I am shocked you guys did not talk much at all about there warranty. The one super insane thing about raceland is the warranty they have and the fact that they really stand behind it. I have blow out front coils on my GTI. Sent them pictures and the stamping on the shock and they sent out a new pair for not even a penny. Shipping even covered.
Coworker of mine had the exact same situation. Front driver coil went and they shipped a replacement quickly with no questions asked. Sure they're cheap, but it's awesome that they stand behind their product like that.
I just got shipped a set of primos today that we’re missing a bushing on the rear shock, called customer service and they’re overnighting a whole new shock at no charge, don’t even need to send the bad one back. Even with that slight hiccup I’m totally satisfied with them

I actually emailed Raceland about the location of manufacturing. Turns out, designed and sold in the US, manufactured in Japan and Assembled in China :)
Being that racelands don't come with top hats or strut mounts, when I was 16 and had them on my 98 civic, my strut mount blew out and I didn't understand at the time that it had nothing to do with the raceland component. I shot them an angry email and they replied an hour later describing to me the scenerio and how it wasn't their product and how it could be fixed, and followed that up by saying that they would replace the coilovers if I really wanted them to, free of charge, despite the fact that the coilovers were still perfectly intact.
They emailed me after I purchased the Classic coilovers for my Miata saying " sorry, the coil overs you ordered are out of stock, and we wont have them until the end of the month, but you can upgrade to the Ultimo for no additional charge." I deffinatly took their offer. They have amazing customer service!
Got racelands for my first car, a 98 civic. They came to Toronto in 2 weeks and were used for 3 years, no problems, rode great and sold them for 200$ after ownership. No complaints and they did what I needed them to do, cheap stance
Raceland were my first suspension i ever bought and i never had any problems with them. I got into an accident with them once and they still held up really well and never blew on me even after transferring them onto my next car. They may not give the smoothest ride but other than that, i love the product and yes, customer service was always great! Great video guys~
I rocked the Raceland Ultimo Kit on my VW MK4 for several years and didn't have a single issue, ride wasn't harsh and they got as low as you could want. I'd purchase from them again.

I had them on a pro am drift car. They were supposed to be place holders while it sat and was rolled around a shop over the winter. Ended up keeping them on for a bit just because I felt like it. They worked surprisingly well. I replaced them with BCs because I have run them since 2010 on several cars and never had an issue and absolutely loved them. As for RL they did what they were supposed to got beat on and kept on kicking until I took them off and sold them. Last I checked they are still kickin it on another drift car.

I've been on raceland bags for a year and no complaints, I've had their coilovers before in highschool with no complaints, lil bumpy sometimes but better then any other coilover in the 400-600 range, I've never heard anything bad from them in the vw world, most volkswagens run raceland anyways. I read that they use NOK brand valving and assemble everything in house. I also know that they make the cheapo brand rokkor you see on ebay and amazon. Raceland is good beginner, oem grade/ replacement upgrade to get you low and reliable. I know a few people that have had them 50k-to almost 100k.
I ran them on my 2009 VW Rabbit. I'll admit the rear shock lower bushings failed while under warranty but that's also how I found out how great their service is. Fast responses and shipping of replacement part and also don't ask for the failed part to be returned. Now I'm on Neo Motorsports which are a Canadian brand that are quickly growing and have a really nice product for a mid level price, at least imo.
I'd love to see an episode on Godspeed. I have a buddy who slammed his 15' focus on $900ish godspeeds and hated them. They were brutally bumpy. He was totally against Godspeed until a guy showed him his higher end godspeeds and he fell in love. He ended up upgrading to them and absolutely loves it.

I am currently going through school and paying for it out of pocket with two jobs so I can’t buy super pricy coilovers at the moment. But I’ve heard great things about Raceland and a lot of people seem to love them.
Not even going to lie to you. I was like 98% set on racelands before this video because of their warranty and "actual customer" reviews. This put me over the top and I placed my order for a set of Primos mid video. Thanks! I think a lot of the hate comes from people who paid a lot more (Sometimes 3xs the price) and realize they paid for a name and not the actual quality
This made me feel so much better about the raceland coils I’m installing on my GTI this weekend. People trash them on the Vortex so I was a little nervous. More excited now though.
This fantastic well meaning video is contradictory to my experience with Raceland Europe based in Northern Ireland. I got the t230's for 7th gen Toyota Celica, there were extra hidden costs in additional hard wear required to fit the coilovers that the sales rep assured me I can just use the stock parts, warranty states must be fitted by a professional so that was a cost factor too. There were some simple queries regarding the install that resulted in Raceland hanging up and refusing to communicate with me, even when they did communicate prior to this it took days for canned answers. They then decided it would be o.k to communicate through facebook which they then later blocked, again leaving me unable to arrange the return or come to any reasonable result. I had been very patient with Raceland even though the ordeal left me unable to get to work or take my Mum to her hospital appointments. My experience is with Raceland Europe based in Coleraine in Northern Ireland.
video is spot on, i just got ultimos for my 350z and i absolutely love them. The ride is a little stiffer than stock but they still ride really nice not to mention the lifetime warranty like cmon. why not.
I was convinced by a friend who ran racleands on his XB. Did some research and bought the Raceland Ultimo's for my 350z and my god are they great! Love them and are stiff as a rock
I need to replace the rear shocks for an '03 Focus ZX3 and stumbled across this video. It's funny because I was just on the Raceland website and saw the price and wanted to investigate further. I don't need anything track-worthy. I just need some new, safer units and I've long wanted to lower the car an inch or two mostly for aesthetics...without a lot of hassle or spending through the nose. I was skeptical of this video and initially thought it was a long-winded stealth ad for Raceland until I saw that Fitment is actually a competitor. I truly appreciate the honest evaluation. We could use more of that these days. Liked and Subscribed (incl. bell).
Since you only want to lower your suspension 1 to 2 inches you will have even less of a bumpier ride. But honestly even with racelands cranked all the way down on my MK3 VW I didnt have a harsh ride at all.
ive ran a few sets of Raceland for quite awhile on two previous cars, one set on a 2012 scion tc and another on a 350z. they are perfect for getting low on a budget. normal everyday driving and spirited driving is fine. i can't comment on track quality but thats not their market
As a quick question, did you run any other coils on the tC? I ran a set a Teins (~$1100) that felt like garbage and a cheaper set of KSports (~$700) that have felt like heaven.
I had "Ultimos" on a 12v VR Mk3 Jetta, and I liked em. I ran the earlier/"normal"/non Ultimo raceland coilovers on a 2.slo Mk3 Golf and I wasn't as happy with them. This was probably 7-8 years ago, now; so I'm sure there has been improvment.
I've driven a LOT of different BRZ suspension setups (racelands, bc, isc, Bilstein, kw V1, v3, rce t0, t2, Ohlins r&t, dual valve, tien z flex, a flex, Megan's, etc etc etc). Suspension is a whole different ball game than wheels. There is much more than just "they look good and don't fracture when loaded". Good suspension is +$5k (JRZ, AST, Mortin, Ohlins dual valve, Penske, etc). Mid range stuff is $2-3k (Ohlins R&T, KW V3, RCE T2, etc). Entry level is $1500-2k (KW V1, RCE T0, Fortune Auto, Bilstein B16, etc). Any less than that is almost garenteed to ride worse and handle worse than your stock suspension. Even most of the Entry level stuff is out-classed by aftermarket springs and dampers (Bilstein, koni, etc). Suspension is a black art and everything I've driven not from one of the big boys has been awful. If you just want to slam your car and you never have to commute in it and don't plan on racing, you'll love racelands. Otherwise, just don't.
You're crazy if you think Fortune Auto is an "entry level" company. For any serious corner carving, I'd take a perfectly set-up 510 over a KW V3 any day. As far as coilovers like Raceland go, it's not hard at all to make a fixed rate damper that is valved to a single spring rate. It won't be the best thing since sliced bread, but at least it is valved for the spring that comes with it. It's hard to properly combine after market springs and dampers unless you plan to have the shocks revalved.
I just wanted a 1.5" on my rsx that's why I chose Raceland a little more than drop springs and new struts would be i get my drop and adjustable if I wanna go lower.
I ran race land coilovers on an 07 vw rabbit for 10 years and 130k miles - 0 problems, would I take them on a track, no, but for day to day functionality for a great price, no one comes close
My 08 Civic si coupe has racelands on it. They came with the car, previous owner put them on. They have bit of a rough ride, but they seem to handle well and I’ve driven the car HARD and it’s been fine. It’s worked for me so far lol.
watcha wanna wife 4 if she dont do the laundry? can she change the roof on the house? do the gutter maintenance? I cant understand the stupid washing machine... my lady does that magic stuff....an the clothes comes out the same colour as it went in!!! last time I tried I made everything pink, its witchcraft bro, its witchcraft!
Raceland is a great product, people are just having too high of expectations, they are good enough to track on performance wise but comfortable enough to daily. You arent going to get 2 thousand dollar coilover quality with camber plates and 60 way adjustable dampening out of a 400 dollar set of coilovers but i will say they are on par with 800 to 1000 dollar brands i have come across especially the ones with adjustable dampening. Also they provide you a lifetime warranty that INCLUDES normal shock wear so you pretty much never need to buy another set again unless you change vehicles. I have not seen one other brand with this kind of warranty yet. I havent even had to use it in a year and a half.
Looks like I’m getting some race lands for my is350 for my first coil overs I like to do some digging before I prurchase and I’m hearing very good outcomes there will always be bad reviews with any products even then best products but Race lands seem the way to go thanks for the info man !
I Used To Be Broke, And I Cant Say Im Still Broke Depends On What You Define Broke, I Can Afford BC But I Chose To Use Raceland On My G35, I Ordered G35 Coilovers And Turns Out I Needed G37 Coilovers, But I Called Raceland And We Went Back And Forth With A Couple Reasons Why My Car Didnt Lower Enough, Turns I Did Use G35 Coilovers, They Had No Issue Receiving The Old Coilovers And Refunding Me My Money, They Sent Out The G37 Coilovers And They Fit Perfect, I Still Havent Had Issues With Raceland But Im Also Not Drifting My Car, Dont Be Afraid Of Raceland, The Internet Just Wants To Justify Their Spending Of 1k+ Dollar Suspension!
What year g35 do u have? Cause i was looking on racelands website and it said that they fit 2003-2008 g35s which makes no sense because the 2007-8 ones are completely different
Not heard of raceland here in the uk. So cant comment on if they are any good. I run Bilstein b14's on my Astra VXR. Never had a problem with them. Well made. Great for country switchback road blasts. Hold the road incredibly well. I still think the best in the biz is Öhlins though. Maybe you guys could do a vid on Öhlins? Show people what the difference is when you do pay top money.
I hated racelands after buying cars equipped with their coilovers but after going to their HQ here in Utah, they're actually really good people that want the kids to be able to customize their cars like they wished they could in high school.
Well you get what you pay for, their higher priced stuff is pretty good but if you're a broke kid in the hood you're ballin if you have any adjustable suspension. Most people just cut their springs when they're in high school.
Josh Frost was asking cause I’m thinking about getting some coilovers on a budget, just looking for a quick swap out of the stocks that blew out with at least stock comfort and ride reliability. Ain’t looking to drop or track, just meet oem expectations. You think these would b a wise buy for my G37s
@@swervv2957 out of the box they'll drop the ride height an inch or 2. With my wrx I can't get that stock height back but if you're looking for comfort or anything specific, they'll answer any questions you have and give you great recommendations. I think they're the best choice if you're looking for reliability on a budget
Thank you for this... Suspension is SHOT! Low on funds and really need my RS to be ready for winter, and living where I do, I want some adjustable suspension. Seeing as this will be my first install of this type, any tips? Awesome vids! Subbed :D

Raceland is doing what I’ve always think of. If I can create good quality car parts, why not sale them cheaper so everyone can buy them?? Well, in this case, only those who can’t pay for overpriced parts will buy them. Those who can pay for overpriced part, won’t buy Raceland just to flex and bragg about buying the expensive part!!
Found a wheel history video last week. I've now watched them all lol. Love your vids bro. I'm looking to buy some wheels for my Yaris in the next 6 months.
Yesterday I've bought my first set of coilovers. And its a Raceland ones. Since my budget ir low, i bought them used (full set for only 20 euros (~22$)). I hope they act well :D
i have a set of raceland coilovers on my 04 wrx been running them for about 8 months now. i like em havent had any major problems either for the price they really cant be beat. i drive pretty aggressive on them i did have to call customer service once because the top bolt hole is slotted so you can run more camber and i didnt tighten the bolt down to torque spec so they kept sliding around but once i called about it they told me to tighten them to torque spec and i haven't had any trouble since
On pricing you missed a step, man. Manufacturers in auto industry typically sell to large distributors, automotive suppliers, not end sellers, i.e. retail stores. Distributors mark the product up and then sells it to the retail stores that sells it to us, the end user. The retailers also have to mark the product up in order to make a profit and that's why factory direct sales can be so much cheaper, they cut out both the distributor AND the retail stores from the distribution channel.
Technically speaking, "Raceland" is the dealer for a Chinese manufacturer. And, its a manufacturer that has many other popular "dealers" in the United States (ex. Function&Form, D2, K-Sport, Rokkor, and several others.) And, for anyone wanting a definitive difference between a cheap, Chinese coilover and one that has better product development... look no further then a Shock Dyno. It'll easily point out the flaws in the dampening ability for you. While these brands (much like XXR) are exceedingly popular, its rare to ever see someone continue to use them when exiting the "initial stages of tuning" and becoming more serious about their automobile.
RobTapps88 as i said drunk .... br series is a sub thousand dollar coil over dude, race lands are 450$ coils that dont have dampening.... just take a lap bud
I know you have already done a Raceland suspension video, but would it be possible to compare the new Rev 9 suspension company, Godspeed, and Raceland and rank them 1 through 3 to help those of us out that aren’t sure which ones to go with if they’re on the very budget and new side when it comes to building their car? Thanks!
Ran them on my daily Miata for 4 years. Never had an issue with them other than the dust accordion thing tearing right away. Just don’t be dumb and take out the helper spring and they should last you. I drove on mine reasonably hard but never tracked them.
been thinking about getting a set for my genesis coupe, so far ive heard nothing but good things and im not looking to make it an expensive build so they might be the move!
I had raceland coilovers on my 08 civic si. They dropped the car super low and the ride was still alright. But the top plate on my rear passenger side coilover was broken. And I tried to contact raceland to get a replacement part and they basically told me to buy a whole new set of coilovers.. mine were only a year old and they fucking broke. I didn't mind the product.. until it broke.. then the customer service was absolute garbage!
Yeah that sounds like a garbage experience. Well when you are ready to order another set we have an awesome team that would love to get you in a new set of Coils man! bit.ly/2p2oJa5 🙏🏼
@@FitmentIndustries thanks. Sold the civic.. had to buy something "practical" for the fam 🙄 so I got a 2010 touareg. AND IM BAGGING IT!! in December I'll be ordering a air kit from you guys.

Thanks for the information on raceland. I was looking at them because of the lifetime warranty, and the price is better than eBay coilovers. I just need something to replace blown out oem struts, and for some reason, oem struts are the same price as the coilovers. Ordering a set today New years even 2024. Let's go into 2025 alive. I want to bring them back...
ever seen msrp? yes, dealers DO mark quite a bit... if you know how managerial accounting works... you get to see just how things are priced and how much things are marked up...
Raceland is better than expected, my civic is lower, definitely sharper corner, stiffer when it needs to be and soft on bumps and potholes. Not to mention lifetime warranty even on wears.
I live in the rust belt. I know that if I run coilovers, the salt will ruin them and make them non-adjustable. Does it make sense to buy a cheap set with a good warranty? Worse case scenario, I have to buy another $400 set of coilovers. Hmm. Why did I not think of this until now?
Rust is not that bad problem that you could not run quality coils. Protect adjustment screws(electric tape etc),and if you live in areas where everything rusts, there possibly is that time of year when you have to use winter tires, when you swap them remember to lube your adjustment threads.
I am shocked you guys did not talk much at all about there warranty. The one super insane thing about raceland is the warranty they have and the fact that they really stand behind it.
Function and form next! My tsx has been dumped on those for 2 years with daily driving. Excellent ride quality and not a single complaint.
Deal!
Even IF they don't or will ever make something for my car, I've been waiting for this review! Thanks!
Did you enjoy it?!
video is spot on, i just got ultimos for my 350z and i absolutely love them.
Vandale you got any pics of the xb?? Figuring out which to get on mine and want to see stance and or the low I could get.
Liked and Subscribed (incl. bell).
Glad to have you on board, my man! 🙌
Thanks for the feedback!
As a quick question, did you run any other coils on the tC? I ran a set a Teins (~$1100) that felt like garbage and a cheaper set of KSports (~$700) that have felt like heaven.
Varg Sutton how was the 350z ride quality?
Okay I need to point out that all of your video thumbnails are amazing!
That g35 sedan was just so perfect 👌
I rock Racelands on 91' foxbody. I have to say they are great. I have no problem with them at all. I would recommend them with no problem.
That's what we hear! Nothing but good things.
I ran race land coilovers on an 07 vw rabbit for 10 years and 130k miles - 0 problems, would I take them on a track, no, but for day to day functionality for a great price, no one comes close
I've enjoyed mine on my 07 cobalt ss. Corners more solid. Overall better stability on the highway too. Oh yeah, makes my car look sexier too!
You guys have the best customer service !!!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
ive had racelands in my my06 impreza for like 7 years. Ive had 0 problems with them across 2 imprezas.
Thanks for the great video team!!!
My 08 Civic si coupe has racelands on it. They came with the car, previous owner put them on. They have bit of a rough ride, but they seem to handle well and I’ve driven the car HARD and it’s been fine. It’s worked for me so far lol.
Ran these on my Miata before changing over to Flyin' Miata. I had no problem with the RLs.
Nice video man.
Keep putting wifey on the spot like that and she will make laundry one of YOUR permanent chores... lol
Alex is just refusing to go home. Send help.
watcha wanna wife 4 if she dont do the laundry? can she change the roof on the house? do the gutter maintenance?
Raceland! literally got the coils to me in canada in 4 days
I Have 2007 G35
Watched the video when i got them and now 15000+km later still rides like its new. Realy good product for its price.
Glad to hear your loving the suspension kit you got! You should upload your ride to our gallery! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
Will do when I get my new wheels. 😼
Another great video Alex! Thanks for this!! I got my ST coilovers in less than 2 days from you guys!! Still awaiting my wheels ! 👍🏼
Thanks! Super happy to hear. Send us photos when you get everything!
Just got for my 99 Passat and I love it
I had a set of racelands on my mk4 jetta and they were pretty bouncy but really weren't as bad as people make them seem.
They really arent!
If you add your car to. our gallery we will ;)

Fitment Industries done. Had to save it as a Opel Vectra as thats the closest you've got. But its up on there.
I have them on my IS300 and have no complaints.
I have them in my civic, comfort for daily driving and a sportier handling, and a lifetime warranty including wear.
I hated racelands after buying cars equipped with their coilovers but after going to their HQ here in Utah, they're actually really good people that want the kids to be able to customize their cars like they wished they could in high school.
Thats so dope !
....but there Coilovers still suck? Honest opinion?
Subbed :D
Absolutely! Glad you found this video helpful! Shoot us an email to get help with getting a suspension kit as well as some help if you have any questions! Shop@fitmentindustries.com 🔌
Just bought their Primo's with the monotube option! They only had 2 sets left in stock lol
Can you use those for a 08 G37s coupe rwd
Can you do a video on tein suspension please 😁 thank you and keep the videos coming. 👍🏼
Absolutely man! Any specific topic you'd like to hear us cover?
Fitment Industries lowing springs would be great 🙏🙏
Found a wheel history video last week. I've now watched them all lol. Love your vids bro. I'm looking to buy some wheels for my Yaris in the next 6 months.
Thanks, bro! If you need help with fitment or have any questions shoot us an email! Shop@fitmentindustries.com
Had ultimos on my b5, no complaints
5 years with mine in the daily, and honestly would do it again. I was shocked to see almost all positive reviews too.
did u get the regular racelands or the raceland ultimos
@@ethanatun6665 blue and white so I think the reg ones or the middle of the road ones
They are great. They offer lifetime warranty too.
Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Uzi vert song is back!!!!!!!!! Let’s go!!!!!
ayyy!!!
I got ultimos I been running , I replaced my KYB agx with these , considering the agx were original and blown
Finally got the real review behind this company, and I’m definitely getting the raceland ultimo coils now
As you said entry level coil over anyone trying to compare these to bc hsd ect is drunk
shayne BC Racing's BR series is entry level... Racelands are just cheap...lol
RobTapps88 as i said drunk .... br series is a sub thousand dollar coil over dude, race lands are 450$ coils that dont have dampening.... just take a lap bud
Fake news, I would rather walk than give up my b.c. coils and bbs wheels for racelands and xxr's
Scott Gray dont worry guys drunk as fuk
LOL at thinking bc is some quality suspension
This cannel is one of the best, I repeat one of the best!!!
Thanks, man! Stay tuned we have some killer content coming!
Fitment Industries I’m always awaiting new content from you guys! Just keep being you and keep the humor coming! We love it!!!
I ran Racelands for a while and had no issues.
Raceland taught me "you get what you paid for".
stevevang03 if you needed something serious why did you settle for the cheapest thing
D Carden it wasn't anything serious that's why.
So what happen
YAY SUSPENSION VIDEOS! Can you cover Bilstein or Solowerks???
Absolutely!
been thinking about getting a set for my genesis coupe, so far ive heard nothing but good things and im not looking to make it an expensive build so they might be the move!
Watching this looking at raceland coilover for a 03 Forester looking for something a step above stock
Bro I just bought em for my 2003 fozzy ill tel you how it goes gotta wait afew days for shipping...coming from maxpeedingrods...the gross licking rings seized up really bad and I ended up damaging it and the warranty from Raceland I don’t think anyone can beat them
Thanks for the information on raceland. I was looking at them because of the lifetime warranty, and the price is better than eBay coilovers. I just need something to replace blown out oem struts, and for some reason, oem struts are the same price as the coilovers. Ordering a set today New years even 2024. Let's go into 2025 alive. Make 2025 1998 every weekend. If you had a car, you were out on your local main street, fast cars, loud music, and the smell of hydronic fluid burning during low rider hope offs. 😢 I miss those days. I want to bring them back...
For what you pay for suspension replacement from a wrecking yard in comparison these are great if your shocks are dead these are better then stock
ever seen msrp? yes, dealers DO mark quite a bit... if you know how managerial accounting works... you get to see just how things are priced and how much things are marked up...
Gecko Suspension Systems. growing company in AU that started on the OEM side and has recently branched into custom Suspension Systems
I had raceland ultimos on my mazda 3 they were amazing!!
Good to hear!
How low did the go?
Most tangible sales dealers have a x3 mark up on their products. Cars, furniture, jewelry etc.
I will be going on a hunger strike until the AccuAir video is uploaded. Your move, Alex.
I went to college and lived off dry Ramen and free bagels. You better stock up.
Just bought ultimos for my 350z.. We'll see! Brb.
