I really think it would be cool to make guilds be able to essentially make a fleet where one player can have the option to join another player on the same sea, but in a separate ship through the guild; as well as more people be able to join on a ship instead of just 4 on a gallion and 3 on a brig. Also being able to upgrade your ship to make it stronger. A lot of people might say that it isn’t fair to have so many team ships and man power on one server. But it isn’t a pirate themed game without that sense of things being unfair sometimes and the ability to have different advantages. This would give the game so much potential.
If they made safe seas what it is now and what you’re talking about in the dangerous seas, I feel that would really fit and give players the variety option
There is just so much potential behind this game just across the board but the devs absolutely refuse to budge on any part of it because PvP sweats can't comprehend anyone liking anything but PvP. The fact you can't even use captained ships in safer seas is just insane. The reasoning of "we don't want people to get milestones in safety" is straight bullshit. They made it so easy to just pay someone to join another person's guild and exclusively sail their ship around to do the things they want for them which is WAY worse than farming it yourself in a confided setting; unless you are okay with RMT and if you are you have much bigger issues. The funniest part to me is ok, you don't want milestones achieved while in safer seas...so don't let the game save their progress for them. Pause all milestone progression while the ship is in safer seas. The fact that the devs don't even acknowledge this as an option is proof they are just burring their heads in the sand because they think they are smarter than everyone else. They do not care about the quality of the game, they only care about as big of a bottom line with as little effort as physically possible (and some vastly over inflated pride). I bet they don't even play the game. So much for those precious milestones they want to protect so viciously. XD The most ironic part is that if they allowed more casual people to play it the way they actually want to, those dreams of a massive bottom lines would come true. Safer Seas was a half assed implementation of what people wanted which is why it wasn't as profound as it should have been; another great call by the devs there. Literally every study shows that "casual gamers" are responsible for a lions share of the money spent in games every year. Letting them use what they buy with that money in the area they want, aka safer seas, would do nothing but boost the game. But by all means, all the PvP sweats keep mocking the casuals and then wonder why your favorite game is dying if not dead. To anyone who thinks I'm wrong about "casuals" in gaming, go look at how many unique downloads the seamless mod for Elden Ring has. It has just as many unique DLs on PC alone (becuse you cant really mod consoles) as SoT has across ALL platforms. Total DLs blows SoT clean out of the water.
It would be really nice if they would add more sea life like (killer)whales maybe a new boss like moby dick and then have whaling quests for HC or something just like in AC 4
@Maethendias yeah but that would mainly incentive people who've played the game for a long time to hunt people who haven't played as much or as often which would in return make them not want to play. I love pvp, and it can get boring without experiencing it through the game but letting reapers of whom tend to be people who souly make pvp everything against a crew who maybe only cares about merchant voyages. I mean that's definitely a flameheart thing to do, but it just feels like it would hurt one side of the community more
@Maethendias I mean yeah that's fair. If they do a bounty system though it should be like hourglass where you can only target similar ships maybe not crew size but just ships cause a galleon having a bounty for a solo sloop would just be pitiful.
As a reaper seeing more love would be amazing its so weird to "help captian flameheart" and then sink his armada destroy his forts all while being under his flag of the reapers and then he pays you through his cultist it all feels wrong imo
Yeah, I thought I was the only one who felt that way. It would be cool to see more of the rivalry of captain flameheart and the athena play out and go into action in the game and avoiding that wierd thing where reapers are kind of going against captain flameheart.
I doubt it's really on their radar but I hope the different meg types get differentiated by more than just appearance and rarity. Maybe different attacks and mechanics, like one Meg could get it teeth stuck in your ship that need to be removed with attacks before you can repair, or an attack from below that you counter by dropping your anchor on the meg
@@AgentMurdenlvl cap is total BS. Who does it harm if someone is doing legend stuff but only plays SS. I do my Athena's in the Roar in the last 3 months I have seen 3 boats got sunk by 1 and the other 2 we just ignored each other.
why did it take so long to do this its been in the game for years and all you do is sell fish to them why didnt rare make a season about this instead of adding a bunch of bad weapons every season

Ive been talking about a "flagship" type of system for a while too.
There is so much potential for Hunters. Tbh, it won't take much to make me happy as i love it anyway.

i feel like incentivizing people to play with each other in a pvx game is something the game has been desperately needing for half a decade
