I bought the EX Launch Edition 11 months ago and I love it. I've already put on 28,000 miles on it and there aren't any problems to report.
Sporty drive, beautifully designed, fuel efficient, comfortable, and packed with tech and other awesome features!
Two people thought it was an Acura when looking at it from side profile.
My hopes are to take this baby to at least 250,000 miles! 🤞
I drove this yesterday & it was an awesome drive! The car looks fantastic.
where did you drive this?
tark us00 In Brunei Kia Showroom
thx Pg. did it feel and drive as well as the current Elantra?? thx again.
tark us00 It felt more better than the elantra. Smoother ride & more spacious interior.
Well explained..... One of the best reviews i ever seen...
Thank you so much!
OMG this looks like it will be the segment leader
Justin Negrón nah. The next Mazda 3 will be. Either way, most dopes will but the crappy Carolla anyway, even if they don’t upgrade it for ten years
If the rear vents make it to the US, it will be an industry first.
looking into this car for my next week buy. fantastic video! earned a like and a sub from me.
Can't wait to test drive it. I like your review.
Harman kardon sound system is not standard.... it’s only available in the top trim ...
When they warranty CVT transmission 200,000 miles , then I'll buy one . For now I'll keep my old Honda
Where is the 1.6T? CVT and low torque numbers? Not a fan.
how much Nm torque ?
End of the day still a korean made car
Is that not a good thing?
I thought there was a sport version rs forte or something
No word on the sport version yet. I will keep you posted.
Carlos Ochoa yeah i hope kia can have a koup version like the first gen
How much for a loaded one?
Prices have not yet been announced but I expect it to be similarly priced as the 2018 model.
^^
Fourth Gen....the first car was 2004 LD Series, Second gen....TD was 2010, Third gen (2013) was YD and this car is the fourth iteration.....you said third generation....
RCBM The Forte started in 2008 in South Korea. It has a first gen, a second, a second with face lift and this one, the third gen.
Yackov86 So how do you account for the 2004 LD Series car then? I know this because I worked for Kia and saw the introduction of this model line. The LD series also built in South Korea. Have a look at Wikipedia which concurs with my comments.
RCBM Oh, I see what you mean. That model is what I call the Spectra. Depending on the contry it is called the Spectra, Cerato and Sephia. I guess you are right to say that this forte is the forth gen. However, I think it is also right to say it is the third gen. The forte came to replace the Spectra, but I think it is an upgrade to the Cerato in the countries it is called that way. I guess it depends on the country. In Puerto Rico (at least it is the third gen).
"Intelligent" cvt
"Mimics tradition auto shifts"
"Sporty"
Bullshit.
hahaha right?
Get this cvt crap away from me. Sick and tired of this shit.
Unfortunately, seems to be spreading like a disease.
Sideways at 11 it's especially disappointing coming from Kia. Kia/Hyundai were supposed to the last bastion of anti-cvt resistance. I suppose it's only a matter of time before Hyundai puts cvts in the Elantra... Thank god I just recently bought a 2018 Elantra. I'm safe from cvts for the next 10 years at least.
I think manufactures in efforts to get more MPG’s are being forced to convert to CVT transmissions.
NEVER ! NEVER BUY A CVT TRANSMISSION ! CVT DO NOT LAST ! YOU Will be sorrryfool!
Mick G Why?
Sadly underpowered
As most cars are in this class.
The Forte and Elantra share the same engines except for the 200 hp Turbo, that makes no sense. Both are exceptional cars but the Forte is no longer competitive with the Elantra - that makes no sense.
