Warframe Dragonfang well according to Ebay there was too much price differences in what the sellers expect from their buyers, but I'll guess this guy can easly steal a $50 from any bigger action in the US.
Scorched _rA9 I just bought one missing a 3 useless keys. All I have to say is yes, but one and buy it quick. You will have to clean it though. Take off the keycaps and use an air duster to take out any hair or dust etc.
I have this keyboard and its 2019. I have had this keyboard for all these years and its still just as good today as it was the first day I bought it. Best keyboard I have ever had and will have for a long time I think. The durability of this board is just insane to me. I feel like I can run over it with my car and it will still work. lol
I have this keyboard too. It’s really durable and I use it for gaming all the time. I like the different effects like the wave and the static ones more.
The same here. I bought it the moment it came out and up this day, it works more than perfectly. I need to clean it a bit though because a lot of stuff are getting inside through the time :v
The board is ok and all but the problem is it's price. You can literally get a better keyboard for 40 dollars from china while this razer piece of shit costs 150 dollars or something
Doge I know, I was just showing that you can find cheap mechs it just takes some time. www.amazon.com/Mechanical-Keyboard-Ergonomic-Professional-Conflict/dp/B00MAZR2O0 and www.amazon.com/Ghost-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-Switch/dp/B00JTPFJMQ both use razer's switch design last time I checked, and I'm fairly sure they're made by kailh.
Bought this keyboard off of amazon for $100 and it's worth every penny. I've always used standard keyboards so this is my first mechanical keyboard. I must say it's worth EVERY PENNY. i love the feel of the keys, the green back light is amazing, also the clicky noise i love lol. If you're hesitant about buying this keyobard and want to buy it but your not sure? BUY IT trust me you wont be disappointed.
ComicPunch I've had it for 4 months and I feel the same way. It's the best keyboard I've ever owned. I'm always on my computer everyday typing essays and such for college or playing PC games. Everything still works fine. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone!
Cartman122 OMG MY LOBAL EB GAMES SCAMMED ME. ebgames.com.au/pc-200577-Razer-BlackWidow-2014-Edition-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-PC And that's just the price of the normal blackwidow D:
I just got one of these yesterday. holy crap. the only complain I have is the macro keys on the left hand side, which I don't see myself ever using really, as I don't do MMO's. I love the feel, this is the best feeling keyboard I have ever used, and ive been doing this for over 20 years now. I despise membrane keyboards. I don't like to have to bottom out a key to make sure I get the press. this thing is fast and has increased my WPM by at least 20% over even the best membrane keyboard. to me, this keyboard is worth every single penny. I paid 110 at best buy, after spending seriously over an hour typing on every keyboard in the store trying to find one to replace my wireless Logitech. once I get used to the macro keys being there, and I don't reach for those instead of things like caps lock and such, I have no doubt whatsoever that this will probably be the best keyboard I will ever own. I love the click feel to a keyboard that tells me ive made contact. the switches are amazing, and have such a nice feel and response to them. admittedly, ive never used cherry switches, but this thing is absolutely amazing. im very glad I didn't go with the stealth model as I have read it feels a lot like a typical membrane keyboard, which as I said earlier, I hate that feel. this is what a keyboard should be. it doesn't have the lcd touchpad or the modular accessories that the stupid expensive ones have, but I don't have any interest at all in having those kinds of things. I type, and game, and this keyboard is phenomenal. I could not have asked for a better product. time will tell if I still feel that way after getting used to it, but I doubt I will find any complaints about it. I wish I could have the backlight in red instead of green, but the green looks very nice, and the different levels of lighting are very nice, so it doesn't blind you if you play in lower light. if you have a hundred dollars to spend on a keyboard, do it. you will not regret it. my new favorite piece of hardware. now if I can just find a basic 2 button wheel mouse that is as high of quality, as all the gaming quality mice have a thousand buttons and bells and whistles. I don't want that. I like minimalist with high quality and function. this keyboard has that. and the gaming mode to disable the windows key is the best idea ive seen from a keyboard in ages. I hate the windows key and usually remove it when I get a new keyboard. no need to with this. 5 stars on this keyboard from this very happy buyer.
Great breakdown on the switches thing there Linus and good info on what Razer did to theirs. Plus an honest to goodness description of how they feel in practice.
Linus I know this won't matter, but you reading of the scrypt is really annoying and it looks unnatural. I know you cant do your old style videos anymore but I would take a wacky spontaniously fluid linus over robot linus. Just my 2 cents.
I know the fluid "off the cuff" style is preferable to some.... and believe it or not it's a LOT less work for me, but I feel like people are busy and time is precious, so the more information I can cram into a video, the better. I just re-watched my Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 video just to see how it contrasted, and while it's neat to get those "First impressions" the information density of this one and the pace is much higher. I also feel the information in this one is much less basic. The old way had its merits too though. There's no one right answer, and we're going to keep evolving the content to try to strike the best balance.
LinusTechTips I know the time and density is important. And in time the old and new will hybrid I am sure, that would be a prefect linus youtube channel in my opinion :) Thanks for responding.
cant stand your blackwidow? you must be really spoilt to not stand it. I'd understand if you had a $10 logitech but blackwidow is good, there is very little wrong with it.
I had Razer Black Widow 2013 Ultimate when it first came out it was garbage the build style ridged edges hurt my hands and dug into me I took it back straight away they are the most overrated gaming peripherals company, I have definitely been eyeing the New Corsair RGB keyboard.
Bought one these back in 2014 and still working fine, didn't get the backlit version though, still works completely fine and no significant wear on any on the key caps, very good keyboard.
And you know this due to your long term extended testing of both switches? how many millions clicks did yours last? oh right, it is 3 months into 2014, and you are probably talking out of your ass- coming a person who has used razer products and does prefer cherry reds over most cherry mx blue switches, AS WELL as generally do not like the razer products. ( I have used the nostromos, naga hex, the 2013 keyboard, and the regular naga.
Yeah, I'd have to go with the Cherry switches. Always trust German engineering. That, and I prefer Corsair keyboards--especially that badass multicolor one.
It does, for example if you want cherry MX reds, or the more clicky blues. It's nicer for me to have a louder click when I play games such as Counter-Strike, if you want to "studder step" you get a click whenever you move you character.
Typed this on a Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, listened to the video with my Kraken Pros and clicked the post button with my Naga 2013. My blackwidow 2013 feels jealous now...
Been wanting this board since 2014, it was the first mech I ever felt and fell in love with it, finally got one and paid only 20 bucks! works like a charm
It's interesting that you bring up Kailh switches, because at this point it seems pretty likely that this is just Razer branded Kailh switches. It's interesting that you mention the cost of an MX switch, because you have to consider how cheap the new company has to make their switch to make it cost competetive. 10 cents per switch? Doesn't seem like you're going to get anything quality for that little. Pretty sure that razer just hammered the last nail into their mechanical keyboard coffin here.
Well, I've owned this keyboard since last winter and I can tell you what I think of it. PROS: 1. It still works flawlessly. 2. The matte finish has held up nicely 3. The keys are just as clicky and responsive as they were since I opened the box and plugged the keyboard in when I bought it. 4. The backlighting works as it should, and the software to control the lighting works as it should. Never have any issues with Synapse, it's just not super fast like some people expect software to always be. 5. I like the clicking sound, hence why I didn't buy the stealth version, so for me it's a good thing that I can hear the click through my headset when my game sounds are at a moderate level. Once a game is turned up a fair bit, the clickiness starts to be less noticeable, which is good since if my sounds are up I'm trying to concentrate. CONS: 1. I paid a good $110 or so for this thing at Best Buy, didn't want to wait for it be shipped so I bought it at a store. Although it is usually more expensive, I had to take a shit load of $20s out of my bank account for this thing and get a lot of stares from people thinking I'm some rotten teenager :P 2. The lack of wrist rest is not a huge issue for me, but for longer gaming sessions, my wrist will end up hurting a bit after being pressed against the edge of the desk. 3. The arrow keys (not the WASD keys) seem to have wobbly key caps. 4. It doesn't cook me breakfast.
All i can say is hurry up Corsair with their RGB Mech switches and they better come in clicky form, as i'd prefer to save some money and buy a cherry key rather than a minutely better razer key. Who else is waiting until we have RGB keys?
***** well with RGB backlight yes green is an option and corsair does do a aluminum keyboard, mx browns should be an option too i would think. So you should be covered with it :D
Those need to be seriously cheaper than the german switches to be considered an alternative. And since I already bought a mechanical keyboard I don't think I'm in the market for a new one in the next 5-10 years anyway.
If you don't need the numberpad, check out the "tournament edition" tenkeyless variant. The F keys are in the typical place. (Ever check out TheCore hotkey layout?)
Cameron Story It's too far of a reach. I did figure out a workaround though. I own the keyboard now, and I removed three of the macro keys so they're spread out and you can't miss them. Having them for extra camera hotkeys is a HUGE advantage in Starcraft so it's worth getting used to the F1 through F4 bullshit
So I bought Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 around 2 weeks ago and here's a little review on it! At the start it was really hard to get used to it mainly because of the 5 macro keys and my typing style (I only use my right hand's thumb and I use my all 5 fingers on my left hand). But after few days I got used it. The mini wrist rest is also really good for my typing style. Typing sound is just amazing, especially with headphones (I know doesn't make any sense, but still I like it). But when typing without headphones thus allowing me to hear the full detailed sound of the click I can sometimes notices this cheap metally springs sound which sounds I don't know to say but let's say "cheap sounds". But you can only hear them without headphones which is good for me because I wear headphones full time when typing/playing basically doing anything with my keyboard. Backlight lights are just really amazing. They are especially bright. I can't even imagine playing with the highest light setting because it would just stand out too much when playing. I use the 2nd lowest setting and it's perfect for me. Also I never heard of people talking about the pulsate lights feature that it has - it just basically pulsates from the lowest light setting to the highest which can be nice for some people. Myself I just like the static not pulsating lights. Typing with it feels really responsive and amazing. In-game it's not really annoying with that kind of loud sound like I used to think like a month ago before I bought it. -- So is it worth the buy? -Yes, but I would have chosen CM Storm Quickfrire TK with red switches instead but I couldn't because it was out of stock and they said that they will have them in stock in like 2 months so I said hell no, i'm not waiting that long. But I heard that red switch keyboards are really bad for typing so maybe blackwidow was a better purchase.. who knows. PS Sorry, my english isn't 100% perfect
I've been transitioning out of Razer products for awhile now. Last thing to go is my Razer BF3 Blackwidow keyboard, and I think I'm going to make sure it's a Cherry MX Red switch instead of these new keyboards. But that's just me. I've just had many Razer products go on me within a few weeks - couple of months of use.
wilfeatscheese But cherry switches are insanely expensive thus making every mechanical keyboard expensive I like how Razer is doing there own thing like apple does.
DatNiqqa What u say will only make sense if manufacturers will pass on this savings on their customers. However knowing history this will not be the case. So now u will have to pay same if not more. And quality? Lets wait and see. Cheers
Key travel has been the main reason why I preferred the "chiclet" type of keyboard. I missed the tactile feedback of the mechanical too, so this may be the new contestant for my new keyboard.
I've used the Blackwidow for one year now, and I think its time to get a new one... But I wanted them to release one with mx blues. I can't trust razer-built gear since my like 2 headsets breaking in use.
64bittinen But its not the same you know? Like the layout, and feel is always going to be different. I wish the 2014 would have came with maybe more features, or something... I really liked the 2013 and thats why I don't want to buy this.
The feel is 99% the same on all keyboards, as long as they are pure MX Blues with no O-rings etc. I suggest you get the Ducky Shine 3 with MX Blues, or the Corsair K70. They have a identical layout just without the somewhat useless macro buttons on the left side.
I got the Chroma edition of this keyboard. Man i couldn't be happier! Its the best keyboard hands down and i tried all of them out there.. The clicky sound is sooo awesome and screams quality!
I bought a Blackwidow v2 in 2018 and I’ve been enjoying it. Came with a wrist rest. Was a Black Friday sale for 85 - I think for that price and the quality, well worth it. I play MMOs so I’m constantly spamming buttons for battles and was using knock off mechanical blues before and the Razer greens are solid
Thanks guys, great overview. I have the 2013 and I love it. My only gripe is that the USB and audio pass-throughs are on the right of the keyboard. I don't understand why that is? Most people are right handed and have the mouse on the right. So why put them there? If anywhere, put them on the back next to the cable maybe?
I've got my keyboard that came with Gateway computer and it still rocks got lots of quick keys and fast response I have no complaint and great at gaming too.
i can tell the difference. personally, i like the MX Blue better on the Logitech G710+ blue, but i really couldn't help myself when the Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 is $64... typing is just ever so slightly faster on the MX Blue. it is only like 1-2 wpm faster, but there is still a slight difference. also there was an easily recognizable sleep key on the Razer, perhaps the dumbest reasons to get a keyboard, but it is one of my favorite keys.
I've got the BW Ultimate 2013, and it's a beast of a keyboard. MX Blues all the way, though if Razer are personally overseeing the manufacture of these new switches, then that's good! They might be trying to deliver higher quality peripherals. I've got all Razer peripherals and I've never had anything break on me. I've had a Naga Epic for about 2 years and it's been brilliant! Razer cops it too much IMO. I've only ever personally seen one Razer product die, and that was my friend's Naga Epic, the sensor began to screw up, and he was a heavy user and that mouse copped a flogging. 2 years it went for.
Maximilian von Stephanides They could be changing their ways. Hopefully, or they want customers to be 'comfortable' buying a Chinese switch over a German switch. Though to be honest, I'd say that it's the exact same manufacturing process as Cherry MX switches. Just in China.
Tekapeel the mentality that's pushing business away is the idea that if something is made here it is automatically better and should cost more. if cherry made cheaper switches they would be much more competitive.
you are the first one to make a tutorial on the new blackwidow ultimate keyboard and that's why a thank you very much. Well the keyboard's disadvantages in my opinion are that there is no wrist-rest and that is very expensive. On the other hand I believe that they good a really good work on the mechanism of the switch itself.
TheSurpleX HUB Oh, well I think multi-colored leds cost a lot more. It would probably raise the price tag to around 160. I think a flagship product like this should have that option though. I agree with you.
The problem is Razer themselves can't be relied on for good quality control. This is definitely not the keyboard I'd get if I was getting another mech keyboard. Get a quality, simple keyboard. A Filco, maybe a Ducky, a WASD, etc. If you can't afford one of those, then the Cooler Master keyboards that look a lot like Filco are much better than the "gamer" keyboards that are overpriced and just not as solid, like the Razer or Corsair, etc.
I see a lot of mixed comments about this keyboard. I own it and I'm typing on it right now and I honestly love this thing. I have the green switches and they are very loud but that is what I prefer and what I like. If you can get this on sale for a reasonable price then I would definitely recommend it. I use the headphone passthrough from time to time and it works well. I don't really use the other ports as much so I can't say much about those. But those ports are on the wrong side of the keyboard in my opinion. With my headphones plugged in I have to watch my mouse movement so i don't hit the plug sticking out of the keyboard. All in all though this is a great keyboard. Don't let the haters out there sway away from buying it. Try it out and see if you like it before buying.
I am waiting for the Corsair RGB keyboard. It will use genuine Cherry switches with the usual high quality German manufacturing quality. Experience has taught me never to buy any 1st gen tech made in China.
Razer isn't a idiot company to sell crap to their costumers since they are number 1 in gaming peripherals. So i`am pretty sure you would have no problems with this keyboard...
I have this keyboard, but I have the silent version with Razer orange switches in it. I can say, that I have had many mechanical keyboards and the Silent switches from Razer is, BY FAR the quietest ones I have ever had. They are just perfect! One thing that I do have a complaint about is the way they did the damn symbols on this keyboard. I tend to forget what symbol is on what number key. If I am in the dark I can not see the symbols. Also, It may just be me but if I turn the brightness all way up I see a slight flicker in the lighting This seems to only happen when I have the brightness all the way up. I think its a low polling rate or possibly the lights are pwm controlled, not really sure. If the sound of the keys bottoming out is an issue for you then you can use just place an o-ring on the key shaft and it fixes the issue completely. After the o-ring mod has been done this keyboard is as quite or quieter than a membrane keyboard.
I'm sure you will be fine. It's not like Kailh is designing the switch so it fine. It's like the iPhone where it is designed in California but made at Foxconn (Hon Hai) in Taiwan/China.
Buying this right now because im sure they wont make another keyboard until 2018 and if they do i doubt it will be so much better than the 2016 version and for $70 come on you cant find better btw can find it for $69 is what i found mine for or $70
Yeah,it is! :) But before you buy this KB look at the Corsair Vengeance K70 (RGB)! That KB is perfect too! They're kind of the same, but with slightly different Switches. :)
xBr3aK That's what i thought but then i went to the reviews and was not happy, I saw many of the reviews and they were most of the keyboard switches lost there "feel"? so I think i just might by this board :D
I bought a Blackwidow 14 half a year ago and I'm not saying it's shit, maybe I've just gotten very bad luck... But 3 keys were broken. The double-registered. For example when I pressed "M" while typing it wrote "mm", or ingame it open and closed the map. Trying to blow under the switch with compressed air and carefully cleaning it with alcohol didn't work so I sent it back. Got a Corsair Vengeance K70 since. Love it, although I think my next Mech. Keyboard will have clicky switches.
i have the same problem but i bought me used to i think its already broken :P BUT the thing is all my keys do that !! so some how i dont think its broken its just how the mx blues work ?? and btw damn i love the way i type on it ^^ had to add that just to hear myself type xD
BigL BkNy no no its not dusting ^^ you need alcohol 99% and drop one drop on the naked switch it self from the sides and mash the heck out off it a few times then leave it to dry then you might see a fix . on the other hand ya the green switches i dont them :S
Kingstivan I think I have a solution for u. Your product may have been broken OR macros may be set to the keyboard. Download razer synapse - razers product customisation software - and check under macros and see if each key is registered to type it's character twice. If it is then you simply need to set them as default. There are many tutorials on UA-cam on how to do this. Simply search how to setup macros in razer blackwidow
I don't trust Razer, their build quality isn't that good after a few months of mid to heavy use. Their mice tend to die more quickly, as well as being for small hands. Their systems break and have way too many errors happen to them. Plus I really just don't like most of their prices, which are way to much for the quality.
The design of the razer mice are probably very nice but the quality of them is just bad. For example steelseries got an average mouse design but very good quality
I just don't understand where people get this stuff from. I own a Deathadder 2012 and Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 and have never had a bit of trouble from either one. Two of my friends also the Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 and both the 2012 and 2013 deathadders and they are all still going strong. We are all very heavy gamers at 15-20+hrs a week minimum. The deathadder is made for pretty large hands, it's a bit too big for my hands actually. There simply is not enough evidence to back your claim. The price may be high, but it is the functionality, design, and durability that you are paying for.
joshmosky I agree. My Deathadder that I got last summer has been the best mouse I've ever owned. It feels very sturdy, very responsive, and it's very smooth. I've ordered a Razer Blackwidow 2014 just a few days ago. I haven't actually sat down and played with one, but I've had multiple times where I've held the keyboard, typed paragraphs, and tried to remove keys. The keyboard is sturdy, it has no bend to it at all, my typing was phenomenal and faster than the keyboard that I own, and it's almost impossible to remove keys without a key remover. I don't know where people are getting these problems. Everyone I know that owns any Razer product has never had a problem with them.
When I saw on twitter they made a new keyboard, I was like, "gahhhhhh I just got mine," but instead people who get the new blackwidow will get inferior Chinese performance. Cherry FTW
I don't support Razer at all. I think they are a terrible company, I will however say that just because something is made in Germany doesn't mean its good. Sure I like my das keyboard and its cherry mx blue switches but buckling spring is so much more durable and a more solid switch. While I like the cherry mx switches more for their feel, their is no doubt the buckling spring is a better design of a switch. (no way for dust to get in it once key cap is on unlike the fragile mx switches)
***** Everyone understands that most stuff is made in china, it's hard to find things that are made outside of china but when you do it's a whole new class of quality.
demsix I am very heavy handed and so blue and green switches are my preferred. It really depends on how you game and the way that you are used to using keyboards. I love using mx blue switches and green are close to what I like but are just harder to find on a budget.
Actually, I think that would make a huge difference for people who type the way I do and such. I hate having to use my entire hand or wrist or whatever in order to 'bottom out' the keys to be 100% sure I hit every key, the idea of a more responsive key.. It would make it feel so much cleaner to type. I need this
Oh you better hand over your motherboard your graphics card your hard drive and your power supply then. And most likely your case and CPU and monitor. Because I can guarantee none of those are made in either Europe or the USA : )
sgcandrewkard Herp derp, I said if I can choose I choose europe or USA. But there are none of those components you mentioned manufactured in europe or USA, right? Please read before you comment.
I bought this keyboard some months ago and I absolutly ADORE it. I know there's this new BW "X" out there. But in the store, I couldn't feel any difference. So I just went with the cheaper one and I can only recommend it to everyone, looking for this clicky switch, from a company that you can trust. (such as logitech)
It's funny to that people never change their opinion. Linus said that there is nothing bad about this keyboard and the only people commenting are saying that its shit and so on, probably without having ever touched this keyboard. Why do people always talk shit about stuff they can't have or afford?
I bought this same keyboard months ago and I absolutely enjoy the tactile sound and feel. I play alot of idle rpgs and idle games so clicking has easily broken a few keyboards switches but so far this keyboard has been perfect all the time
Just bought the blackwidow tornament edition today, totally worth it. The keyboard has a good weight to it, the whole thing is well built. The keys click and register before they hit the bottom so you can lift it again half way to double tap ( great for dota 2 skills), the keys are so clicky and mechanical which is very satisfying, the price is much lower than the steel series keyboards which makes it more affordable. Great keyboard from razer.
***** lel so do razer. Razer always does new things with their products and they are good quality overall (there are always defects in some) but not bad overall. Roccat peripherals are ok but not as good as razer maybe nearly on par. E.g. the deathadder and naga mouse is super famous and highly regarded as a good mouse while roccat's mice aren't as good.
***** everything from roccat i owned died before the warranty went out. apart from their mousemat... but if that were to act as the rest of their products, it's safe to say ***** is very much right.
The keyboard has a 165 dollar price tag. What was this about more affordable mechanical keyboards? The Corsair vengeance k70 with cherry mx reds is 130 dollars and looks more sturdy and is more than likely a better quality keyboard over all. Once again Razer over prices their mediocre products.
"Razer switchs" are nothing more then a Chinese clone of Charry MX switchs. The only difference between razer greens and MX blues is minor change to travel distance. They are not really not the improvement or game changer razer claims (this is just standard razer marketing BS). In reality the only reason they switched to them was to lower production costs.
***** I have the BW 2014 along with the previous 2013. As unbiased as possible here are my 2 cents: Production cost is definitely reduced, which means they get to cheat even more money out of our pockets. Well done razer. Price doesn't reflect quality, though. The keys fell really fleshed out and tactile. They almost feel like a solid upgrade to blue switches. I'm in love with the speed I can get off the new switches. However, It is not a game changer. Difference is noticeable, but Xpeke can play Vayne on a membrane keyboard than any of us common folk with the latest blackwidow 2020 Ultimate tournament stealth chroma super final edition limited matte deluxe de la fromage. I'm afraid most of Razer's quotes are indeed marketing BS.
***** Ive used it. some keys clicked and some didnt. maybe because it was a display model, but that shouldnt matter. At least, it doesn't with cherrys.
I figure if they can't stand up to some heavy handedness in a store they wont last like cherrys do. Bear in mind these things were to buy, whereas those phones live their entire life on display.
I got the Stealth 2014 version yesterday. I've immediately noticed the difference in travel distance VS Cherry MX browns. It's so great. It's sort of like having MX brown switches with O rings, but better. Hard to explain. When it comes to mice and keyboards, I always like picking Razer over anything else. The ergonomics and style of their stuff really fits me quite perfectly. It just feels 'right', but that's just me. As for audio, I don't use anything but my Beyerdynamics.
Actually, their mice are pretty terrible too. The only good one is the Deathadder 2013, and Logitech G400s is still way better than the Deathadder. Overall, Razer makes terrible low quality and overall people who think most of them are good are heavily uninformed.
YourFriendlyTroll Well, I'm a competitive gamer. I play Team Fortress 2, CS:GO, Dota 2, and Starcraft 2 all competitively. In my opinion, I think the naga is a terrible mouse for myself, and in most games. I mean if the only kind of game you play is MMO then so be it and get the naga. But for other genres of games it's pretty useless and overpriced. In addition, find the crapton of buttons useless, a ridiculously high and unnecessary dpi, and it quite small for the fit of my hand. My friend had a naga, and it didn't last too long till it broke. The customer service for Razer wasn't great with it either and it took 2 months for them to repair it and send it back to my friend
I need to get one of these again. I've always loved them and once it died, I switched to a Varmilo for daily use. But I need this one for my gaming station 🥺
i dont a shit about where its made how cheap its made or anything else if its what i like its what i like i do not give a shit about what people say its good for me
Exactly I see comments everywhere dissing razed for using these switches but I don't give a shit. But hey according to Linus there better than cherry mx,s so I'll take it.
people say "oh but pros use them they have 0.07 ms better response time than other keyboards" or whatever. But i don't care because I'm not a fucking pro and you should not care because neither are you because 0.07 ms doesn't make ANY difference to you.
Honestly I never see the keys anyway. Doesn't bother me anymore. U When I have to replace my Blackwidow I will probably save my 2/@ key to put on the new one. Maybe by then they will fix the r as well.
I feel like most people whose break their keyboards/mice constantly just don't take care of their stuff. I have the first generation Blackwidow from 2012 and it's still working just fine. I bought a second Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2014 to use at work and that's working fine too.
I was going to buy the G710 until I had a chance to physically use it at Fry's. The problem with the G710 is that the keys easily fall off. This is especially more prevalent in the CTRL, ALT and G keys. I saw used the Razer Ultimate, but i am not convinced.
LRF49 i was also thinking of combo g502 and g710+ unless they give us even better g710+ maybe g810+ with screen that would be amazing does anybody have video proof or review of keys falling apart after just 2months of usage? g710+ has warranty 2-3 years right? does that includes keys falling off
I'd consider this, but I've been using the same keyboard for 15 years.
The IBM Model M.
Still works perfectly.
*****
clickykeyboards dot com, or something similar to that
I've got an M2. Was my dad's, used it for his Dos computer back in the day.
Your PC specs are fifteen years old too right?
Try selling that keyboard in auction, old PC lovers might like it.Also let me call a buddy of mine who's an expert about keyboards
Warframe Dragonfang well according to Ebay there was too much price differences in what the sellers expect from their buyers, but I'll guess this guy can easly steal a $50 from any bigger action in the US.
bought this keyboard back in 2014, its 2020 and the keyboard is still perfect. Good job on this one razer.
Hey i saw your comment but i got a question. I can buy one 2nd hamd but i dont know if schould .. still in working condition for only €20
Scorched _rA9 I just bought one missing a 3 useless keys. All I have to say is yes, but one and buy it quick. You will have to clean it though. Take off the keycaps and use an air duster to take out any hair or dust etc.
I have my razer black widow tournament edition 2014
still works till this day and one of the best i've tried by far.
Same here dude, this thing is a tank
hi i bought one 2 hand i want to ask you is it possible to customize the light effect
i bought this keyboard in 2014, t's 2021 and it's still good, i'm not gonna change it soon, this is quality !
I usually choose for switch more than keyboard.
Thats wise
I have this keyboard and its 2019. I have had this keyboard for all these years and its still just as good today as it was the first day I bought it. Best keyboard I have ever had and will have for a long time I think. The durability of this board is just insane to me. I feel like I can run over it with my car and it will still work. lol
I have this keyboard too. It’s really durable and I use it for gaming all the time. I like the different effects like the wave and the static ones more.
The same here. I bought it the moment it came out and up this day, it works more than perfectly. I need to clean it a bit though because a lot of stuff are getting inside through the time :v
Any of you know if it's compatible with Xbox?
Me too and I still love it. Is it compatible with the Cherry MX Reds? Also my rubber pads fell off, do you know of a good replacement?
The board is ok and all but the problem is it's price. You can literally get a better keyboard for 40 dollars from china while this razer piece of shit costs 150 dollars or something
I just wish mech keyboards weren't expensive as shit
swapman6278 www.amazon.com/Shogun-Bros-Cross-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B008TN8A5M You just have to look harder...
darkevilmac that keyboard sucks lmfao
Doge I know, I was just showing that you can find cheap mechs it just takes some time. www.amazon.com/Mechanical-Keyboard-Ergonomic-Professional-Conflict/dp/B00MAZR2O0 and www.amazon.com/Ghost-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-Switch/dp/B00JTPFJMQ both use razer's switch design last time I checked, and I'm fairly sure they're made by kailh.
"Expensive as shit" I didn't know that shit was that expensive.
In a few hours, Razer will have a 50% off sale on almost everything (30% for the Razer Blade) for Razer Insider members. :)
How long have you had it and do you type on it regually?
ComicPunch I've had it for 4 months and I feel the same way. It's the best keyboard I've ever owned. I'm always on my computer everyday typing essays and such for college or playing PC games. Everything still works fine. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone!
Perry It is either this or the K70, I can't decide D:
ComicPunch The K70 is also a good keyboard. They're almost the same price. Either way, you can't go wrong. Both of them are fantastic keyboards.
Perry I will buy one soon :D
my local wal mart had this on clearance for 60 bucks and it works like a dream
Lucky dude, that's like $130 off
+Administrafer more like 40
Cody Heale the blackwidow ultimate is like AUD$200
Administrafer its about $99.99 USD in United States
Cartman122 OMG MY LOBAL EB GAMES SCAMMED ME. ebgames.com.au/pc-200577-Razer-BlackWidow-2014-Edition-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-PC
And that's just the price of the normal blackwidow D:
LinusTechTips I didn't notice it.
I was always aware of it but I love it!
its better nowadays
Will wait for new Corsair RGB with newly updated Cherry switches. Cant stand my blackwidow 2013 ultimate
cant stand your blackwidow? you must be really spoilt to not stand it. I'd understand if you had a $10 logitech but blackwidow is good, there is very little wrong with it.
***** The Keyboard was so bad I returned it and paid more to get a 710+ (one of the best keyboards i have had)
I had Razer Black Widow 2013 Ultimate when it first came out it was garbage the build style ridged edges hurt my hands and dug into me I took it back straight away they are the most overrated gaming peripherals company, I have definitely been eyeing the New Corsair RGB keyboard.
DarthMuse LOL, NOOB
SavageXS Why Am I A Noob?
WHY DO I HAVE A FEELING THAT RAZERS KEYSWITCHES ARE GOING TO BREAK DOWN IN 4 MONTHS AND HAVE A QUALITY ISSUES....
IIIIIIIII DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUTTTTT
BECAUSE IT'S RAZER?!! AND CHINESE MANUFACTURING?
Cray.
IM GETTIN DEAF HERE
OnhilXX YEAH DUDE MY SHITTY ASS RAZER NAGA HAS BEEN USED HOURS A DAY FOR 2 YEARS AND STILL WORKS PERFECTLY. WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT
Bought one these back in 2014 and still working fine, didn't get the backlit version though, still works completely fine and no significant wear on any on the key caps, very good keyboard.
Still pick Cherrys switches over Razers any day
And you know this due to your long term extended testing of both switches? how many millions clicks did yours last? oh right, it is 3 months into 2014, and you are probably talking out of your ass- coming a person who has used razer products and does prefer cherry reds over most cherry mx blue switches, AS WELL as generally do not like the razer products. ( I have used the nostromos, naga hex, the 2013 keyboard, and the regular naga.
***** Razer is gonna make you log onto the cloud to use their switches -_-
Yeah, I'd have to go with the Cherry switches. Always trust German engineering. That, and I prefer Corsair keyboards--especially that badass multicolor one.
***** As far as i know, Cherry's have always been great, Can't really say that for Razer.
Have you tried them?
Forget trying to improve the switches .. instead how about using decent key caps ..
enzudesign the keycaps are good quality. I have it.
Yeah the switches are great, keycaps are meh though.
It does, for example if you want cherry MX reds, or the more clicky blues. It's nicer for me to have a louder click when I play games such as Counter-Strike, if you want to "studder step" you get a click whenever you move you character.
they ditched german made cherry mx switches for chinese cheap labor and the price is still the same...
johannes frings Apparently you missed the part where they had them quality-controlled.
+Bojangles 4th (Bojangles4th) Honestly, they lack QC on those switches.
More gold on the contacts.
+Bojangles 4th (Bojangles4th) Razer... quality control... ha
It better be good chinese one.
Typed this on a Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, listened to the video with my Kraken Pros and clicked the post button with my Naga 2013.
My blackwidow 2013 feels jealous now...
i have a razer deathstalker keyboard, kraken pros, naga 2012, and a nostromo... i want the orbweaver so bad
Been wanting this board since 2014, it was the first mech I ever felt and fell in love with it, finally got one and paid only 20 bucks! works like a charm
Has this guy been working out?
WANKING ALOT
BEN RIGNEY DISRESPECTFUL!
DISRESPECTFUL!
PROS:
1. It still works flawlessly.
2. The matte finish has held up nicely
CONS:
1. I paid a good $110 or so for this thing at Best Buy, didn't want to wait for it be shipped so I bought it at a store. Although it is usually more expensive, I had to take a shit load of $20s out of my bank account for this thing and get a lot of stares from people thinking I'm some rotten teenager :P
Dang, i didn't even know my keyboard had feet on them to hold it up! in this postion I can type so much faster! THanks linus!
I just got mine 20 min ago delivered to work, hard to come by in South Africa. cant wait to use it. And i trust razer, all of my peripherals are razer
Those need to be seriously cheaper than the german switches to be considered an alternative. And since I already bought a mechanical keyboard I don't think I'm in the market for a new one in the next 5-10 years anyway.
Did you buy a new one yet?
I'd buy the shit out of this keyboard if the F1 through F4 keys weren't so far to the right. Don't they realize that fucks up us Starcraft players?
Sorry bub but get a different keyboard
Defiantly find one for your gaming purposes
If you don't need the numberpad, check out the "tournament edition" tenkeyless variant. The F keys are in the typical place. (Ever check out TheCore hotkey layout?)
The column on the left hand side of the keyboard is programmable too, so if you want you can make those your f1-f5 keys
Cameron Story It's too far of a reach. I did figure out a workaround though. I own the keyboard now, and I removed three of the macro keys so they're spread out and you can't miss them. Having them for extra camera hotkeys is a HUGE advantage in Starcraft so it's worth getting used to the F1 through F4 bullshit
nickr753 And by all of that bullshit I mean TheCore is the greatest thing ever, fuck whatever I said
So I bought Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 around 2 weeks ago and here's a little review on it!
--
So is it worth the buy?
Just to note. Low quality ingredients will not produce high quality sandwich same is with parts used to build a quality pc or a quality keyboard.
True But Cherry switches are Brilliant anyway.
wilfeatscheese But cherry switches are insanely expensive thus making every mechanical keyboard expensive I like how Razer is doing there own thing like apple does.
Yeah with a huge profit margin, like apple does. This is a bad thing, I prefer openness in design.
DatNiqqa
What u say will only make sense if manufacturers will pass on this savings on their customers. However knowing history this will not be the case. So now u will have to pay same if not more. And quality? Lets wait and see. Cheers
been 6 years and it still works perfectly fine. All the rgb still works for every key and never had a switch die on me.
You said that they looked exactly the same and it didn't say 2014 on it. You sure you bought the 2014 one?
the mechanical keyboard market is about to get a lot more interesting (and hopefully more affordable)
Key travel has been the main reason why I preferred the "chiclet" type of keyboard. I missed the tactile feedback of the mechanical too, so this may be the new contestant for my new keyboard.
this is going straight into my shopping basket!
Nice
My keyboard came from a dumpster behind a bank.
My keyboard just came...
beameron I don't know what sense that was meant to be taken in..
Aaand thats what she said. There. I contributed to one comment today. Lifegoal: Complete.
Mine literally just arrive 30 minutes ago. I love it. I've never had a mechanical keyboard before, and I'm already in love.
I have the older Blackwidow but I'll probably get this when it comes out. Hopefully Chinese switches arent cheaply made. These look promising though
Ordered this and getting it in a few days as my first mechanical keyboard. The sound of the keyboard sends chills. Can't wait!
I've used the Blackwidow for one year now, and I think its time to get a new one... But I wanted them to release one with mx blues. I can't trust razer-built gear since my like 2 headsets breaking in use.
I understand your idea. However there are TONS of keyboards with MX Blues. Come on over to reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards to learn more!
I like the vid, and AT LEAST YOU DIDNT MAKE ME WATCH A STUPID SHAVING RAZOR ADVERTISEMENT! Great job Mr Sebastian
Well, he didn't make you watch it, which is why he left it at the end of the video.
Sebastian Hopkins
Lol, Linus Sebastian
I think this is less to do with benefiting anyone and more to do with cheaping out on parts now that the cherry patent is expired.
Hey Linus, The new Razer blackwidow ultimate 2016 edition....SAYS IT
Thanks guys, great overview.
Sticking with my German made keys.
like you can tell the difference
i can tell the difference. personally, i like the MX Blue better on the Logitech G710+ blue, but i really couldn't help myself when the Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 is $64... typing is just ever so slightly faster on the MX Blue. it is only like 1-2 wpm faster, but there is still a slight difference. also there was an easily recognizable sleep key on the Razer, perhaps the dumbest reasons to get a keyboard, but it is one of my favorite keys.
Plenty of great products come from China, and if they have people overlooking the production I'm sure it will come out just fine
Razer "overseeing" the manufacturing of the new switches doesn't make me feel safe, as Razer are known for shitty quality already :P
Maximilian von Stephanides They could be changing their ways. Hopefully, or they want customers to be 'comfortable' buying a Chinese switch over a German switch. Though to be honest, I'd say that it's the exact same manufacturing process as Cherry MX switches. Just in China.
no one does not simply trust razer
One does not simply care.
yeah, definitely
:D
I trust
I care exactly 0 who made the switches. is it good? is it reasonably priced? then I'll buy it.
And that is exactly the mentality that is pushing business and industry out of the West...
Tekapeel the mentality that's pushing business away is the idea that if something is made here it is automatically better and should cost more. if cherry made cheaper switches they would be much more competitive.
Cicciter So abhorrent working conditions and disgusting pay rates are worth you saving 3 cents on each of your key switches? Classy.
Tekapeel
Like you give a shit on who makes your switches. Classy.
xkylex2231 If I didn't why would I go out of my way to be an arse to a random chap on the internet?
you are the first one to make a tutorial on the new blackwidow ultimate keyboard and that's why a thank you very much.
Well the keyboard's disadvantages in my opinion are that there is no wrist-rest and that is very expensive. On the other hand I believe that they good a really good work on the mechanism of the switch itself.
You know I seriously don't know why they make this keyboard in ONE fucking color....
They usually only use black white and green. And white doesn't look good on keyboards.
Chris White I was talking about the leds.
TheSurpleX HUB Oh, well I think multi-colored leds cost a lot more. It would probably raise the price tag to around 160. I think a flagship product like this should have that option though. I agree with you.
Because it's Razer. And Razer sucks.
tissue bandit Bwaahahah. What brand do you fanboy over? Razer doesn't suck. They make high quality gaming peripherals.
Corsair is very solid, But expensive. I wouldn't exactly say overpriced.
So i`am pretty sure you would have no problems with this keyboard...
beameron
my razer imperator mouse lost its surface after 1month. they will sell you the cheapest plastic crap there is, as long as it brings in money.
guys steelseries is also one of the top dogs for quality :)
beameron They're popular, so their great *looks at Beats by Dre* clearly that's not true.
***** pretty sure he met by market share not person prefernce
I'm still using an old ass black Dell wired keyboard. xD
No I mean I'm still using an old ass keyboard. :P
Darkwolf6687
No, it has nothing. lol I got it for 3 bucks at the goodwill like 7 years ago. But it's still holding up great. :)
same here bro
Pff. I am using IBM Model M with swithches with spriings
Michael Manukyan
lol I have one of those.
Should I buy this in 2016? I am just looking for a good keyboard that will last me a REALLY long time
I'm sure you will be fine. It's not like Kailh is designing the switch so it fine. It's like the iPhone where it is designed in California but made at Foxconn (Hon Hai) in Taiwan/China.
Buying this right now because im sure they wont make another keyboard until 2018 and if they do i doubt it will be so much better than the 2016 version and for $70 come on you cant find better btw can find it for $69 is what i found mine for or $70
I found this for $82 on Amazon US
where???
+LV Strikers eBay tons of keyboards going for cheap just bought one for 40$yesterday
I'm just sitting here using an old IBM mechanical keyboard for typing and gaming
Thanks so much Linus! your video has persuaded my mom to buy me a razer black widow ultimate keyboard for Christmas. I'm really excited to use it!
Is this keyboard good for playing World of Warcraft?
Yeah,it is! :) But before you buy this KB look at the Corsair Vengeance K70 (RGB)! That KB is perfect too! They're kind of the same, but with slightly different Switches. :)
xBr3aK
Thank you!
xBr3aK That's what i thought but then i went to the reviews and was not happy, I saw many of the reviews and they were most of the keyboard switches lost there "feel"? so I think i just might by this board :D
i would go with the razer blackwidow croma. same is this keyboard but its got a rgb blacklight.
brandonhughes7 I dislike they Razer blackwidow croma because of their switches. I'd rather go for the K70 rgb w/ cherry mx switches
Don't get me wrong I like Razor, but I think they are just an over-priced brand name like Beats by Dre Only P.C edition
Razer...*
Chris Minckler spell check...*
They are the same price as others according to the price on their official website, though quality is not as nice.
The keyboard is 120$? Is that really that expensive? Thats about right for a keyboard.
I got mine for 5$ at a yard sale
BigL BkNy try cleaning the switch it self youtubers has made DIY videos and it worked on mine ((well tried it on one switch so far didnt have it ))
BigL BkNy no no its not dusting ^^ you need alcohol 99% and drop one drop on the naked switch it self from the sides and mash the heck out off it a few times then leave it to dry then you might see a fix . on the other hand ya the green switches i dont them :S
Yeah I had that to I would press any key on my keyboard and it would spam about 5 or 10 letters.
Razer quality has always been superb.
FellowGnome01
NOT !
The price may be high, but it is the functionality, design, and durability that you are paying for.
joshmosky
I agree.
German engineering can't bested, that has been proven multiple times.
I'd rather stick with my Cherry MX keyboard than go with cheap Chinese stuff.
Pretty much this
WW2 and WW1 proved this...
***** Everyone understands that most stuff is made in china, it's hard to find things that are made outside of china but when you do it's a whole new class of quality.
i have had this keyboard since it came out, spilt multiple drinks on it and put it through hell, it still has yet to break, great keyboard.
same, it works completely fine after spilling water like 3 times on it
It's actually a nice looking keyboard except for the font.
Too bad the build quality isn't good.
I beg to differ, 6 years later my Razer is still working perfectly while my old Cherry switches keyboard developed issues.
Where is that ship!? I must hunt!
demsix I am very heavy handed and so blue and green switches are my preferred. It really depends on how you game and the way that you are used to using keyboards. I love using mx blue switches and green are close to what I like but are just harder to find on a budget.
I rather have that nice Ducky :D
Duck master race!
I can get this for like $85 shipped, should I get it?
+Daniel Macías YES that's a great deal
i got mine for 128 dollars in store.. its the expert edition so no backlighting
Louis Vo bruh... that's just stupid it's 80 on amazon. But did you get it when it first came out?
Austin Morrels nah 125 buks sun
Louis Vo Wow. that's crazy
Actually, I think that would make a huge difference for people who type the way I do and such. I hate having to use my entire hand or wrist or whatever in order to 'bottom out' the keys to be 100% sure I hit every key, the idea of a more responsive key.. It would make it feel so much cleaner to type. I need this
Who else got one on Christmas? :)
+Baseballphan34 me
I got the Tournament edition. Santa knows me 😏
+Baseballphan34 same.
+Baseballphan34 luckily not. razer shit. i got corsair k70 rgb :) much better than your blackwidow
+nisooo:3 the 2014 blackwidow is very good u spoiled brat
I only know one thing I rather buy something made in europe or usa then in china.
Oh you better hand over your motherboard your graphics card your hard drive and your power supply then. And most likely your case and CPU and monitor. Because I can guarantee none of those are made in either Europe or the USA : )
sgcandrewkard
Herp derp, I said if I can choose I choose europe or USA. But there are none of those components you mentioned manufactured in europe or USA, right? Please read before you comment.
***** You never said "If I can choose"
GSPvRUSH
Learn english, rather means the same thing
***** Stop talking BS please. I own several KB´s with cherry switches so... There are no other computer components made in europe or USA.
Mine Because its internet. Most people hate something because thry cant afford it , it makes them feel better.
I want a keyboard like that (All the keys + num pad + room under the space bar+Backlighting) But razer are over priced .-.
You have to pay for quality :).
If you want all that, you can't expect it to be cheap...
Thomas Hölttä the words Quality and razer do not belong in the same sentence .. budget hardware with a cheap finish.
enzudesign wait what? Have you even tried Razer?
JeppeDanielsen i have a old IBM mechanical keyboard which is WAY better then any high end gaming keyboard so yeah go IBM!
I bought this same keyboard months ago and I absolutely enjoy the tactile sound and feel. I play alot of idle rpgs and idle games so clicking has easily broken a few keyboards switches but so far this keyboard has been perfect all the time
Honestly, it does not matter f switches are made in China, Germany, UK, on Mars, they are good if the are quality!
thats the problem china's interpretation off "quality" is different to any other country in the world the same as their copyright laws.
I agree on that one!
LOL @ the @ sign
iDerekMC i have the keyboard, and @/& are ugly af.
I more wtf at the & symbol
Just bought the blackwidow tornament edition today, totally worth it. The keyboard has a good weight to it, the whole thing is well built. The keys click and register before they hit the bottom so you can lift it again half way to double tap ( great for dota 2 skills), the keys are so clicky and mechanical which is very satisfying, the price is much lower than the steel series keyboards which makes it more affordable. Great keyboard from razer.
Roccat Ryos : "lol cute"
roccat have never really been good tbh. Brands like corsair are better
***** I have a Roccat kone XTD and it has been working great.
*****
everything from roccat i owned died before the warranty went out. apart from their mousemat... but if that were to act as the rest of their products, it's safe to say ***** is very much right.
***** The deathadder has a record of dieing /double clicking within a year, Same with the naga.
I wouldn't trust Razer completely I had a lot of bad experience with their quality but most of the wired mouse are aright
Totally agreed, I bought the Logitech G710+ and I'm glad I made that choice, the quality between both its incomparable.
Lmao now they have the best wireless mouse and so does Logitech loll wireless mouses are the best right now
Overall a very sturdy keyboard. Bought in 2014 and still running with no issues.
The keyboard has a 165 dollar price tag. What was this about more affordable mechanical keyboards? The Corsair vengeance k70 with cherry mx reds is 130 dollars and looks more sturdy and is more than likely a better quality keyboard over all. Once again Razer over prices their mediocre products.
ehh, if you visit their official website, the price didn't change at all.
cheaper mechanical keyboards due to chinese knock off of cherry switches
because it's a newer product? K70 is so expensive in australia compared to us
***** Oh hi, Samsung fan boy, we meet again. So, how much does a K70 cost in AUS?
CK Gamer hi apple fanboy too and it costs $174 so expensive, razer is cheaper
"Razer switchs" are nothing more then a Chinese clone of Charry MX switchs. The only difference between razer greens and MX blues is minor change to travel distance. They are not really not the improvement or game changer razer claims (this is just standard razer marketing BS). In reality the only reason they switched to them was to lower production costs.
*****
I have the BW 2014 along with the previous 2013. As unbiased as possible here are my 2 cents:
Production cost is definitely reduced, which means they get to cheat even more money out of our pockets. Well done razer.
Price doesn't reflect quality, though. The keys fell really fleshed out and tactile. They almost feel like a solid upgrade to blue switches. I'm in love with the speed I can get off the new switches. However,
It is not a game changer.
*****
120? Bought this keyboard on Friday for 70 bucks! (Manufacture Refurb) But still, 120 bucks is high, did you get the chroma edition?"
***** I completely agree. But I got the chroma. So Razer is better than I thought. (im typing on the razer now)
I got the Stealth 2014 version yesterday.
Razer is so crap when it comes to keyboards. Their mice are decent but keyboards, no. Just get a Ducky Shine 3 or something.
Actually, their mice are pretty terrible too. The only good one is the Deathadder 2013, and Logitech G400s is still way better than the Deathadder. Overall, Razer makes terrible low quality and overall people who think most of them are good are heavily uninformed.
Ani Srikanth Love my Naga 2014, how could someone be uninformed when they have it, use it and love it?
hipster circlejerk incoming
too bad all Ducky Shine 3 are like sold out everywhere, Im glad I got mine while it was in stock.
Trust Razer? LOL. after their "pro controller" for the 360, ill make sure I keep the receipt handy for any Razer products going forward.
WOW, it says I posted this comment 44 years ago. Anyone else see that?
iLLexian I don't see it now, but I've seen it happen on some other comments. Weird!
You didn't ike the Sabertooth? I love it. it feels awesome and the mechanical buttons are the shit. Why not?
I need to get one of these again. I've always loved them and once it died, I switched to a Varmilo for daily use. But I need this one for my gaming station 🥺
i dont a shit about where its made how cheap its made or anything else if its what i like its what i like i do not give a shit about what people say its good for me
+gasjer 11 Thank you, someone else that knows how I feel
Exactly I see comments everywhere dissing razed for using these switches but I don't give a shit. But hey according to Linus there better than cherry mx,s so I'll take it.
I like it and don't give a shit about those "get the k70" people
There will always be elitist.
people say "oh but pros use them they have 0.07 ms better response time than other keyboards" or whatever. But i don't care because I'm not a fucking pro and you should not care because neither are you because 0.07 ms doesn't make ANY difference to you.
I was going to buy this keyboard but I will never un-see that @ symbol.
*****
sue dat company
Lets also not forget the R key. Every letter on the keyboard is a capital except the R.
Honestly I never see the keys anyway. Doesn't bother me anymore. U
When I have to replace my Blackwidow I will probably save my 2/@ key to put on the new one. Maybe by then they will fix the r as well.
also... the &.
I feel like most people whose break their keyboards/mice constantly just don't take care of their stuff. I have the first generation Blackwidow from 2012 and it's still working just fine. I bought a second Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2014 to use at work and that's working fine too.
დ - this is georgian character
Cool
+giorgi shengelaia Good to know.
this or g710+ ?
Exactly!
I should go for gigbyte osuimi
ikr its a hard decision
I was going to buy the G710 until I had a chance to physically use it at Fry's. The problem with the G710 is that the keys easily fall off. This is especially more prevalent in the CTRL, ALT and G keys. I saw used the Razer Ultimate, but i am not convinced.
LRF49 i was also thinking of combo g502 and g710+ unless they give us even better g710+ maybe g810+ with screen that would be amazing
does anybody have video proof or review of keys falling apart after just 2months of usage? g710+ has warranty 2-3 years right? does that includes keys falling off
This channel really is getting better and better!
Thx team
i will stick to my Logitech G710+ :)
