    Tied this pattern back in the late 90's for a shop in Hamilton MT. I occasionally add legs to pass for small hoppers. Over all I have found this pattern to be one of my favorites as a general searching pattern where ever caddis were present.

      Great call on legs! We've used both super floss and knotted pheasant tail. Both work great.

    The foam material is very nice. Looks to be very buoyant. Nice pattern.

    Why using foam with this technic. The foam lose its ability to float. If you use it without wrapping and just tie a piece of it close to the hook eye will be a different thing.
