Love this! Really fun video. Honestly, I'm just excited to finally be upgrading from my 2011 13" MacBook Pro so I can deal with a notch (which I really don't think is a big deal personally). Glad I waited cause what a year to upgrade!

The new MBPs seem wonderful. Not at a point to invest in one of the new ones, myself, but I applaud the improvements. My 2019 16" i9 and my 2020 13" M1 MBP will do good work for me for years to come. Enjoy watching you be excited about good tools. And cereal.

I luv my Touch Bar it gives it a more fancy look to the computer!! Also, I don’t like how thick the new one is they could added all them ports and still try to make it slim somehow we aren’t in early 2000s where computers were bulky and heavy

also- the moment you realize the touchbar was the cost point that made them eliminate ports and the moment the touchbar is eliminated suddenly ports. can't be mad at apple. they returned what pros needed.
My opinion is that culture has devolved to the point that each individual’s purchase decisions must be validated by everyone else or rage ensues. The biggest threat to Intel is cloud services that are OS Agnostic that allow the consumer and professional to select the computer that they enjoy using the most. 3D rendering and ProRes video are the reason I now own an M1 Max 14” MacBook Pro. Office 365 covers all the PC needs for my employer for example and runs great on the Mac even if Teams still is Rosetta 2. In the cloud, no one cares if I use APFS vs NTFS as it’s irrelevant now.

So I picked up the 2020 Pro this year (wish i had held out but it is what it is), and I enjoy pretty much everything about it with the exception of the lack of ports. I personally have no issue with the Touch Bar but I can understand why people would prefer actual Function keys.
I have been waiting for this video! Looking forward to your thoughts about the new 16 inch. I’m a media composer, but no one is testing them for that. Heavy Duty video editing is the closest thing to the stress I put a computer through.

Going from the 2018 MacBook Air to the MacBook Pro 14” is amazing. I can actually type on this thing, and plug in two hard drives AND charge AT THE SAME TIME. It’s amazing and Apple is so smart suckering me into upgrading to a 2300 dollar computer so I could enjoy the functionality of a normal computer.
But for real editing phots/video on it is a treat. I can paint stuff in Lightroom and there’s no delay, I look forward to skin retouching now, it’s crazy.
I just love this style of video.

Hi Sara, great video as usual. FYI, you don't have to press several times the touchbar to adjust volume or brightness. Just press it once, leave your finger on it and move your finger right or left to adjust 😉

We are so close to get that ASMR Peachy channel. I can already hear that 1 hour Judy prrrr helps you sleep.
I use both Mac and Windows computers. Depending on what im doing or my needs...makes that determination for me. My next mac buy is probably 3yrs down the road. But its nice to know about the changes being made along the way.

To change the brightness on the touch bar you can long press and slide your finger to adjust brightness. There is no need for multiple touches for brightness and volume.
