That’s a nice looking trailer man, good find on that. I plan on getting one for my kayak soon. Man that beer sounds pretty good, definitely gonna have to try one of those
Ha! I sympathize with your joy on changing from car-top to a trailer. I was toping my AP136 on my Nissan Xterra and it was a rough and a time-suck as well. I lived in denial that is was "good exercise" to crush disks in my back. Once it almost blew off the crossbars/roof in a 20 mph wind (I had to catch it from the hood) so that made my decision to go to the trailer. After getting over the "backing-trailer-into-dock-anixiety", I realized it was a game changer.
Good stuff bruh, I have the ascend and its 13' and even heavier than the I pilot 136. I think I'm going to go ahead and buy the 136 also but as you know the struggle is real with those big yaks. I just bought a nice, enclosed trailer to haul toys around, but I think the jet ski conversion is the best way to go at this point.
Excellent work with the conversation 👏 to a kayak trailer, it looks really awesome my brother. I also have the autopilot 120 an need a trailer. I've seen a lot of videos on the harbor freight trailer an im thinking of going in that direction myself. Will continue looking around mean while . Thanks for the video very very awesome work brother.
Thank you for speaking on being black in the kayak community. I’m about to purchase the new Native X. It will be my first kayak. As a disabled veteran, I’m looking forward to meeting other kayak anglers. I just found your channel, it great. I’m a big kayak USA fan also!!
Looks like it works great. I’m getting ready to convert a jet ski trailer this weekend. A couple of questions if you don’t mind. 1.) Are the carpeted bunks on your trailer 6’? If so, do they do the job or do you recommend making them longer? 2.) Could you provide a link for the ratcheting straps you used to hold it down? 3.) I couldn’t find the link to the new wheels you put on it. Thanks
When you modify something for a different purpose you change it into something new. You think you keep messing up by referring to it as a kayak trailer while I believe that referring to it that way is proper and correct. Keep up the good work. I didn't notice that you were using the winch for anything other than a bump stop. You can gain valuable inches by removing the winch and converting it to a static bump stop.
Looks good. I take my pick up everywhere i stack a 120 pdl and a big water. Definitely need someone to help me get it on/off. I broke my rudder control knob trying to do it myself.
It appears at 1:33-1:35 you can see that the ball on your ball mount is extremely loose my friend. I'd double check that ASAP!!! Tight lines bro. 🎣
@15:44 you might want to tighten that ball or you might not have a trailer and kayak when you get to your next destination.
PondBoy is the Bomb in the jet ski trailer conversion, can’t wait to see him fish!
Nice video! Might want to tighten your trailer ball, have a good one.
That hitch ball needs to be tightened down a bit. Man that wiggle.

You need to tighten your ball, it was loose. You don’t want it to vibrate off the hitch.
I sure looks like a well built trailer in the first place. With the things you’ve added on, it’s awesome! Really good job my friend!

I like your positivity keep on keeping on man!
You did a sweet yak hauler. I just finished my shoreland'r for my Jackson and Ocean Kayak.
Kayak USA is good. In the process of converting my 20’ boat trailer into a multi kayak hauling beast with storage and accessories
Cool trailer!
Sweet setup, thanks for sharing!
(1:35) ya might wanna tighten that ball on the hitch................
Great video thank you

I am in the process of updating my resently purchased jet ski/ kayak trailer for my Auto pilot 120. Did you used 6 ‘ rachet straps?
Enjoyed your video and your enthusiasm.
Looks like flat bunks worked out well?
Nice job
Whats the link for the rims?? Couldn't see it

where did u order or get the retractable ratcheting straps? do you have a link?
New to kayak fishing, need your advice. Out in SACRAMENTO CA
Grease those bearings maybe a new pair to be safe!
I just bought this same trailer for $500 and it's in excellent shape. I'm stoked
One thing to consider, even though it is a jet ski trailer the hubs are not 100% water proof. Be sure to check and regrease your bearings.
Where did you buy the retractable ratchet straps? Awesome video I have the AP136.
I'm looking for an accend 133x and you gave me a great idea
What part of Texas?
What is the total length of this trailer?
OTWI (On The Water Innovations) ?
Don’t lie fat tire is nasty.
