Friction Fire Willow with Bow Drill

Found a nice piece of Willow on a kayaking trip and wanted to try to make a fire with my bow drill. Rosebud was in town from Texas and had never seen a friction fire made (based on her attention span....she still hasn't...LOL).

Came back and watched this video again, 😁 it was just as enjoyable watching this time as it was the first time. I'm glad I did actually. I forgot about the willow part. Helps with making fire. And... as Survival Rosey eluded to, She didn't bring her lighter. I'll remember that... Bring a lighter just incase 🤫 🤭 Great video you guys 👍 Camp fire dria approves
