You actually CAN use the battle host rerolls on drukhari units, shockingly; it makes drukhari units in eldar better than they are in their own detachment
Thank you mate, you are correct Ive pinned the post just so it's clear for everyone else too. I think Jake just misread the ruling thats all but your right it does make Drukhari a lot better 😂😂
A great use of Bladestorm strat comes from playing as Ynnari. You bring a venom which has two splinter cannons for 6 shots, sustained hits, anti-infantry 3+, ap1 d2 shooting. plus you load it with 5man kabalites which includes another 3 shots splinter cannon, and the rest splinter rifles 2 shots each with anti infatry 3+, ap0, d1. Thats 17 shots that now have ap2/3 on 3+.
@32:20 you say: "Psychic aswell". What is the advantage of beeing a Psychic Weapon? I only see the disadvantage of enemy units having some resistance against it. Fleshhounds with a 3+FNP for example.
To be perfectly honest I think you misnamed this video. It feels more like a review of the best of the codex than a how-to-play. We need one of the great SWOT-analysis videos for Aeldari.
When trying to counter phantasm, how do you maintain unit coherency while trying to encircle - unit of 10 means each model needs to be within 2 models and in a circle that might be tough to do? So you'd need to commit more than one unit to encircle - sounds a bit all in

When use user "fates messenger" is it important to roll one at a time, or is it just assumed you are likely to roll a one or two and those would be what you wait for.
At what I believe is now a 58% tournament win rate and falling I think Eldar are finally levelling out. Giving other factions and players chances at some fun games. Nobody likes being tabled before you even put your army on the table ;)
I started playing Eldar in 2nd, and they were a very glass cannon faction, and they have not seemed to really be given rules that work for them until this edition, they seem much more what they used to be.
I love how the Eldar's faction mechanic is essentially just the Sisters' Miracle Dice, but better. Sisters are an extremely high risk for mediocre reward army while Eldar are a high risk, extremely high reward army lol I've got almost $600 worth of Eldar kits in my Amazon cart someone please talk me out of this
Slight mistake at the start of the video about the strand of fate dice. They cannot be used to modify a re-roll as the rules says Once per phase, before making a dice roll for a model or unit from your army with the Strands of Fate ability, if you have one or more dice in your Fate dice pool, you can use one of those Fate dice. So if you need to specify the fate dice before the roll, it cannot be used after a re-roll be it a CP re-roll or anything else.
As a newer player, phantasm makes sense and seems overpowered, but in practice it’s been tough figuring out when to use this strat best. I kinda wish they went even more in-depth on situations where it would be ideal
@@TAZEROXFORD well 2 come to mind either they deepstrike something and you don't want it charged so you move away or they move out of range of wraithcannons and you move closer so they don't want to shoot them. But theres probably waay more uses.
Why yes, hello, player who hasn't played since 5th edition here, joining the new millennium in 10th ed, and with only two games of Eldar under my belt, I found this video extremely informative because I have *no idea* how my current units measure up anymore.
Did the Codex come out and I didn't know about it? I thought "10th edition" was just a way for GW to peddle overpriced, quickly invalidated Index Cards? :P

@@VanguardTactics yeah it’s unfortunate that they had to nerf drukhari units because the aeldari detachment made them too strong 😂😂😂 rip
Perfectly timed boys! Just finished getting my Aeldari army battle ready today and have my first game with it on Wednesday!
Straight into it. Respect

@VanguardTactics You guys should do a follow up video post nerfs
I saw a battle report where they used bladstorm on a Fuegan shot for ap -6 lol - guarantee that a wound will go through on a unit without invulns
it's here!

I love Ynnari. It diversifies the army, which is really cool. Sadly, looks like GW doesn't care anymore about this playstyle.

Quick qwestion if I use the "Phoenix gem" and "the yncarne" would yncarne teleport and the model resurrect?
You can't put enhancements on epic heroes
has there been an FAQ since this was released? i see that the webspinner now only -2 to charge but you still can
Under the rules for wraithguard, when using wraith construct, does this mean you can shoot at something if you’re in combat with it?

Wow.. It's actually amazing that the explanation could be more confusing than the rulebook. I'm not even mad. 😂
I picked aledri because of the game rift of war. Which the main characters are aledri craftworld
My first game is at the end of the month in a 2k match im borrowing an Aeldari army and going against black templars any advice
Patiently waiting for GSC...
Not sure if points changed in the last ten months but i recreated that list and its 200 points too expensive
Sounds about right with faqs
The wraith guard return fire ability literally says once per battle round.
Shouldn’t count as an unmodified dice to trigger dev wounds or whatever it’s quite literally being modified
I think it changed right after these guys made their video

I hope I never have to play against Aeldari 😆
Did this need a video? "Put units on the table and dont forget phantasm". Done. 😂
I do actually keep forgetting it, mostly because I think of lightning reflexes first and feignet retreat. And I want to get closer in most cases.
As a newer player, phantasm makes sense and seems overpowered, but in practice it’s been tough figuring out when to use this strat best. I kinda wish they went even more in-depth on situations where it would be ideal

“Put units on table, don’t let opponent do anything, fun game had by all…”
I love the way they look, but it seems like their play style is just cheese 🧀.
Well without being toooo salty, choose units plus an Yncarne, then put said units o the table, and win 🙂
And whoever wrote this broken army must have been on drugs, the rules are just broken.
Cry harder
How to play aldari
Just win😊
I can't understand their accent. 😢

Really..?
Like The Eldar need more freakin’ help.
Keep up the good work gents.
