What's up guys! Its the beginning of the new year and I want to start off with a Bang or should I say with Bright Light. That's right, I'm installing a 6 ft long LED light strips on to my scooter. This is not really a how to install led color lights on a scooter video. But rather just me just trying to change the look of my scooter up, by attaching some colorful strip lights.

I buy led strip bar light for luggage box when turn on taillight it wire to it turn signal & brake light plus taillight more lights to it!

How long does the battery last? I'm thinking of doing this with my scooter, but still deciding if I should just stick on a battery pack or play with connecting it to the scooter's wiring
That's a great mod for a midnite rider. I didn't know it was that cheap and easy, also I like that you don't have to wire it into your scooter. another great video, HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ! ! ! !

That’s really cool. I could really use something like this in my car for underneath my dashboard. If I drop anything the interior lights doesn’t light up the floorboards. Looks really good!

I LIKE IT. I see in one of your comments below you say that such lights in Texas can be illegal WHEN DRIVING such as Red and Blue (cop lights) and Green and Yellow because they are traffic light colors. Up here in New York we also have such restrictions. But, I wonder if we could have White lights on while we're driving. After all, our headlights put out a White light. I just like the idea of BEING MORE VISIBLE at night especially on streets without lights and when someone is coming up behind you and all they can see of you is your Red tail-light. I'll have to check into that.

we used to have these on our cars & bikes back in the day and drive / ride up and down Southend sea front, then the police got all heavy and band then for street use but great on show cars and bikes

@@RamenOnWheels i was told i should get my Carb. Rejettedafter getting a new exhaust. should i go to a shop to get it done or myself?
Did you get the lights to change colors? If not the control boxes have been known to be bad, I've put them in people's truck beds and had this happen more than once. Just thought it might help and yes could also be the remote but like I said everyone I had problems with was the controller box.
I saw a scooter here recently who had red LED strips hooked up to it's brake lights.. definitely 100% visible!

Hello beautiful shauna my first bike was the tao tao 50cc which i put 11,000 miles on it before i sold it and got the 150cc I'm looking at a 200 or 250 Bms and not really finding any real spec for that brand any help you can give would be so appreciated
I think the remote might be a line of sight kinda thing. Still, you have Ramen looking beautiful.. Also my daughter is still loving the keychain. 😇

I did this to my electric scooter, but I did it the smarter way. I bought the 5 volt USB powered LED strips and just attached a rechargeable battery bank to my scooter.

Hey James, that's really nice of you to say. I appreciate hearing that. 😃 The quantum is your typical Chinese scooter. If its your first scooter and you just want to test the waters without spending a lot of cash, then I say its worth trying out. It has that edgy sporty style that many guys like. But don't expect it to last you for years to come, unless you are willing to learn a little about scooter mechanics. Which is easier than people think. On one end I've seen them have less than 800 miles, before it broke down on them. But on the other end I've seen people with over 15,000 miles on it, because they knew how to take care of it. If you have any more questions to ask, just let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Only thing about 'LED strip lights some states & city can not have on when you driving!
yeah, In Texas we can use them but you have to stay way from certain colors. For instance: No red and blue (because those colors are for police and emergency) No Green and Yellows (because of Traffic light)

@@RamenOnWheelsI got wireless helmet LED brake & turn light and when scooter come in hook it up remote to brake & turn signal light! I did research on it rate it 4 1/2 stars!
Why the Remote might not be working:
a) The battery protector plastic isnt removed (the little plastic at the bottom of the remote)
b) The Infrared receiver is hidden
You gota point the remote at the battery box...to make it work

I purchased a different set of LED lights it’s more like LED string resembles silver and copper speaker wire but it also has the battery pack and a USB port in case you want to use a portable 5 Volts external battery charger. i’m just not sure what to use to apply it to my scooter I thought of clear lamination or scotch tape. Not sure if the heat from the lights would bother the tape. Do you have any thoughts that would help me secure the lights to my scooter. Texas state law only allows white or amber LED under lighting on motorcycles. They cannot be flashing.
I hear so many different variations on this law, it's hard to keep up with them.
