I am sure it's not easy but humping drywall and hanging 5/8s on the ceiling all day really does suck and is hard on the body. My body was constantly achy. I would have to go into small places like this poor guy in the trailer. I am taking a welding course and hoping this will be my career until I retire. I am 35.
I’m 16 in highschool and I’m very interested in taking this trade. I’d love to learn the skill of welding and want a job that I enjoy, if I’m gonna be working for decades I want it to be something that I like! I’m also quite excited for the salary lol
i work in a fabrication shop too, do almost the exact same thing as you do. but with a little music you made your life look alot more epic than mine. lol
Thank you for the video! I'm interested in taking this trade after leaving cabinetmaking, looks more fun! I took intro courses, safety courses (fucking expensive but they are required by welding union in my city for better wage). I noticed you decided to follow your passion instead of working, whatever it is, I hope you found and am still holding that!
Thanks so much for that I really appreciate that. I started a videography business !! I am going to start uploading more videos soon. It is really fun work and I do miss welding some days. Again I appreciate your comment
Thank you so much! Yeah I know welding takes skill but after you get good at it , it feels like your a robot and you could teach a monkey to do your job hey? Hahah I know that’s how I felt anyways .. but yeah it definitely takes a lot of work but the feeling I get when I finish editing a video and watch it thinking to myself “damn I made that “ is a really good feeling , just like how we would look at a finished project and think “ damn I fabricated that “ lol
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.

Hi! Thanks for the video. I was recently accepted into a welding program, and was glad to see your video since you were working in a shop. I read that many welders travel for work. Can you tell me if this is a personal choice, or a requirement? I’d rather stay at home if at all possible. Thanks!

Not long before your making good money , you can get a job sweeping the floor of a welding shop for $18-$20 an hour and slowly learn from there how to weld. Once you can weld and pass your CWB test your a certified welder
because I really need the job, apart from that, I also like the job and I am the type of person who adapts easily and quickly learns and understands new things.
Turns out welders put their pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else. How come you didn't show the part where you snuggled in the trailer box to hold your buddies valve?
Hahah when I was recording this video I totally mis-understood what he said I thought he said “ no I’m good “ so I just walked away 😂 watching this after I realized he asked for my help
Can someone get back to me whenever u can. But how hard is it to make 30 plus an hour as a welder. I saw that there are some huge companies that pay a lot. But that’s prolly not where I’ll be. So is it u heard of for someone young to get a job welding somewhere for 30 plus an hour?
You have to start somewhere, get hired pushing a broom for $20 Hr then maybe the boss will see potential if you work hard and teach you how to weld or if you know how to weld after pushing broom for a while show him your work ! Gotta work for it.

Don't hear any one complaining about having a job. It's work and it's hard but at the end of the day you did something.
Yes!!
