liked Gen 9. Yeah, it had flaws and lots of them, but I found myself able to see through those and appreciate the good parts. Honestly, the ability to do stuff like the Gyms in whatever order you wanted was a great concept! I just wish they made the levels and shit scale with where you were in the game. Even so, I loved Gen 9.
I don't play pokemon and am here because I'm trying to investigate why the fuck Penny's theme is hardstyle that totally just clashes against all other tracks I've heard from pokemon. Even though jesus fuck it's a good track.
I got used to Cascarrafa City's music when I bred like 60 johtoian Wooper to surprise trade. Still after hearing it so much while doing such a boring and tedious task, it slaps HARD
1. This was Lennyficate lol 2. I had the looped Version and i really wondered by hearing this why the heck the Elite 4 Music was so Creepy and not suiting at all for a Elite 4 battle what happened but i didn't mind that and i actually like the loop (or the bugged) version a little bit more

Gen 5 still goated though

@@komladzigbede4184facts but gen 9 is up there despite its issues with frame rates and graphics Pokemon scarlet and violet are amazing Pokemon games

Will say, Gen 9 Pokémon did bring its fair share of story compared to previous Switch titles.

letting aside the fact that has lots of glitches and low detail in somethings, it sure was and is one hell of a game

All the people streaming got glitches in their game when my whole playthrough was glitchless
LITERALLY SAME
Fr, the only "glitches" were when I did something I wasn't supposed to do. It's hard to account for every little crevice Miraidon may get stuck on lol
0:16 lol Thats me hahah
das ist mal eine Überraschung
At this point, I don’t think I can listen to Penny’s theme without the “yo yo OHHH” before the drop now 😂

Team star as a whole is full of hard songs if a similar style. And since she's the leader, her goes the hardest!

Easily my favorite aswell!
I haven't played this one yet so I thought the Cassiopeia part was a meme but WOW that goes hard
But Pokémon never misses with the OST. 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@Devin64589 OK very true, but just doesn't save the whole game I'm so sorry😭😭😭
Underrated
I need Part 2 with the Gym Leader's Final Pokemon part.❤
No Geeta's theme? One of my personal favorites.
