Nice interview hearing about his involvement with this module and synergy. Note to camera operator : turn auto focus off he's not moving much just set focus and leave. Auto focus is pulsing throughout the video, going in and out a bit a little jarring.
Steve Fryette has some of the best ears in the business. He hasn’t ever made a bad sounding amp. All the Synergy stuff is bulletproof. I can personally vouch that the chassis designs, fit-wise are flawless. Avi, who is the real engine behind this product line is a mastermind at making everything irresistible… I needed more amps like a hole in my head but once I got my Syn 2 and 50/50 and 1st couple of modules I couldn’t stop…I think I have them all now except for this one.
Since you said you like a challenge, how about a Synergy module based on the Hughes & Kettner Tri-Amp that Alex Lifeson uses? Or a Billy Gibbons Magnatone? :)
It’s cool hearing his history and the history of this project. I just wish the demos done so far were by people who understood the way the Mark’s were dialed in….
Synergy decides which designs they want developed. The SD60 is a clever design, but the current module architecture would only support the drive channel. Not both.
I can't recommend the Synergy stuff enough. I have a few Marshall and Friedman amps and I wouldn't be using this system if I was sacrificing my tone in any way. Now if I want to add another boutique amp it's a $399 preamp vs. a 3-4K amp head.
I'm pretty sure there is a licensing deal with the original companies/designers when a Synergy unit is sold. There had to be some conversations otherwise Synergy would get slapped with a cease and desist order. I'm sure they are getting their fair cut.

Beautiful!! I own a IICP and it is outstanding, LOVE IT!!!
That was awesome, the end of that video was great your emotional connection to the gear and your legacy is apparent!
This unit is outstanding. What a marvelous recreation of a legendary preamp circuit.
You guys just saved me thousands of dollars! Thank you!
I totally want this. And Steve is a genius. The pitbull is the meanest amp I've played through.

Noted. We'll do better. Thanks!
I’m no expert, but it all looked fine to me !
Or just use an iPhone ;)
I noticed focus breathing but you should’ve been paying attention to all the toys on the shelf and then.... no problem.
He convinced me! I’m a die hard fan of those amps and I’m considering getting the system now 🤔🥳

Humbled. Thank you!
How are they through the Poweramp of s good quality amp?
Their stuff is not bulletproof

I didnt want this to end.... 😌
Very well said Steve
Thank you!

Yes, ffs, no one takes the bass away and they use too much of the clean gain
Damn. Your going to get my money.... seriously. Good stuff guys
I wonder if Mesa was approached about designing the module themselves like the other branded modules.
Steve's the GOAT
Mr. Fryette makes some awesome products. I had the synergy stuff for a while, it's definitely legit stuff.
You don’t have it anymore?
Very cool Stevie
Love the cut scenes with pseudo Metallica riffs 😅
Those tones sound exactly like Hardwired album more so than any other
I was thinking, it’s gotta be a long video to get to the end of this track.....
love this!
Thank you!
Very interesting!!!
Great as always Steve! Any plans for a Naylor SD60 inspired module?
Myasnikov does it.

@@FryetteAmps that's kinda the only channel you need on that amp. ;)
I need it!
would I get UL sound if I plug this module into Deliverance II poweramp ?
Hi can you please tell me which synergy modules can I use for bass guitar? 😉💚👽
So let me guess mesa boogie AkA Gipson is not willing to create there own synergy module?
Is it a wonderful HAMER, that you hold in your hands?

Did anyone catch the beard guy's demo? oof~!
Gives tacoma a name, 😂
Pretty sure I took IICP one time. Or maybe it was I.C.P.
I’ll see myself out.
Syn 1 ok....Syn 2 great..... next one should be called the "ultimate Syn"! Right?
I want to thank my mentors and competitor/Friends by cashing in with this module.

🤣
@@scottrand4857 The module is not branded Mesa, or Mark IIC+. They purposely say its is "inspired by". Mesa aren't getting a cut.
@@adamr8878 Surprising. It seemed like they established their "brand" by collaborating with the original owners of the design.

last attempts by amplifier manufacturers to sell unwanted junk.
Wut?
