@@Gieszkanne Uh, yeah, well I believe Hickok was being a TAD facetious in the title of this video... just a tad... and the commenter did say "a solid core" which, I believe, suffices to relay the intent... which, I believe until UA-cam goes full stupid (could happen anytime) and bans everything down to and including water pistols on their platform, guarantees even a solid minimum of viewers on this form.

As a criminal, I rely on this channel to help me figure out how to operate the firearms I have stolen. As a video suggestion, it would also be nice to figure out how to bypass the password lock on a secondhand computer, or how to exit the back of a police car while wearing handcuffs. The full length videos are great because they are just long enough that I can watch one between prison sentences.

Hickok45 you and John have been doing great videos. If the anti gun people would watch your videos they would see why we want to keep our 2A rights. It's plain fun and it can build great memories having fun at the range. No tactical, no politics, just fun and being outdoors. My step Dad took me shooting and hunting and fishing, I lost my step Dad in 2008 and when I go to the range that we shot at, I can feel him with me. Thank You

I was a police officer for 36 years. It was interesting how many times during undercover operations or during the execution of a no knock search warrant that we would see the suspects were watching Cops on TV. Trying to learn what they can and put it to bad use. I enjoy watching your reviews of firearms and just hearing your views in general.

Cyber security analyst here. We run into the same problem with making content. You get both professionals and criminals, but ultimately it's just the nature of the beast. Knowledge is power and can be used for both good and evil. If you don't get both responsible law abiding people and non law abiding people, you probably aren't spreading anything worth mentioning. Hey, first time gun users (not necessarily owners) have to start somewhere! Just a country boy/soldier here. Military firearms are very limited and most of the force doesn't touch weapons that often. I appreciate the variety of weapons you highlight!

Just because someone is breaking the law doesn’t make them the bad guy. There are too many laws. I break the unconstitutional ones every day and I am proud of that. Anyone who doesn’t like that can find a new country IMHO.
Five felonies a day on average. There are so many laws on the books that nobody knows them all. The books to contain them wouldn't all fit on your bed without collapsing the bed frame.
If you aren’t breaking certain laws you are part of the problem!

I found your channel years after I got out of the service, because I came to the realization that I only really knew one gun really well, and didn't know much about the various kinds of guns out there. I find it's usually civilians who are better informed and trained than your average police officer or soldier because firearms are only part of their job and from what I gather... Look at it this way, I worked for a gunshop in South Africa and we told the local police station that their members could use our indoor range without a range fee. How many many do you think bothered? One. If he came with a partner the partner would sit and drink coffee in the gunshop. Hundreds of officers were based there....

I like Mr Hickok and his channel. He reminds me of my father who loved guns and hunting with a passion few people I’ve met have - and yet he respected both guns and prey with a worldly grounded personality which is so rare in our “influencer” society nowadays. Everything had a purpose that everyone could relate to.
I only learned how to shoot rifles, and the at-4 rocket, m240b, m249 saw, the m27 iar, m32 and the 50 cal machine in the Corps but never a single handgun. I honestly learned a lot about handguns from you so much appreciated.
I mean, for me personally I like watching your videos because it’s fun. You’re never super serious or pretending to be an operator, you’re just shooting guns in the back yard and giving occasional history lessons on them and just having light hearted fun. As you always say “life’s good”.
