    CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Evan (Ashton Kutcher) meets Kayleigh (Amy Smart) in an alternate reality where she is a drug addicted prostitute.
    FILM DESCRIPTION:
Final Destination 2 screenwriters Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber make their directorial debut with the sci-fi thriller The Butterfly Effect. Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher with facial hair) wants to free himself from his disturbing childhood memories. As a kid, he often blacked out for long periods of time and tried to detail his life in a journal. As a young adult, he revisits the journal entries to figure out the truth about his troubled childhood friends Kayleigh (Amy Smart), Lenny (Elden Henson), and Tommy (William Lee Scott). When he discovers he can travel back in time in order to set things right, he tries to save his beloved friends. However, he finds out that relatively minor changes can make major problems for the future. The Butterfly Effect also stars Eric Stoltz, Ethan Suplee, and Melora Walters. The title was inspired by the story A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury.

People say" live in the present, move on, yesterday is history", but the truth is that that past can so much make you what and who you are today and so many times people don't actually realize it. A tiny bit of something in the past can change an entire life history. I had a chilhood girlfriend and I had pure and true feelings for her. My family moved to France when I was fourteen. I just realized how much she meant to me once I was there. Till this day, I sometimes wonder what could have been if I had never left.

Something I've noticed, every time the timeline makes Kayleigh wind up unhappy/messed-up, her hair color is mousy and messy, but where she is happy/contended, her hair is blonde and straight. Not to mention her body is more toughed in her screwed-up scenarios compared to slimline of the happy ones. Pure props to Amy Smart for adapting so well to each and ever scenario. Ashton Kutcher also deserves similar, especially for the 2nd/frat boy timeline.

I'm a reasonably good-looking charismatic man, fit, tall and middle class. I've broken more women's hearts than I like to remember. I've never been proud of it, always hated the break-up moment, but I always thought they'd be better off without me. My last break-up she was 13 years younger than me. She started crying in the kitchen and asked me to tell her I loved her. I couldn't say the words. She broke apart. Fell on the floor crying. I had to call her sister to pick her up. I feel a knot in my gut every time I remember that or I watch this scene. I've pissed away so many chances of actual happiness that nobody would believe. I've met such great, faithful, nice, good-hearted, beautiful and accomplished women, but I still can't give myself completely. I don't regret never having done that, I regret all the pain I caused them. Hate myself for that. Damn, sometimes I hate myself.

I'm not sure whether I'm getting to your original comment, but maybe the sad truth here especially is that in the end, Evan himself was just not meant to be. *Painful!* I do wish they went also with the director's cut version, which had much more impact and conclusive, but the Hollywood executives didn't allow it. God knows why. To me, this movie is just criminally wasted.

The sad truth in this timeline is that she ended up being almost *just* like her brother. She had gone beyond the point of Evan being her Prince Charming and saving her. Maybe something/someone else out there still could and can, but Evan on his own was now flogging a dead horse. To anyone else who did not have his power to change/alter time, they would have to just let that person go.

I can't say that I can relate to this scene in any way but what I can say is I'm currently watching people change in a negative way, people I've known for well over 20 years. It's crazy because 20 years ago everybody I talked to seemed to be ok and now they're all going down this dark road in their lives. It sucks knowing that there's absolutely nothing I can do to help because they've shut down and their showing nothing but anger and resentment

They can make you forget that you are watching 2 people act out a script. They lose themselves in their work. They have ability to portray authentic, memorable characters very well. I love them both. INCREDIBLE WORK. The fact that Amy was able to play someone so damaged....you can tell she LOVED the variety of roles and exploring her darker/painful side in order to access such authenticity on screen.
The proof of their chemistry is in the pudding.
In real life, Astrologically speaking, they have matching moons. The moon rules your emotions and initial responses. They both have a moon in Aquarius. Even though that gives them a personal touch of “twin” energy (twin flames) but those with moon in Aquarius channel their emotions from a higher place. Another dimension. (Hence the reason why the lead actor Ashton truly had a time traveling ability and supposedly Jesus Christ had a moon in Aquarius...funny how Ashton’s character Evan was even able to get the “stigmata” (wounds of Christ) inside of the prison cell. He even said “Jesus sent me to your cell in order for you to help me” to his cell mate. He is even willing to bet him a pack of cigarettes if he is lying
It’s also funny that the moon rules your mind and the whole plot is centered around the ability to access his memories in order to alter them to a “better outcome”. Or so he thought...Love this movie forever!!!!!
