TRAILER: Hemphill Bald-Rough Fork Loop - 2022 JULY (Sylvan Reflections)

On this Smokies backpacking trip, I finish off some of the last few trails in the SE part of the Smoky Mountains! I did a loop of Hemphill Bald-Caldwell Fork & Rough Fork trails and camped at the beautiful Campsite 41! There was high elevation ridgeline trails, sweeping vista of Hemphill Bald, heavy rain (trails become rushing creeks), beautiful array of wildflowers, ferns and even a few animals along the way! Gotta love the Smoky Mountains!
